Pav was ok. Letting in 3 isn't really that great. He's getting goal support tho. Good first. Garbage second. Good and bad third. All in all Jets were the better Team for longer periods of time. Copley may have let in 5 but man did he absolutely rob Perreault twice I'd imagine pav will play the ducks.

Copley Is the only reason it's not 6 7 1 right now. Kid has made some grade A saves. Blues imploding

Vegas could take Hutch. It's possible I guess depending on who the Jets protect If they go 7 3 1... Hutch could be taken

Helle Pav probably would have been the ideal situation. But... can't really predict that hutch would have sucked so bad. Helle has been fine. Bad couple games but besides that he's been decent. Hutch sucking really didn't help

I think it's just a small sample size. He's playing well but seen this before. We know it's not sustainable. Both AHL goalies are looking great this game. That Copley save on Perreault was unreal. Small sample sizes for both guys tho. 1 or 2 good games * last one was just average* proves very little. The 5 or 6 seasons prior tho. Pavelec is not a different goalie. He's the same guy. Makes some crazy saves and let's in a soft one (it's coming). He's playing well but he's played well in the past also... he just doesn't do it enough. 5 or 6 years of proof for that He's playing well but don't kid yourself in to think he's a different goalie than he was before. He's not. He's the same.

Jets dominated for the most part... 8 4 shots on goal. 1-1 after 1. Really need to fix the PK. That was way to easy for St Louis. Very passive PK. It's actually crazy how passive the PK is. Lol. Really? Last time he played in Winnipeg was last week in a 4 2 Chicago Wolves win over the Moose. Interesting. This gives me some hope but the Jets are definitely known for making AHL goalies look like superstars when they play against them. Fun fact: Copley is from North Pole Alaska (just outside Fairbanks )

Perhaps it was time to move on from Durant... but the problem with doing that is there is nobody behind him with any real experience. CFL is a QB driven league.... you don't exactly need a stud superstar QB to win but you need a guy with experience for sure. You look at the bombers when we moved on from Glenn.... You look more recently at Montreal moving on from AC. It doesn't work if you don't have a guy with experience. Riders don't have a guy with experience... what they have is a hope and a prayer kind of like bomber fans had with Lefors Randall Brink Elliot etc and like Als fans had with Cato and the other 25 QBS that started since AC left
