Yes. SJ and Chicago 100 percent and buffalo in the McDavid draft 100 percent tanked but it was easy for them as they didn’t have a 40 goal scoring winger. A ppg center and a legit mvp goaltender. Players won’t “tank” but management and coaches can do things to help the team lose tho. If I didn’t know any better I’d think Arniel and Chevy are kind of tanking this season as they are not playing the 12 best forwards or 6 best d every game. Also Arniel constantly says he likes Toews game. I mean either Toews needs coddling or Arniel is delusional

Wilson pretty much done confirmed. Only QB back from last year will be Zach and Artopoeous. I do wonder if Streveler is added as a coach tho. Right now it’s Zach and 3 guys with zero cfl actual game experience. Only way they throw a ball is if Zach is hurt tho.

I’m not saying Jake is shedeur sanders and gonna be legendary but sounds like being a coach takes a certain mindset that Jake apparently has.

The DL coach was Patterson last year. He either retired or was forced to retire. Jake is now the DL coach. To me, Jake as DL coach is like Mike miller becoming a coach immediately afterwards also and last year he was our best coordinator in my opinion so there’s some hope there. Sounds like Jake is well liked and respected throughout the league, regardless of talent or lack off, he was a fine rotational piece tho but regardless of that 13 years of pro football = wealth of knowledge. Just cuz Jake wasn’t athletic enough doesn’t mean he doesn’t know things. I think he’s gonna turn out to be a very good coach for us. I get that feeling. Hogan? After listening to the O’Shea audio, I feel like he’s back because someone else was supposed to be OC but said no so they hired in house and O’Shea feels bad he set hogan up to fail. “First and foremost, it starts with me and making sure I’m holding everybody accountable to a higher standard. No specifics cuz resetting the culture means keeping things in house but I’m not sure I’ve heard a more humble O’Shea than I did in that audio.

Most teams would waive Nyquist and Pearson and prob Schenn to the minors. Toews possibly also. I think I’d tank this season. It’s a good draft. We need young talent. Yager has potential. Chibrikov also. Salo I like lots. Dom the goalie looks good. But outside of that not much currently on the moose. Couple interesting prospects in the ohl and ncaa. Top 4 D for sure in Sasha and possibly top 6 center in Walton. Top 9 let’s say. He looks good also but He won’t be ready for a few seasons. We lack tho a top 3 forward prospect tho currently. Yager definitely top 6 potential but he’s not that big either so. You need a top 5 pick. Ideally win the draft and get a franchise player.

55 has this look like and I thought JT was gonna be good for us look to him. He’s so wide eyed out there currently. It’s all him kfc and Vilardi. Barron kicking in now but Arniel refusing to play Barron at 2 center is just a crime now. Perfetti Barron (moose player) As line 2 would be solid as heck and young with potential to grow. it’s time for Chevy to waive Nyquist Pearson and maybe even Toews to the moose or trade them and play the younger guys. Schenn and miller also. Maybe Demelo even and give Salo a shot with Morrissey. Heinola is not the answer as I was at a moose game and he’s slow AF. I liked Yager tho.

This past year was our first time not in the cup final in 6 seasons. so I’m not sure many other teams are really doing better off than us in any way.

Plus guys don’t just decide to become coaches immediately after retiring. This was obviously something that has been there for a while. It’s more about the talent and scheme with the DL tho so improve that and DL should get better. Need a couple solid ends and defensive tackles. Be interesting to see if Willie and Vaughters are brought back. In thinking one only. The kids looked good at the end there so maybe they are starting for us also. But find a couple more. KMB looked like a player also so maybe you bring back Willie and play him way less. Let Vaughters go tho.

Winnipeg is more affordable for a cfl player than Vancouver tho. The money goes farther here. Honestly I’d avoid bc Toronto and Montreal if I was a player coming up to play in Canada or even grew up here. Not every player tho wants to play in his hometown. Dude is off in Detroit which is closer to Winnipeg than Vancouver right now.

Every coach in hockey pretty much. Most offensive coordinators were bad QBs. I mean the list is quite long in reality. Kellen Moore has the saints rolling. Dude who couldn’t make it in the cfl is the commanders OC. Kliff kingsbury. I mean. There’s a bunch man. In every sport on the planet. there’s more examples of great players failing as coaches. Wayne Gretzky immediately comes to mind. Deion sanders also cuz Colorado sucks. All the basketball coaches are former average players and despite the bias, Jake played pro football for 13 years longer than you did. And here’s a big thing, he’s respected around the league by his peers and teammates. That says something. Fans can **** on players but those guys who played with him and beside him and against him, they don’t and that means more than people online who will always find something to complain about.
