It's all just speculation right now with the NMC stuff, some people (Lebrun) seems to think NMC are immune to the draft meaning they don't need to be protected, i mean, really, a team like Chicago has 8 or 9 guys with NMC... They will probably be exempt, meaning you don't have to protect them.

Myers doesn't have a NMC, he has a NTC... why would you trade him? It makes no sense, there is some talk even that NMC are immune to the draft meaning teams don't even have to protect those players. If Myers does have a NMC, pretty positive it's a NTC but if he does, then you trade Enstrom who doesn't really fit in to the whole age category. I agree. He's a pretty good player when Healthy but yup the problem is he's just never healthy. If he could stay healthy, he'd be very good. I think some people just don't like him because.... well, just because. He's a good player tho when healthy, no doubt about it. Not the best, but far from the worst that's for sure.

Jets won't be trading Myers. That's the bottom line. Should probably just accept that. Myers name was thrown around by Maurice as an option for Captain or Assitant Captain. Myers really likes it in Winnipeg and won't be going anywhere. Nogier isn't that good, he might very well start in Tulsa and work his way up to the Moose, if he makes it farther than the Moose, i'll be shocked but... His Ceiling is probably that of a 3 RHD, i doubt he reaches that... and theres nothing wrong with making a career in the AHL which most likely he will do.

He will have a hard time making the Moose to be honest. Not sure if he doesn't start off in Tulsa.

I don't want to see anyone get hurt but at the same time, I wasn't that impressed with Darvin last season, yeah he had some big games, but man he went MIA for long periods of time and his hustle just didn't seem to be there when the ball wasn't heading his way. Honestly, i'm not sure if they consider him a lock to be a starter but personally I don't. I think he's easily replaceable by one of the many receivers they have in camp. Dressler,Smith,Kohlert are the only guys I'd be willing to say are guaranteed starters in the receiving group.

I honestly didn't care what the name would be but it was pretty obvious the only real option was JETS. People were chanting Go Jets Go on the streets of portage, you can't ignore that. Would I have been pissed off if they chose the name Bears (It was never Polar Bears) It was Manitoba Bears and the Bear logo would have been that of a Polar Bear. If it looked anything like the Moose Polar Bear Jerseys did, I'd have been more than fine with that but reality, the only real option and True North can go on about oh we thought about this name and that name and whatever name, It was never gonna be anything other than the Jets. Lots of those rumors of the names were just coming from people who really didn't have a clue. It was Jets all along and it was the only real option. I might have been ok with a different name tho, Cuz quite frankly, i think for some reason theres a segment of the population who think this version of the Jets is the same version that was here before. They aren't. A name change would have helped that. Teemu Selanee,Hawerchuk, whoever else you can think of, Hull, they never played for this FRANCHISE. They played in this city but the franchise they played for is in Arizona.

Sounds like EXPANSION to Vegas is a done deal, just waiting for the BOG to approve it and they will. Expansion draft to take place next June. Vegas to begin playing in 2017/2018 season. Quebec City probably doesn't get expansion. Probably gets relocation of a team. Carolina seems likely now. Probably not until 2017/18 also tho.

Interesting to note that if expansion does happen you don't have to expose 25 percent of your cap. Makes things interesting now cuz jets could move on from stafford and pavelec now seeing as tho the only real reason to keep them was to help get to the 25 percent mark.
