Problem is... Bombers did get pressure... Its just Glenn is very good at getting rid of the ball quickly... Its not like he sat back in the pocket.. He just got rid of it quickly. How you counter attack that is... When you do get a shot to nail him... You do it.. And hard. Glenn will then start to turtle. Problem at the LDC is they had a chance to nail him but missed... Cuz our tackling is poor.

Keep in mind... A nichols interception on our 20 yard line and a punt return to our 12 or so also lead to 14 rider points.

If it happened 1 or 2 times a game id blame the players but it happens all the time so they are being told to play off. Its almost like ppl are new fans to the CFL and didnt watch any rider or esks games when hall was there... Cuz... Its the same soft D.

I look at loffler to WIL.. American Safety and Briggs or even Miles at MLB instead of hurl who isnt as awful as hes made out to be but is a weak link on D for sure talent wise.

Why wouldnt they keep playing him? They had a rough 5 minutes in the first Q where the game turned.. Rest of it tho... We fought back and if not for turnovers we had a chance still... Nichols is like what? 17 18 19 and what 6 or 7 as bomber starter? Hes not pulled because hes the best QB we have had since Khari Jones. Because despite being down by a couple touchdowns... The game wasnt over... They scored 2 TDs in like a minute vs Montreal.. Why pull Nichols when down by a couple TDs with 6 7 8 minutes left? Pulling nichols would be like giving up or being blown out legit... We weren't being blown out tho. If it was 38 0.. Sure play Davis but it wasnt and we still had a shot.. Pull him at the end? Sure.. But not with lots of time left. We are 7 and 3... Many of our players are very good.

High school 40 years ago is a wee bit different than doing it playing pro. There's nothing the refs could do about a guy using a knife to tackle someone with either but it doesnt happen.

Im not sure id consider what the riders did by faking injuries being outcoached.. I actually think its poor reffing and if refs had a sack.. Hed put an end to it immediately. The riders made a mockery of the game.. Thats not being outcoached... Its being assholes.

Yup. D was good 2nd half. Like really good. O didnt wake up until it was 2 late tho. To me it appears that it was a classic case of square pegs in round holes. MOS on the CJOB postgame mentioned disappointed in defenses start tho and also not a fan of throwing a 4 yard pass when you need 7.

It amazes me how many people ive never heard of are condidered celebrities. 3/4 of this thread is less than D list.
