Rivalries, Late Starts, & Game Days - Attendance
I highly doubt Edmonton, Vancouver, Ottawa, Montreal and Calgary have less sporting options than Winnipeg...

Regular Season Bomber News
A few things wrong here... - first "the trinity" @Noeller is referring to is Miller/Walters/O'Shea... - The biggest difference between Mack and Walters is that Walters is willing to own his mistakes and cut ties before it's too late... Mack just doubled down on those mistakes b/c he's the smartest guy in the room.... and saying that Mack never scouted a single one of his draft picks isn't exactly an endorsement for him... - finally, we have no idea who made those comments about Mack... I think it's likely someone not even associated with the Bombers anymore maybe not even in the CFL anymore... Maybe Burke haha

Ottawa Redblacks In Town Part 2
you're kind of proving his point... I agree that the game plan was bad and Calgary out-coached the Bombers in every facet... but to suggest Nichols played good in that game is ridiculous....

Ottawa Redblacks In Town Part 2
I'm not sure which GDT you were reading... but I recall Chip being almost exclusively positive during the Argos game....

Rivalries, Late Starts, & Game Days - Attendance
What a crazy story... this from Bleacher report in reference to a brawl between the Rangers and the fans: "Ken Aspromonte, the manager of the Indians, realizing that some of the Rangers' players lives were in danger, told his players to grab bats and help them out."

Let's hope the only "product" being "revealed" is on-field... from this point on...

Monday Morning Musings - we're 4 and 0 edition
Did anyone else notice how often Jefferson was beating a double team.... getting held by BOTH guys... and still not getting the holding call??

Week 5 Takeaways
Funny I was mentioning to the guys at the game that the guy Jefferson was taunted actually ended up making the tackle...

Locker from CanadInns Stadium
I'm disappointed to hear that this locker no longer brings you joy...

Argos at Bombers - Game Day
brilliant... that's even better than I expected... so many ways to insult the Argos, they didn't even have to mention 0-3....

Regular Season Bomber News
well at least he helped us win that epic Thanksgiving come back game against BC... Steven Jyles' high point as a Bomber QB....

Argos at Bombers - Game Day
LOL... bunch of ignorant clowns... I suspect our social media team (the best in the league, BTW) will have a clever response for this

EDM @ BC
This makes the most sense... By my count that had 9 starting Canadians last night... 4 OL, 3WR, MLB and a corner... get two imports on that line and start from there..
-
EDM @ BC
diapers don't burn... does that help?? Mike O'Shea had less experience... Claybrooks obviously hasn't looked great so far but it's a little ridiculous to write off a coach after 4 games...

Bombers vs Smoked Argos Coming to 'Peg
I would've liked to seem Rasheed Baily get a shot... but that being said, it's not like Lawler has had a great opportunity to showcase himself yet...

2019 CFL Season: Around the League
Two inaccurate statements... first, Chris Boucher is Canadain... Second... no one was cheering because the guy got hurt... they were just chirping him b/c it looked like he just slipped or tripped on his own feet... once the severity of the injury was realized, the crowd quickly quieted... (sorry for changing the subject for the 17th time in this thread but it bugs me that people think fans were genuinely cheering at the severity of that injury)

2019 CFL Season: Around the League
I agree with @Noeller that the title is condescending ... but if this guy wants to be a bomber fan, he's all good in my books... there's plenty of room on the bandwagon for the Dakotas...

Bombers @ Lewis Ward's 47 yard missed FG Pre-game Thread
You're probably right... I highly doubt teams are "scared" to play against the bombers... but I also doubt they're looking forward to it... and would much prefer a match up with Toronto or Montreal...

Regular Season Bomber News
delete... realized I just made the exact same point...

2019 CFL Season: Around the League
The purpose of my list was bands that still exist and could actually play at half time... of course the Guess Who are, and will likely forever be, the most famous band to come out of Winnipeg...
-
Week 4 Takeaways
Normally I would've been frustrated with that b/c it took away a TD... but I wasn't worried about it in that game... and sure enough they scored a TD on the drive anyways... I feel a little bad for Adams b/c that catch would've been all over the highlight reels if it was a TD...

2019 CFL Season: Around the League
Off the top of my head (current bands): JD Edwards Band, The Bros Landreth (Joey Landreth and Ariel Posen have great solo projects too), The Honeysliders, Moon Tan, Anything Johnny Moonbeam is associated with.... I'm sure there's plenty of other ones that I can't come up with right now... Some classics listed in the thread too...

Looking for memories of 1991 Grey Cup week/festivities/hoopla etc.
I have nothing to provide since I was 5 at the time.. but thanks for bumping the thread, it was a good read... I missed it the first time as I don't come around here as often in the off-season... I hope we get some input from @SpeedFlex27... he seems to have photographic memory when it comes to Bomber/CFL history...

2019 CFL Season: Around the League
It probably depends on where you sit... I'd say in my section the majority is in the 30-50 range... I disagree... just get a good band instead... there's probably about 100 bands in Winnipeg that are better than that **** they promoted last home game...

Week 4 Takeaways
I've always preferred a "tiered" power ranking type of system... Tier 1, Good Teams: Winnipeg, Calgary, Hamilton, Edmonton Tier 2, ok-ish teams: Ottawa Tier 3, Bad Teams: Sask, BC, Toronto, Mtl
