I don't disagree with what you're saying here... of course teams hire media people to control their message... but how does any of the above have anything to do with media being barred for asking tough questions?... so I'll ask again (because you've made the claim several times) can you name one example of someone in the media being barred from the team for asking tough questions?

Just what I was thinking... losing 12-13 (or so) man games of Lawler and Shoen is far more impactful than 18 from a special teamer...

you know there could be a ticket drive involved here too... a casual fan (who maybe trusts Farhan's opinion) hears this and thinks "wow, if he's that good I better check out this game"... at least he's drumming up CFL conversation

concussions are a weird animal... we've seen guys miss multiple weeks after taking a body shot... and other guys not miss a single snap after a direct shot to the head.... if the team is clearing him to play, I trust he's healthy.

I think this makes the most sense... take off Johnson, Case, and Thomas (hahaha, I know that would never happen, but one can dream)... and replace them with Lawler, Murphy, and Haba Ayers seems like this year's Cole... I think we'll start to see him get defensive resp as the season moves along... and if that means we have Ayers and Cole as our primary LBs next year... that could work out

Montreal chooses Alexander... Fajardo goes back to Sask because they believe he's awesome... Fajardo proceeds to suck again... BTW, IMO Davis Alexander is proving with the right team surrounding him and right weapons at his disposal... any decent QB can thrive in that scenario

I don't understand your criticism here... he did what a leader is supposed to do... he took responsibility for his team's loss and vowed to be better going forward... I would take that as a positive if that were my head coach

This would be ideal but then you're using all you're DIs on DL and LB... that won't happen... only way we're playing 8 on DL is with another Canadian or Int dressed... assuming Lawson is done for the year, best case for the team is probably Willie, Woods, Adams, Garbutt starting with Habba (DI), Thomas, Schmek, and Hubert rotating in....

that loss to Sask hurts more than any... especially cuz that was for the season series with a labour day/banjo bowl split likely... had the Bomber won that, they would shockingly be in a good position for first place at mid-season

No chance that is going to happen... they still believe he is the best chance for a grey cup contender with the home game next years... What I wish they would do is say... start playing the young guys and see what we have, and you'll keep your job even if we go 4-14... we need to get better next year and we're DOA starting OverTheHill, Thomas, BA, Lofton, Kolo, etc....

I think if there's anything we have learned about Kramdi... football IQ is absolutely his strength When Biggie started out the year on IR... I was really hoping he would be Mike Miller'd this year.... great guy to have around the team... just not necessarily on the field on game day anymore
