I'm more surprised about Davis as I thought he looked really solid when he got a chance last year. Stoudemire? Not as much considering he probably had a larger contract
-
I'm not trading down. I'd take BPA and look at moving 22 and a prospect or our 2nd for a pick in the 15 16 range.
-
I'd be OK with going BPA forward with our early pick and possibly packaging pick 22 and either a prospect or 2nd Rd pick to move up if Juolevi Sergachev Chychrun fall to the teens like barzal and Connor did last year.
-
Jets officially picking 22nd now. Ducks lose

TSN had a little piece on the draft and released their rankings, Chychrun actually has fallen quite a bit since his pre-season ranking... Some concern there about his hockey sense which is quite high on the JETS wishlist of things they want in their players. They interviewed 10 random scouts and i believe only 4 of them had Chychrun in the top 10. Something off there with that kid, Not sure what it is... I think a name to keep an eye on for the JETS if they are picking in that 7 range would be Tyson Jost, a center who looked like the best player by far at the U18's in Grand Forks... think he's the type of guy the Jets would definitely go far. He's a riser, much like Scheifele was throughout his draft year, Just screams Jets type of pick to me, I know LHD is a concern but... with Chicagos pick and our 2nd, there should be a couple LHD or D in general to pick from with those 2 picks, Guys like Dante Fabbro, yeah he's a RHD but... who cares what hand he plays, he could be there at 22, was named one of canadas best players at U18's along with Jost and Howden i think was the other guy. Whatever, whoever the JETS pick, I'm sure will be fine but... i'm starting to really believe that they don't go D with their first pick... There is nothing really there seperating the big 3 LHD, Chych, Juloevi and Sergachev, they all have potential to be very good, so unless you are absolutely convinced 1 is better than the other, I'm not sure you pick one of those guys just cuz LHD is an area of concern... I also don't think any of them (chychrun included) would make the team next season, i think they all need a year or 2 even still in junior... I'm fine with whoever they pick but having a high 20's pick and a high 2nd round pick also, well, i dunno, tells me they might lean towards BPA at 7 (if thats where they pick) and maybe grab LHD or D men in general with the other 2 picks. I dunno, drafting for need isn't really what you do in the NHL is it? You generally draft the best player available when it's your time to pick, will that be Chychrun when the Jets pick? Will it Jost? Tkachuk? Dubois even? Who knows, that's for the scouts to decide really. They get to talk to these guys behind the scenes, in person, see what they are like as people, I think that plays a role in who they will pick, theres been lots of fallers in NHL drafts gone by because of how poorly they interviewd or what teams learned in the interview about them, there have also been some risers (scheifele) being one based on all those intangibles also. I don't think you go in to a draft saying we need help on LHD this year so let's take the best LHD man available, You have to think longer term with the draft cuz outside the top 3, it's pretty unlikely that any of these guys are on a roster next season.

Seriously? I don't watch TNA anymore, it's a lost cause but Seriously? Man oh man, TNA should just fold already. They are done.

Oh RIC FLAIR... It looks like WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair is going to be in some hot water with WWE again. "The Nature Boy" has reportedly been detained at the Boston Logan Airport, as police are refusing to let him on the plane due to his high level of intoxication. According to multiple reports, Flair was reportedly drunk early this morning and has been barred from boarding his scheduled flight out of Boston. Additionally, Flair reportedly fell and busted his head open while intoxicated in the airport. Below is a photo of police attending to an intoxicated Flair in the Boston Logan Airport this morning.

Vaudevillains are unique and different, if they let them be who they are and really play up that gimmick, they will get over. Enzo and Cass is probably one of the best parts of RAW now, by far, Enzo is awesome, Cass is pretty good too, THEY ARE OVER, like crazy and will be for a long time because, quite frankly, they got the IT factor.. I really like Jordan and Gable also and would love to see ANGLE brought in to introduce them, Those guys will get over also on the big stage, why? Cuz they are believable and seem genuine in the roles they are playing, they have charisma, they can certainly go in the ring and quite honestly, they are entertaining. Dash and Dawson? Not sure they come up anytime soon, but when they do, (if they do), they will probably be a jobber team since honestly, outside of being good workers, they really don't offer much else.

Bombers mini camp in Wpg Apr 25-27 open to public
Goalie replied to Taynted_Fayth's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Some guys will be let go for sure, that's the nature of the beast really, if a better player comes along, you get rid of another player.. It is what it is. It's football really. I don't think they are blowing "menthol" up anybodies ass, MOS just won't come out and say they are gonna cut a ton of players cuz that's just not how he roles, I mean, he's been here what? 3 seasons now? If you haven't learned that he won't throw any player under the bus publically or even talk of that in public, then I don't know, guess you really haven't been paying attention. -
Interesting to note that there is some talk that Laine could go 1st overall and the World Championships coming up could be a huge determining factor in who does go 1st overall, Laine is ripping it up, 10 goals 15 points in 18 playoff games in Finland also playing against MEN, Matthews hasn't played in a while. C'MON DRAFT LOTTO GODS... GIVE US A TOP 3 PICK SO we can really really get a game changer... Laine,Matthews, Puljujarvi would be awesome to have in a Jets jersey, any of the 3.

Doubt that would happen. Why are we adding to get Hamonic who wants to be here and only here from the sounds of things? Myers for Hamonic straight up. Maybe add a 4th or 5th round pick but that's about it. 7th or 8th for RNH? nope, we aren't there yet, Jets will just take BPA at that position. RNH is good but not sure he's worth trading a pick in a draft that has about 40 good players in it. I like RNH but... I wouldn't trade for him at this point.. 6 million a year? That's fine, he's a center, Center and D are the 2 most important pieces, Eberle is a winger, hence why he's not worth the 6 million, he's a winger who only plays in one end of the ice. RNH is 100000x the player Yakupov or Eberle are for that matter. It's not even close actually... Who really cares what RNH looks like, Gretzky and I'm not comparing the 2 but he looked like a little weak nerd also.
-
I'll just ignore that since I'm not 16 anymore. Nhl is going to a more skilled game. We already have size in Lowry buff trouba for that matter. I'll take the smaller skilled guys over guys like thorburn Peluso Stuart every day of the week.

None of ChychrunSergachev or Juolevi are legit top pairing d men. Hanifin Provorov and Werenski last year will be better. I hope that the jets win a lotto spot so this Chychrun talk can end cuz no chance he's a top 3 pick. To those who think Chychrun is the guy.... why is he better than Sergachev or Juolevi or Fabbro. Is it cuz lists? What makes Chychrun better than Morrissey for that matter?

The original "Atlanta Five" article.

Vancouver ownership won't allow a proper rebuild
-
Ya. But Eberle makes 6 million a year... Stafford has 1 year left. Eberle is sawft and at 6 million a year would be our highest paid forward. Think about that
-
Vancouver comes to mind. Florida even.
-
Juolevi is actually ranked ahead of Chychrun
-
It's not the price. It's term. 2 3 years at 6 million sure but Ladd wants 6 or 7 x 6 6.5 probably and some dumb gm will give it to him. I hope it's not the Jets
-
Fun fact... NYI vs TBAY game 1 of 2nd round will start b4 game 7 of Nashville Ana round 1 Same night just the Tbay game starts earlier
-
Here's my thing with Chychrun. If he's as good as some think he is... why would he fall to the Jets when Edmonton for example needs a d man more or even Calgary who could use another LHD. Plus if anyone watched the under 18 tournament.. some are saying that Chychruns value has dropped big time. Like possibly not first d man taken or even 2nd or 3rd d man taken. Like out of the top 10 type stuff. He isn't hanifin or Provorov or even Werenski. There will be a good d man or 2 available with Chicago's pick and our 2nd rounder. I honestly don't see us taking Chychrun unless we trade down.... he's lacking hockey sense it seems... look for Jost Tkachuk PLD Keller to be the Jets early pick. I don't see them going with Chychrun. I think ppl are over rating him as there seems to be no difference between him Sergachev and Juolevi and even Fabbro for that matter.
-
To steal a line from enzo and cass from wwe... there is only 1 word to describe Jordan Eberle and I'm gonna spell it out for ya.... S A W F T..... SAAAAWWWFFFTT
-
No to signing Ladd. Not worth it. Jets will now pick 22 or 23. If Anaheim loses to Nashville or beats Nashville but loses to SJ jets will pick 22. If Anaheim beats Nashville and SJ it's 23.
-
Because islanders don't want Eberle at 6 million a year and I'd bet the jets don't either. Straight goal scorer? Yup but doesn't play in his own zone. Not a Maurice guy.

Maybe after the lottery
