Go 6 10 minute I suppose it wouldn’t be quarters anymore tho in pre season. 6 10 minute periods? couldn’t be called quarters since 15 minutes is a quarter of an hour so yeah that’s no good English. intersquad would be cool maybe for the first week. Maybe riders practice here also for a week right cuz logistics wouldn’t work for intersquad games. Toronto Hamilton could pull it off tho. Montreal Ottawa could. Mark Chipman should just coach the team since he’s the guy making the decisions always. Ppl want a new gm. Like he’d have any say. This is chipmans team. The bombers are Winnipeg’s team. The jets are chipmans. Bottom line.

He was good but then figured out but keep in mind he beat up on the Hamilton and ottawas last year. Think he’s seriously overrated. If he didn’t play in Toronto the hype wouldn’t have been there.

In the loss to the argos our qb was the problem. Collaros sucked. Grant even had a punt return TD and all our o did was put up 23 points including the punt return td. last year our o sucked again ( it’s a theme when it gets colder) and our D (American db at that) got beat for the game winning td and earlier our American middle backer got beat for one also. damn starting Canadians.

How many of our cuts have gone on to not become greeters at Walmart ? You would think these guys would maybe try again or get picked up somewhere else and become stars or role players but have any?

Osh also said the cuts are more of a Kyle thing so Kyle and the scouts or bird dogs brought in some legit talent so they wanna give them a chance.

Nothing gonna happen until they interview Todd Nelson and that’s not gonna be for a couple of weeks. I personally think it’s Nelson’s job to lose right now since they are waiting for his team to either win or lose the ahl championship. If Arniel was the guy he’d already be named coach.

I would suggest Collaros is 1 hit away from being finished. He’s not a spring chicken so if they think Barry can be the future, perhaps it’s best to let him develop on the PR. 5 years on the neg list to me means they gonna give him a chance to develop unless he truly is just a systems QB. Next game id give Zach and the starters 2 series. Strev can have the rest of the first half then Wilson and Barry can finish it off. maybe even give Barry and Wilson a series with the starters also.

Are lots of you guys going down to camp to watch cuz last week the big topic was how coverage is so poor that we don’t know what’s going on. I’m not trying to start anything here. Perhaps a bit of a devils advocate post tho but how could you be upset with cuts if we don’t get any coverage? Are we basing this on 1 pre season game that was streamed online with basically zero replays or even a decent camera position? Just wondering. Cuz reality is guys who stood out maybe weren’t doing what their actual assignment was. We don’t know because we aren’t told anything. This is all based on tweets by Derek Taylor I guess? Cuz I don’t see much in the papers or online about any of the new guys really.

The one thing I’d like to know about Barry eh is. Is he in the qb room with Zach and Strev and Wilson putting in extra work . is he going above and beyond. Cuz I’ve heard Wilson is putting that work in. He’s trying hard to learn the nuances. Is la Barry eh. If he’s not I’d let him go. looks more like a guy who maybe fit a system right now.
