  1. Montreal vs. Ottawa: Montreal Wins 14-3. Mediocre East team vs. Mediocre East team. This one's going to be a low scoring game. Calgary vs. Hamilton. Calgary wins 30-17. Could be a close game, but Calgary has too much power for Hamilton to handle. Edmonton vs. Toronto. Edmonton wins 41-10. Toronto is a mess. They don't stand a chance against a strong west team like Edmonton. Saskatchewan vs. Winnipeg. Saskatchewan wins 35-24. Sorry guys, but the Riders are going to have too much home field energy for Winnipeg to handle. It'll be fairly close though.
  2. The only difference is, this time, we have Kevin Glenn if Durant gets injured again. We won't have to rely on rookie QBs. It won't be nearly the same chaos that it was last year. I see it like this: 1. Calgary 2. Edmonton 3. Saskatchewan 4. Winnipeg 5. BC 2nd through 4th could go either way, and the difference between them could be 1 game or a tie break, IMO. Calgary has 1st sealed, and BC is doomed to be last with uncertainty at QB.
  3. This is a stupid post, TSN is part of the basic cable package everywhere is it not? This is just people whining about not wanting cable and that sort is entirely screwed up in their thought process. I want to watch TV but I refuse to pay the price to get tv channels so I can watch TV. Netflix won't last as it is forever, content owners are already looking at ways to have their services themselves. Netflix itself has even stated that it's goal long term is to become HBO faster than HBO can become Netflix. They are putting a lot of emphasis on their own original content rather than getting bent over trying to get other content providers to license them content. It's going to be cable packages on the internet rather than TV in the future and that's a damned shame. The local TSN (i.e. TSN3 in Manitoba) is always in the basic cable, but the other ones aren't always depending on tv provider. I get what you're saying though. I don't understand the type who download everything and use illegal websites. Why risk it? It's cheating.
  4. Nate!! Lol, I know right? Any mention of Bauer makes me think of Lyle E. Style/Nasty Nate. Guy has it in for Bauer so much.
  5. Where do you live? I live in Saint John, NB. I moved from Saskatoon a week and a half ago. I am like 3 hours ahead of Fort Mac, lol.
  6. Geeze, Rider game on at 11 Atlantic. Definitely PVRing.
  7. Do you guys mostly go with MTS? Is that why you guys can't watch? Because otherwise, most of the main providers are covered.
  8. Link will probably be up closer to the game.
  9. To watch on TSN GO, you must be with one of these providers:
  10. I have access to tsn.ca, but Dad would kill me if I gave you guys his info .
  11. Honestly, I don't think the fact that the Rider game is televised has to do with the Riders. It's being played in Fort McMurray, and they seem to want to catch as much of the action up there as they can. It's really too bad there aren't more preseason games on considering the amount of TSN channels now, but since the Women's World Cup is on, they probably can't.
  12. Works for me. Rich must've fixed it.
  13. Last time I checked, the BMO field can't hold 53K people, the attendance for tonight's game. Can't always have it your way, Toronto.
  14. Just found out from this thread. Pretty surprising to hear, especially given his friendship with Crosby. Just like the others say, it's probably to do with money. I have a feeling though that they won't be relocating the team. If I'm wrong though, I'll certainly follow wherever they go.
  15. I thought I posted my full predictions with records? Apparently not, so here goes: 1. Calgary: 13-5 2. Edmonton: 11-7 3. Saskatchewan: 11-7 4. Winnipeg: 10-8 5. BC: 5-13 1. Hamilton: 11-7 2. Montreal: 8-10 3. Ottawa: 7-11 4. Toronto: 5-13 Saskatchewan @ Edmonton: Saskatchewan wins Winnipeg @ Montreal: Winnipeg wins Saskatchewan @ Calgary: Saskatchewan wins Winnipeg @ Hamilton: Winnipeg wins Saskatchwan vs. Winnipeg: Winnipeg wins in OT West side seems a little bias, but I'd just love to see a Rider vs. Bomber Grey cup, plus the West is going to be tight, so I could see it potentially happening. Grey Cup would be a very close game, but with the energy of home field, Winnipeg squeaks past.
  16. Lol, that'd be interesting, but I really hope it doesn't happen. The last thing the Riders need is an old kicker. We need a young kicker that's dependable for more than one or two seasons. Yup, they can be an unpredictable bunch. No one thought after they started off 0-5 in 2011 that they'd end up winning the cup! They're still the most logical choice of team to miss the playoffs in the West though, so I won't hold my breath.
  17. In ! Also looking forward to lock of the week and the pick 'em.
  18. This is why I could never live in the Maritimes. It would drive me insane not being able to watch a lot of the games because of the late start times. BC time zone rules. 4:00 pm and the beer starts flowing as the puck drops on games from out East. Can't beat that. Yeah, hockey is going to suck out here. Almost all of my Oilers games are going to be on from 10-11 PM. Going to be PVRing most of them. Football will only change somewhat though. There will probably just 4 Rider games to PVR.
  19. Great to hear. Barring Rod Black, TSN still delivers high quality production. Don't want it to go back to CBC and I absolutely do not want Rogers to get a hold of it. Living in New Brunswick, I'm not sure what to think about the Thursday Night Football. Could end up with games starting at 10 and 10:30 more often here.
  20. Your numbers are off I believe. There can only be a total of 81 wins, and here, there is a total of 82 wins. His numbers are correct. Now cue all the Saskatchewan math and counting jokes. It is 81, you're right. I must have clicked the wrong button. The calculator on Windows 8 is such a pain in the ass because it has its own full window. Always have to switch between chrome and the calculator.
  21. 12-6 is a little steep I think. Definitely doable, but competition is a little too strong for that record. 11-7 seems more likely.
  22. Your numbers are off I believe. There can only be a total of 81 wins, and here, there is a total of 82 wins.
  23. What the hell? Since when as a politician is that appropriate behaviour? Any way she could get fined for this?
