Don't disagree... the point I'm making is more that we haven't seen anything from Streveler to indicate that he will have a good deep ball... I sure hope he does... we just don't know yet...

Not sure I'd agree with that... based on the extremely small sample size of the BC game... Nichols had 3 deep balls on the money.... Streveler had one that was well under thrown...

The problem is we don’t know this (despite some people claiming otherwise)... it’s easy to lay “blame” when you know the play call... if check down is actually the second read then LaPo is to blame but if Nichols is making one look then checking down, it’s Matt’s fault...

There's a lot of things to criticize Matt Nichols about... but this isn't one of them... he had 5 yards to go with three Calgary defenders converging... if he goes for that he gets throttled and the same idiot rumblers would've said "why doesn't he slide more often"...

I think some people still forget that Nichols is - by far - the best QB we've had since Kevin Glenn 1.0... I like Nichols and I'm 100% confident that the best version of him is good enough to win a Grey Cup... where I'm starting to get very concerned.... is how often are we getting the best version of Nichols??... at this point, it's 4 out of 7 games.... which is not often enough...

They should offer free upgrade for the people who bought out the cheap seats... then resell the cheap seats....

Funny, me too... I jumped on the band wagon as a youngster watching the Warner-Faulk greatest show on turf.... the last few years I've been torn... they're finally good again, which is great... but I hate cheering for a team in a major market (and yes, I realize they were originally from LA)...

These two points from @Geebrr and @Rich are 100% correct... those who don't like the stadium location come up with all this revisionist history about how easy it was at polo park... I can often remember sitting in traffic in my car or on a bus for 20-30 minutes without even getting on to Portage... and they act like they parked right outside their gate and just drove off the lot...

Darrin Bauming continues to insist on using the term "healthy scratch" for Matthews... while it is possible he is almost healthy and he certainly is scratched... "healthy scratch" is a nice way of saying benched for performance or other issues... I believe it's more of a "rest up so you're healthy in the long run" type of scratch...
