Coles notes remember Blake wheeler? And the exact same thing that was said about him as a leader in the room? That’s JT Miller in Vancouver. Without the C. His personality and his leadership style clashes with the younger more chilled EP and QH and their generation. simple as that from what I can gather. I’m not sure Blake was wrong on his approach since it worked for him but it didn’t work for others. Same thing with Miller. Rubs ppl the wrong way. Just how JT miller is really. Blake never lost his **** on ice tho, there’s YouTube videos of miller ripping teammates

Stanley in reality is a decent 6 d man on most nhl teams. I think Stanley’s biggest problem is the jets drafted him in the first round cuz guys a solid 6 7 on most nhl teams. He kills penalties. He’s big. That matters in the nhl. And in the playoffs he has been pretty ok when he did get some games. He’s not as bad as we all say he is. He’s not a top 4 guy and when everyone is healthy, he isn’t. Miller signed 2 years pretty cheap contact. I think he’s ok with the extra d role. Ville at this point is going somewhere with our late 1st in a weak draft. If you compare Stan to most teams 6 7 D men, you learn to appreciate Stan more. He’s not the worst that’s for sure. I actually think Cogs has some 3rd pair rhd potential also as he’s good at creating O.
