I disagree with point one so I would get into an argument about it... but this is a good point... I'll start off by saying I like Walters and O'Shea and I hope (want) them to be the guys to get us over the current drought... but maybe you're right... maybe they are just good enough to get us back to the point of competitiveness and respectability... but not quite the guys to get us over the hump... well, I think we'll have at least next year to find out... This is BS and you know it... I'll give you that the second TD was garbage time... but if you think a 3 score game with 9 mins left is already over... you must be new to the CFL...

This is a really confusing statement... Dressler going for 9 catches, 114 yards and 2 TDs is the reason we lost?? I agree we need another top end receiver or two... but Dressler is the least of our concerns...

I'm not sure if Lankford dresses... the DIs will be Medlock, Wild, Flanders (if he's healthy) then the 4th will be either Knox or Lankford... the fact that Fogg is listed as the KR and PR leads me to believe no Lankford.... I would rather see Knox sit and have an additional weapon available for offense and teams... Briggs and Miles bring just as much as Knox on D... but we all know O'Shea loves linebackers!

That's actually the first thing I noticed when I saw the announcements... Now I think Trestman will win and he deserves it... taking a team from tire fire to 9-9 and a playoff spot is impressive (I'm ignoring the fact that he won the east b/c that's not much of a feat these days)... But for the west nominee... I would have Maas, O'Shea, and (*shudder*) Jones ahead of Dickenson for coaching performances this year... hate to admit it but going from 5 wins to 10 and a playoff spot should have been good for the nomination IMO... I won't admit which coach I'm talking about...

It actually goes to show you how impressive Alex Singleton's season has been... under normal circumstances, if a Canadian leads the league in rushing (or receiving) they are a lock to win the MOC... the fact that Singleton is in the running is all the more impressive... I wonder if some voters might actually take into account that Harris is a "true" Canadian... rather than an American with citizenship... I doubt anyone admits it, but that might be a factor for some of the hard core CFL traditionalists...

I think you're stretching the definition of "criticize"... so far it appears to me that most people would like to see more from Givens and Washington... maybe one will step up and prove he belongs... which I would agree with...

The difference between Neufeld the last two games vs the Neufeld that struggled for 2 season with the Bombers is supporting cast... He's got perennial all-star Bryant to his left and rising star Goossen to his right... He's just gotta do his job and he knows full well the other guys will do theirs...

I agree that Denmark isn't the player he used to be... but how many would complain if he comes up with a stat line of 5 for 55 yards and 2 TDs (this was his production in the banjo bowl)... I think he can still be a productive receiver and hope he has a few decent performances left in the tank...

I did get a chance to watch a lot of this game (a nice advantage to trying to get a new born to sleep) and I agree the Argos are legitimate cup contenders this year... But I would also love to meet them in Ottawa Nov 26... let's set up Medlock for another game winner and see how it goes this time

Tough to imagine Lapo would want to work under Kavis Reed and Joe Mack... I mean, he's been there before with Mack as a GM and Kavis as his DC... that being said, HC jobs are rare... only 9 currently exist... so I would not be surprised at all if he took an interview to consider his options...
