You are a very angry person. Regardless if the entire team comes out and lays eggs yeah I blame Maurice. When you lose 6 2 to the worst road team in the league in your own barn and it looks like your effort wad non existent... yeah that's on coaching. I won't blame Maurice for every loss but when the teams effort isn't there... who else can you blame. A goalie? When the whole team looks disorganized and sloppy? Nope I fully expect you to blame goaltending for all our losses. I mean we have scored 1 or 2 goals a game and you still blame the goalies when we lose 2 1

They shopped Burmi around. No takers. Nobody wantedto give anything up. Waived him and Arizona decided to give him a shot. I wish him well. He just wasn't going to be a part of the team anymore. Sucks losing him for nothing but... if someone was willing to offer something for him... we wouldn't have. It is what it is.

It would be if the Jets didn't take penalties. Are you serious tho. If you don't think our penalties lack of discipline and crap pk Is a major reason for our struggles you are out to lunch. We have the 2nd 3rd or worst pk in the league and take tons of penalties. It's tge biggest issue with this team and has been since Maurice was named coach

5 on 5 play helle is in the top 10 in the league in save percentage

Ducky always looks to blame just 1 guy tho. He seems to lack the understanding that it's a team effort or lack there of.

Those 3 all go together like a horse and carriage. Penalties lead to the PK which leads to goals against. Hey. You posted something about the Jets giving up X amount of goals.... I have an idea for you.... find out how many of those goals were a result of penalties leading to the PK

What's failing the Jets isn't 1 player. It's not 1 or 2 guys. It's their lack of discipline. It's their poor PK. It's their garbage PP. Fix the PP and PK and we are a very good team actually. Problem is... the coach can't and hasn't been able to do that anytime in his coaching career.

Sure. Why not. Chevy - B+ . Signed scheif long term. Waited out Trouba. The players the Jets have drafted and developed have been their best. Lack of trades? Yup but basically been none all year Maurice - F. His roster decisions are stupidity at times. His line shuffling borders on insanity. His love of struggling vets. Lack of discipline poor PK and PP all fall on the coach. Goalies Hutch D - He's the vet. He needs to show it. Needs to be more consistent Helle C+ almost B. 1 of the best 5 on 5 goalies in the league. Top 10 actually. Pretty consistent. Has struggled at times but he's a rookie in the nhl... it happens. Buff - B+ Don't think he's been as bad as people say. Producing points. Soft in the D zone TROUBA - B. Has looked better more recently but definitely had some struggles early on Morrissey - A. For a rookie he's been our best D man. Playing with Buff who is all over the ice at times (that's buff tho). Very good defensively and 1 of maybe 2 d men (trouba being the other) who can actually make an accurate pass Enstrom - C. Meh really. He is what he is. Postma Chiarot Stuart - F. Bottom line...They aren't NHL calibre D men Myers - NA FORWARDS Scheif - B +. He's a defensively responsible 2 way center playing hurt and with a rookie and sophomore. He's been very good Little - B. He's good when healthy Lowry - B-. Gotta admit he's been pretty good. Perhaps he's found who he is as a player Petan - C + he's been okay Laine - A. He's 18. He's been one of our best players Wheeler B. Nice guy. Tries hard. Looks hurt. Carries his line at times. Armia - NA. Hurt to long but I like what I've seen. Needs to find some finish tho Dano. - B. likes his gam . Perfect bottom 6 guy. It's a shame hes out 6 to 9 weeks Stafford - F. Fail. He's been awful Ehlers - A. Our best most consistent point producer. Electric really Perreault - C. Fail at center. Much better on the wing. Like PLW actually Matthias - C. He is what he is. Copp - B. Pleasant surprise Tanev. - C. Hard worker. Strong forechecker. Ideal 4th liner The rest Aka Burmi Thorburn and whoever else I missed... NA or F. Basically they don't belong in the NHL anymore

When the entire team lays an egg against the worst road team in the league. .. it's coaching. You can blame goalies or 4th liners but the whole team was AWFUL.

Did you expect then to be dominating the division? If so your expectations were the problem. Injuries played a role but they are where a lot of people expected them to be... fighting for a wild card spot

Maybe a trade is in the works or maybe myers is close. If he clears his value probably goes up a bit cuz he could go to the ahl directly. I think this is a precursor to a trade

What it does tho Is opens up a roster spot.

It's becoming pretty obvious that our head coach isn't very good at motivation and he's certainly not using our talent to the best of their abilities. Laine Scheif Ehlers dominated. MO was stupid and had to eff with that so he switched ehlers to lw and Laine to RW. Dano prefers RW but mo had him playing lw. It's just stupidity

When you actually think about it... Ehlers is a sophomore. Laine is a rookie to the NHL. Petan played a couple games last year but really.. nhl rookie. Morrissey nhl rookie. Helle? Rookie really to the NHL. Scheif is our veteran young guy and he's like 23 24.

The rebuild didn't really start until maybe 2015. Bottom line.. we made the playoffs. Got swept. Time to actually give the younger guys chances. It's probably year 2 maybe 3 of a full blown youth movement rebuild

I have a hard time blaming Chevy when our most consistent players are the ones we have drafted and developed. We are a draft and develop team. Our vets have been pretty brutal actually. Yet our coach seems to think the vets can do no wrong. Stafford on the PK. Lol. Coaching is a huge problem. Yuuuge. Chevy gonna be here as long as he wants to be.

I think LA are 2 or 3 points up on us with 1 or 2 games in hand. It's not like we are totally out of it but efforts like tonight's tend to make me feel that we are. In reality we are a playoff bubble team... we seem to be kind of showing that. Gonna get in or miss by a few points either way. I have very little confidence that this Maurice coached team can win more than 2 or 3 in a row and I think in order to make it we are gonna have to win 5 6 7 8 in a row eventually

If not... guess you tank and hope for Liljegren Patrick or Hishier and probably based on need in that order.

When the worst road team in the league comes in to your arena and hands your ass to you.... problems and they really do start with coaching. You fix it by 1. Firing the coach or 2. Making a significant trade to help your D zone play. We need a defensive d man cuz right now Morrissey is really our only one. Myers would help. But... you need to make a significant change... Stafford hutch whoever else... it doesn't send a message. It's gotta be buff Toby trouba little type of player. I didn't include wheeler because he tries hard every game and since that's unlikely due to expansion draft... your only left with 1 option ... fire Maurice
