  1. Who's the backup for Toronto? This can't be good at all.
  2. Whining at the refs? What game were you watching? I never once saw him complain to the refs.
  3. 1. Y-Calgary 2. X-Edmonton 3. X-Saskatchewan 4. X-Winnipeg 5. BC 1. Y-Hamilton 2. X-Montreal 3. Ottawa 4. Toronto West could go either way. It's going to be very close. The only one I'm certain on is BC. The only hope they have is if Lulay stays healthy. Otherwise, I have no idea who their backup is even now that Glenn is gone. With Ray having injury problems I don't see Toronto going very far.
  4. Well, with a lot of people out of jobs, I'm not going to be surprised if they all end up moving to Saskatchewan. It seems to be where all of the jobs are. Woo hoo! Saskatchewan is going to be even more overcrowded and traffic is going to be even more bottle necked! Thank God I am moving at the end of the month.
  5. Feeling the same way about my Penguins. Wished they could have moved on farther, but I'm ready to bring on football again. Can't wait until June.
  6. Chiarelli has been given Lowe's spot AND MacTavish's! And there is much rejoicing in Edmonton. That's a good hockey guy who built the Bruins into one of the top teams in the league. Lots of speculation because of all the Hockey Canada connections that Babcock is going to wind up as coach, but Todd Mclellan is an option too, possibly Claude Julien if the Bruins fire him. Any of those three would be a quantum leap better than Dallas Eakins. Any coach in the league is better than Dallas Eakins. He absolutely destroyed our team. I cannot even believe the Flyers are even considering hiring that guy. He belongs in the AHL.
  7. A goalie, if anything........ A goalie or defenceman would be preferable. Those are our two biggest weak spots ATM. If those gaps are filled, I see us being a contender very soon having a generational player and experienced management, and also likely an experienced coach. Haven't felt this optimistic about this team in I don't know how long.
  8. This. I live in a Rider heavy area and I just don't engage (for the most part ). No desire to feed their egos further and make me look small and bitter. Besides if they feel the need to rock all their Rider gear in far off places around the world, doesn't that come off as attention seeking and insecure? If so then I say carry on Rider fans. Any Blades fans over in Brandon you have to deal with too ?
  9. Damien Cox ✔ @DamoSpin Follow Sounds like MLSE set to do a lease deal for Argos at BMO. Sadly, not for this season. 11:29 AM - 23 Mar 2015 It seems as if a deal may be nearing.
  10. Have you not heard of "political football"? Nope, never have. You learn something new every day.
  11. Lol, I appreciate that you think that I am older, but I'm not. I was 14 a year ago when I joined up here, and I turned 15 3 days ago. It would be a lie to say I am any older. I know a lot of what I am saying doesn't sound teen like, but that's because I am not like a lot of teenagers. I was raised to be more open minded. I also don't have a tonne of friends. My primary friends are my family, so it isn't as hard for me to move out. Not really sure what else to say. I thought it was alot more obvious that I was younger. Also doesn't make sense that I would lie that I'm younger. If anything, it would more likely that I'd lie that I'm older.
  12. Lol, since when do politics have anything to do with football ? Truly is a long off season.
  13. Looking for change. Not very satisfied living in Saskatoon. The only thing I will miss in Saskatchewan is my house and going to Rider games. Other than that, it's pretty boring and ugly out here. My personality is better suited in the east where I can get out of the house and do more. Plus, CFL games are national, so I can still enjoy Rider games on TV . What about your Blades? You'll have to adopt a QMJHL team. Yup, will be cheering for the Sea Dogs next season ! Fifteen year olds don't own homes. How is going to the East Coast even farther away from the CFL going to be better for you? It's your life so you can do whatever you want. Best of luck. There is a lot more to this move than the CFL. If this was based solely on the CFL, I would be staying. But sports aside, I don't like it in Saskatchewan. There is surprisingly not much to do here and very little surroundings. New Brunswick may be small, but it has a lot of history, so there are many places to visit still. And the summers last much longer there too, so less cabin fever. It's also close to Quebec and the US, so it takes a day or less to visit places like Montreal, Boston, and New York. It looks nice too. Lots of trees, and it's by the Atlantic Ocean! ------------------------------ And just because I don't own the house, doesn't mean I don't live there . I gotta think that because hes living in Saskatoon is enough reason as to why. Yeah but places like Moncton, Fredericton, Charlottetown or Sydney? I can see Halifax but there's nothing in those other places. Even Regina would be better.

  15. I gotta think that because hes living in Saskatoon is enough reason as to why. Yeah, pretty much this. Overcrowded, not much to do, and very little surroundings. Other than the Saskatoon side, I'm pretty excited to move to the east coast. Beautiful, lots of outdoor activities, and closer surroundings.
  16. Well, since I am moving to the East Coast this summer, this will be the last time I get to enjoy not changing the clocks .
  17. So if you were basically offered Connor MacDavid, you wouldn't give up those two? He is a generational player, possibly up to Crosby's level. No offence to the Jets, because they are a great team, but I'd offer any of their players for the #1 pick. If you have an opportunity to draft McDavid, you take it unless it involves someone like Crosby.
  18. Realistically you probably have to start thinking of next season. What looks good for your Blades next season? Better forwards and D? Goaltending? I admit my knowledge of the Blades is limited. I know you guys made some good moves for the future at the trade deadline. Forwards will probably end up downgrading a little as Stovin and Zajac will be 21 next season. Defence is very young as far as I know, so it shouldn't be shaken up too much. Amundrud should be our starter again next year so, goaltending won't be shaken up too much either. Overall, I don't think we will lose too many players, so next year will be a good season to strengthen the chemistry of the current roster. I think we should be a bubble playoff team by then.
  19. The Women's World Cup is taking place partly in Edmonton. Stadium is probably booked that day.
  20. Centre field row 10 and up is the best. Equal view of both sides of the field and being up higher gives you a better perspective.
  21. The west is a toss up from first to last this year. Need to wait for free agency to progress more, IMO to determine predictions.
  22. With expanded seating the place will seat more - 10,000 or so by the looks of things. About the same as some of those exhibition games they played in the Maritimes (think Halifax and possibly Moncton without the temp seats) several years ago. Edit: I think Moncton blew their chances at any further games, exhibition or regular season, by not selling out the last 2 regular season games there, the latter at a reduced capacity no less. That's really too bad. I'm moving to the east coast this summer, so would have been nice to see a game there. Closest I could get to is Montreal which will be 9-10 hours away. Is your family moving out there? Be a good time to make a break from being on the Dark Side as a Rider fan & join US as a Bomber fan now. Haha, you guys are too kind . I must remain under Emperor Taman's power though .
