Something that isn't brought up much as it relates to Trouba. Trouba signed a 2 year deal. Buff has a NMC for 2 seasons then it becomes a limited NTC where he has 14 teams he can't be traded to. So... you gotta wonder if maybe just maybe trouba signs an extension and in 2 or 3 years buff is traded. Myers? I think they should leave him exposed if they cant trade him or keep him out all year and Vegas wont take him.. injuries are a legit concern. Regardless tho..our D zone play as a team is pretty poor. We chase guys around and around.... man on man style D... it's not working really.... we need to fix our Team D play.

It's possible Perreault is traded before the expansion draft and I agree that his 4.5 or whatever it is plays a role

Pavelec will play. GUARANTEED 9 and 0 vs the Central in out last 9 games. Can they make it 10? I'm afraid that they have a tendency to play down to the other teams level and hope that's not the case here. This is a game that will show me if the Jets are playoff contenders or pretenders. A playoff contender would come out and stomp the Avs. Ass wooping style. I want to see them destroy the Avs. No mercy. Hopefully they do that. If not and we lose... yeah we ain't making the playoffs

Yeah our D zone play as a whole is pretty awful and they Def need to fix that. Scoring 4 plus a game to win isn't sustainable. Once the scoring dries up.. it will... we won't win as much

He was good. But agreed. It's not sustainable at all. You saw what happened when we couldn't score 4 plus vs SJ and Anaheim. We lost.

Your memory ain't what it used to be. We haven't been scoring 4 plus goals a game. Pav was good but he's not the reason we are winning. The team is scoring more than 3 goals a game. Like I said score 4 or more and we should win. That was a really awful keep the lead mode all 3rd tho. Ridiculous actually. If not for 3 or 4 posts we lose this one. Hopefully pavelec and his 885 save percentage through 2 periods can inspire the Jets to score more goals.

Well he only plays like 4 minutes a game and there's a reason for that. He's not that good

Thorburn is also a ufa and as strange as it sounds might get a pick for him. Playoff race? Looks are deceiving because we have played more games than the teams in front of us. Need a long winning streak to pretty much be in a playoff race cuz while it appears we are right there... we also have the 3rd worst winning percentage in the conference. Problem with Joe vs HHH is HHH told Joe to take Rollins out pretty much. It would make no sense there. I see Joe being sent over to SD to take out Cena or shane leading to Cena vs Joe and Shane vs HHH or AJ vs Joe if they need to do the Cena Nikki Miz Maryse crap since Nikki looks to be retiring

Jets shooting percentage with pavelec in net is over 13 percent. It's not pavelec making a difference at all... it's the Jets scoring more goals that's the difference. I'm not sure how anyone could make an argument that a goalie with a below 900 save percentage and GAA well above 3 inspires confidence.
