  1. Gawd, he's the worst broadcaster in the history of western civilization. He actually gets worse as the season goes along. Yeah, he's awful. I wish Miller and Dunigan would take him over for main play by play.
  2. Thought I'd start this thread up as the Hamilton/Montreal game is about to start. Who you got?
  3. I get the feeling they don't really care about anything else other than the Leafs down there. The Leafs seemingly are the only team there with a consistently good attendance, even when they suck. EDIT: Oh, and the Blue Jays obviously. Blue Jays don't have good attendance when they suck. Not spectacular, but absolutely better than the Argos. Jays are still very popular. Hey Durresler just curios as you live in St. John. Do you see people in CFL gear or out at bars watching games or anything? My girlfriend moved to WPG from Nova Scotia and she says there's not much interest in the CFL out east. Is that true from what you've seen? There isn't a tonne of interest out here, but I have seen some jerseys around (1 eskimo jersey, 1 rider jersey, and possibly someone in Stamps gear, but can't remember). Don't really go to bars much (sometimes pubs though), so haven't really seen if anyone meets for games or not. There is in fact though a group of Rider fans based in Fredericton that meets up for many of the Rider games. Group is usually from 5 to 12 people. Oddly enough, even though Montreal is the closest team to Saint John, I have yet to see someone in Als gear and all of the gear I've seen have been west division teams.

  6. I think you mean 2011. That was our bad year (5-13). Time flies. Does it ever! Life feels like it's in fast forward these days . Nice edit on your other post BTW, haha .

  8. To think I used to defend him... Welcome back to the board ISO. Yeah, welcome back!
  9. Finally got another correct pick yesterday. Man, this year is awful as far as predictions go.
  10. I doubt he will. Nothing he really does breaks the rules even though he is strange at times. He will only get banned if he starts Rider-bashing which he hasn't done yet.
  11. Alright, don't let me down, Cornish. Really should have picked Dressler, especially seeing as I originally picked Smith.
  12. They are comparing Chamblin to Greg Marshall now. It's awesome. Full scale meltdown. One person did. Most people disagreed with him to a degree. Chamblin is nowhere near as bad as Marshall, but he certainly can be to blame for some of the problems.
  13. Nicholls bailed out by a penalty. Otherwise, he's starting to lose his steam.
  14. Ha, what the heck? A lineman getting a pick 6?
  15. What the ****? Another missed convert?
  16. Man, same here. Already have a 1-7 record and now Ottawa is getting cranked. Things don't look like they're getting better.
  17. I'd be cautious about Allen. He didn't get many carries last game. Messam is probably a safer pick.
  18. ok, cotton then. He's wondering which Smith you're referring to. I assume you mean Ryan Smith.
  19. And 0 for 4. Wow that was terrible. On another note, I wonder what would have happened if the Riders ended up tying the game.
  20. Glenn was NOT why they lost. He was absolutely outstanding yesterday having the best performance of any QB so far this season with almost 500 yards. Also, that interception was on Taj Smith. Instead of actually running towards the ball, he basically stood there. One of the main reason we lost was defence. Couldn't make a tackle to save their lives and allowed too many big plays. Considering just how close the game was, less big plays may have given us the win. Glenn will be a great leader for us going forward. If we don't finish well this year, it will be because of defence, not quarterbacking, and this would have been a problem even if Durant hadn't gotten injured.
  21. "Dial 1-8-0!" Burris=1 Williams=80
