See. Fun fact about Matthews and Laine... Matthews was born 2 days after the cut off for the 2015 NHL draft... he was born September 17th 1997.... same year as Eichel, Same year as McDavid. Laine was born April 19th 1998... Theres actually a bit of an age difference there between the 2, Laine and Puljujarvi for that matter are 1998 births. Matthews is a 1997 birth, just born to late in the year to count for the 2015 draft. Makes what Laine did this year even more impressive actually since he legit just turned 18 less than a month ago.

Yeah I think Ghost had a terrific rookie season but, I don't think he's as good as he was this year either. I mean, the guy definitely shocked the league this year but i don't think what he did is sustainable long term. Jets need to take a D at 22 if one is available, it NEEDs to happen. Outside of Morrissey, Poolman (who isn't a given to be Jets property) and Niku, they literally have nothing. a D, RHD or LHD, doesn't matter what hand, cuz reality is that D won't be ready for 2 3 years at the earliest... is what they need to do unless a guy they have ranked in their own top 15 falls to 22, then you take that guy and pick a guy like Clague at 36. 2 is gonna be Laine or Puljujarvi. Either or. Take your pick really. Can't go wrong with either. 22 needs to be a D man unless like i said, a forward they have ranked in their top 15 falls to them (Rubstov would be a steal at 22 if he's still there)

If you notice in the latest teaser, It's a gold helmet with a White W. That's cool. The Jerseys should be similar to the original royal blues but... a bit different and that's fine with me. From the teasers and what a buddy of mine has said, they should be pretty nice. Also about the blue pants, I've heard that's not true, I heard sask is going all green tho with their jersey and pants but the Bombers aren't going royal blue pants.

It takes time. Signing FAs... it's just delaying what needs to be done. And that is.... building around the high end youth talent. It takes time. But they are definitely on their way.
