So of the 2 linebackers who is likely to fill the Gauthier special teams role better. I like the DB. Nice size there. Also turns out the kicker is a punter also. DE was best available DLine so I’m good there. Mini camp with Denver. Cline was nice. Was hoping for a futures pick and he’s a solid one. I actually hoped we’d grab another futures pick but guess not. You never know. Puke but liked Sasks approach.

Obviously O’Shea has some say, obviously but it’s quite apparent Kyle and the scouts are running the draft. I’m sure Osh has input but to pretend he lobbied for a dude who he prob never saw play or even at the combine cuz broski wasn’t there is crazy talk. Also interesting to note they brought in Britton for a private workout. He did not play last season at all. Heck of a 2024 tho.

The only sorta issue is the weather is all over the place. It literally snowed last night here. Melted quick but it snowed and it’s still chilly at night and during the day. But maybe it’s better than late November but not really. So the Victoria Day start is gonna be interesting. It’s also the first real weekend ppl go camping or to the cabins here. Bombers and jets have played on the same days in the past. They will again in the future. Non issue. I don’t think there’s that many dual season ticket holders. Jets basically cost a house for season tickets. Bombers = a trip to Costco. Bombers = family. Jets = The rich and wealthy now. Also you could make the argument that the bombers are actually more popular than the Jets in Winnipeg. They charge way less. Draw way more and they make about as much as the jets do in 42 games compared to 9 maximum 10 games for the bombers. Plus a big one, less d bags at football games than hockey ones. Jets would be better off if a guy like Wade was running them and not chipman (recent rumours suggest he might be kind of a big problem) yeah the owner. Yup. Kyle and Chevy are similar I’d say. Jets haven’t had an O’Shea tho. Maybe Maurice was close but not quite.

In reality it’s Kyle and the scouts. That video they posted makes it obvious. Osh has no say in any of this. Honestly. Turns out nobody has a hot clue about the cfl draft. That whole round 2 was wacky. Were other teams questionable picks because coaching? And is it really that questionable? It’s the cfl draft. It’s a crapshoot to begin with. No. That’s just here right. It’s such bullshit and just adds nothing. Reality. O’Shea knows more than all of us on here combined. This was Kyle and the scouts. You really think O’Shea was like yeah this dude that wasn’t at the combine, take him. Honestly. Logic sometimes. The fact this guy wasn’t at the combine should tell you he’s a 100 percent a guy who the scouts loved.

Bombers traded their 2nd next year to move up. They must like him but we also generally get the extra pick at round 2 because of Canadians starting so essentially we traded 13 for 10. We will likely still have a 2nd in 2027. Also from the video, if people think O’Shea is making these picks, you are dead wrong. Scouts and Kyle 100 percent. Osh is there just to be there. Doesn’t say much at all. It’s Kyle and the scouts draft.

Maybe because Vacarro or any of the oline aren’t as good as American oline? I mean Vacarro isn’t a tackle. He’s a center or guard. I mean the reality is we are prob going 3 American oline and prob gonna stay that way for a while and it’s the right move cuz in reality most Canadian oline prob aren’t as good as American ones and the American ones are cheaper you should be able to replace them every few years. The Canadians you pay almost overpay them. I can see a future where only 1 oline is Canadian in the future. Why play your Canadians on the oline when you can play them elsewhere. The DE TE LBs etc can also be Canadians. Shay smith Kramdi Lawson Demski Brady oline plus nationalized dude and there you go really. Nield. You don’t need oline. Why have lesser players protecting your basically your franchise QB.

Yup. Really feel 3 us oline is what we are going to do.13 currently on the roster. We going 3 US oline. The TE FB pick feels like not good to me. 10 catches for 105 in 2 years is not good. Feels like did this guy have military training?

I was looking at receiver cuz I do think it’s a priority spot for us, now I don’t think our 1st pick will be receiver, I see that being OL, I’m actually not even sure our 2nd pick is receiver, could be OL but who in the 26 draft is the guy we should be looking at hard as they say with one of our picks. Is there that guy that could be better than KC and Corks without the KC Is better cuz I said so stuff. I mean, he hasn’t shown much honestly so IMO they both are replaceable depth pieces.

They will keep Blaming goalies eventho McDavid is like minus 30 in the series. Edmontons D is terrible. They have a bunch of offensive D and offensive forwards. They ain’t got a clue how to play team D tho. Not a hot clue. McDavid included. I’ve seen oiler fans say well Philly is up 3 1 on Pittsburgh, true but Philly was better than Pittsburgh. Edmonton better than Anaheim. Anaheim can’t play D either. They are a run and gun team, why the jets struggled against them cuz instead of trying to play strong D first hockey they like Edmonton is doing tried to run and gun with them. You can’t as that Ducks team is young and fast but no way should it be 3 1 ducks. Look what Colorado, truly elite team did to LA? Sweep. Carolina over Ottawa. Sweep. Edmonton isn’t elite. You can keep changing goalies until McDavid leaves or trade him for a haul and truly fix what ails you. Bottom line. Like the jets and Helle, lesser goalies have won Stanley cups with lesser teams than the Jets. If you can trade 1 guy to fix multiple issues long term for you, you gotta think hard about it. If someone offered us a 1st and legit 2 center for Helle, I’d think long and hard about it cuz look at the goalies in the playoffs minus TBAY. Pretty pedestrian really. Colorado runs a tandem. Carolina has a rookie and Freddy Anderson. Anaheim’s keeper is a rookie pretty much. Montreals are younger. It goes on and on and on. I’d think hard just like I think if Edmonton loses they should think long and hard about moving McDavid before he leaves for nothing. McDavid is a solid offensive hockey player but you could argue he can’t be a goat until he wins a cup and he might not ever win a cup. MacKinnon Has won. Kucherov has won. Sid won. Took a while but ovi won. Maybe it takes McDavid a while also. When it’s multiple goalies tho it isn’t the goalie that’s the problem in Edmonton.

Pavia has talent. He’s very small tho 5 foot 9 they say at the combine and his attitude is just toxic. But he might make the Ravens because he’s a smaller Lamar Jackson who likes to run. I’d say Baltimore is his best fit, if pavia can’t make it there he’s not gonna make it anywhere. I agree ego will never allow for him to come up here plus he’s 5 9. He’s tiny but he wins so it’s a dilemma. Attitude is toxic potentially. Is he worth the headaches? Ravens will find out.

Hey man people who self admitted don’t go to practices say so. Thats why. I agree with you tho. I haven’t seen much to suggest that Clercius isn’t just the black Jamie stoddard. The reality is both are 5th options for Zach maybe even 6th option. Corcoran isn’t any better but he was the rookie. Clercius and Corcoran are 2 likely easily replaceable players. It’s an odd debate.
