We don't know the play calls tho. The idea that lapo is telling Nichols to throw a 4 yard pass is asinine. Our receivers ate doing a very good job at making something out of nothing. Calling that dressler "drop" a drop in sask when he basically had to contort his body in mid air cuz Nichols threw it to the wrong side is crazy. Or even the Sheppard one... where the 6 foot something receiver had to dive out fully to have a chance.... Cmon. Yup. Willy got us a very good DB... a 3rd and a 1st more than likely top 4 pick... he's not awful at all. He just lost his MOJO. The guy was solid to start here but then injuries and mental issues caught up to him. He wi probably turn it around in the T Dot where there is less fan and media pressure. Sometimes... some guys just can't deal with the pressure in a football crazy market. People wonder why guys like Collaros or Harris or guys like that signed in Ontario. Less media and fan pressure for sure. It takes a very thick skinned individual to make it work in markets like winnipeg and Regina and even Edmonton for that matter

I don't think it's very easy to win back to back games against anyone in this league. Look at Hamilton and Toronto... they split their back to back. Edmonton after being killed last week lost in OT to Calgary this week. The LDC is the riders Grey Cup... Durant before that game said that is the 1 game they don't lose at home. They did and they lost the banjo bowl also but honestly.... when you play back to back games.... isn't it more likely you split those games? Give Sask credit.... their D was very good the other day... so was the bombers... difference that game was our O was just a wee bit better. And our coach isn't as stupid as Jones is

As a backup QB... Glenn Is a pretty good option to have. You look around the league really and if the starter got hurt... who'd be playing. . BC Lulay Sask Gale EDM Franklin maybe Cal Tate Wpg Glenn Just the west... Glenn isn't the worst option... I feel hes good enough to be .500 and really .500 from here on out if Nichols was to get hurt more than likely guarantees a playoff game. Our D is very very good. Would I be confident with Glenn in the playoffs? I dunno. I'm not sure with the way willy was playing if I'd be any more confident in him and really that's what its about. Glenn. Nichols. Willy. They won't be winning us games on their own. But limit the mistakes and our D just might win a few.

Since it's all speculation... here's a what is scenario... what if the bombers have decided that they aren't going to give willy his 200 K In April 2017 and are just going to release him before. Wouldn't the idea of getting something now in return for a guy who perhaps had no future here make more sense than just letting him go for basically nothing in the off season? ? I'd trade him if I got my price. I mean coombs and a first is better than nothing. That's 2 potential Canadian starters at worst backups for a guy who might not be here next season
