Kelly cared lots but his biggest issue was it appears he was not stable mentally. I met the guy as my dad's friend was dating him (his winnipeg girlfriend) and he was decent enough but definitely a guy with an ego. I was very very young during his time here and it was the first year we had season tickets lol. Lots of memories from the Kelly season from playing every QB dressed in 1 game to the Hamilton boat incident to the blue out. Funny enough we lost that game and if we didn't I think we would have been playoff bound. For as awful of a human he was/still probably is.... he wasn't the worst coach in my lifetime

I've unfortunately been to Regina on my way to Calgary. I'll be honest the racism don't shock me as I don't think I've ever seen a non white or indigenous person in Regina.
