Stanley sucks but he’s worth more to the Jets than he is in a trade. You’re getting a 5th rd pick prob. Stanley isn’t a top 6 D but as a 7 or 8 he would be fine. Rantanen sucked in Carolina but perhaps he’s better in Dallas but who knows if he wasn’t a product of MacKinnon. Colorado better for sure but to me Nelson is Monahan I think lots of times these deadline moves never work.

I think as fans we need to look at this team in the Helle Scheifele era here. Deals kicked in this season, I think we go for it every year they are here for so the next 7 8 years. If you can move 2nds and later who need 2 prob 3 4 years to develop anyways if they even make it for current nhl players you do it. I like that Chevy hasn’t moved our first…. Yet. Nobody so far has been worth it even in a weak as anything draft class. Still think our 1st heinola Barlow in play.
