  1. Liked cuz I assumed now is supposed to be not
  2. Keep in mind by doing this trade it also helps buffalo get Eichel in a way
  3. I expect the jets to win their 3rd in a row tonight and easily. They are better than Boston. Talent wise.
  4. And the fact that his family is like 3 4 hours away
  5. Why when edmonton just signed sherritt. Henoc Muamba magical mystery tour part 2 coming soon
  6. They don't have a 2016 1st so I wouldn't have
  7. No doubt. This trade is looking more and more lopsided for the JETS but... lots can change, Gotta factor in the ages of Stafford and Kane for example, yeah I think Kane will never ever EVER be more than what he currently is but... he still has room to grow, he probably won't but if he ever does become that 30 goal scorer.... Myers for Bogo let's say..... Let's just say we won that one big time and it's not even close What really puts this over the top for the JETS tho is... Armia,Lemieux,Roslovic Armia might be better than KANE is one day...soon. He might be as good as Kane is already.... not the same type of player but seems to be getting better every game, that's what you want to see from a young player... has no off ice issues either. Lemieux is gonna surprise some people, he's a good player and will be a very good player for the Jets. He might be better than Kane also, yeah people will crap on him but the guy has a knack for scoring goals. He's gonna be like Buff on the PP, stand in front of the net and cause havoc for opposing goaltenders. Count on it. Lemieux ... a guy that we will all love one day, a guy that other teams will hate. Roslovic is still young, he's playing well his freshman season... he's got a ways to go tho b4 he is in Winnipeg with the Moose or Jets tho. Jets win this trade now and in the future if Armia continues to develop and if Lemieux becomes the player I'm pretty sure he will be... Man, Jets are laughing their asses off. Stafford will probably be flipped for a pick or prospect next season and Myers, who knows, might be traded also so this deal might not yet be fully completed for a year or 2 still. We will see what the future holds with Myers and Stafford, I feel they will both be moved at some point.
  8. Demond? very good athlete. Decent HB, not great but not awful. Good guy. Probably one of the best athletes on this team and now yours by far. Guy is a freak for sure. Seems to be lacking discipline at times and gonna say it, lacks, not sure what the word is, If this was hockey, i'd say he doesn't have a high hockey IQ.
  9. Hamonic isn't the norm tho, he's a different kind of guy. I mean, he wants to be traded to the JETS and despite what some are saying, it's only the JETS he wants to be traded too. Pretty much he will only accept a trade to the JETS. hence why he hasn't been traded yet. He's the exception to that rule. He's also what? 26 years old, Trouba is 21. you don't think Trouba has room to grow in the next 4 years? You watch that game last night? You see Trouba dominating? That's his ceiling. That's his potential if it's fully reached and that is a top 2 d man anyway you slice it. Myers for Hamonic is a fair deal. No adds from either side. If need be tho, I'd add Burmi or whoever to get it done but... That's a fair deal. If its Trouba for Hamonic, the isles are adding, a bunch.
  10. Thing is... He's a d man who is good at playing D. This is the problem these days, with guys like Karlsson and Subban for that matter winning Norris Trophies. The Norris Trophy is supposed to be for the best Dman. not the best offensive D man but the guy who actually plays D the best. Trouba might not be putting up lots of points but that's really irrelevant because he's very good at playing D. You can't have 4 or 6 Offensive D men, that doesn't work, you need guys who can play D also. Trouba does that. He's very good. There is no way anyone could question his on ice abilities cuz the guy is good. It's his off ice stuff that makes you wonder tho.
  11. They apparently want a young d man in return. No way Ladd gets your drouin. Myers might but No way Ladd does. What if they do tho and Drouin doesn't play top 6 minutes here, say he plays on the third line and he starts sulking and demands a trade again? Right now, Drouin isn't worth Ladd, even tho Ladd is a UFA to be. Drouin right now has very very little value. He's not even playing right now. Think he's a guy that the Jets would avoid.
  12. Stafford will be sold off next season at the trade deadline, No way he's signed to a new deal. Not a chance.
  13. Think, If I'm Chevy... I'm shopping pretty much everyone besides Little,Wheeler,Scheif,Trouba,Buff,Ehlers,Lowry,Copp,Helle and our prospects. Armia also. The rest of them are fair game and that includes Enstrom,Chiarot,Stuart,Myers,Ladd,Burmi,Thorburn,Peluso.
  14. Thing is, he's 21. That plays a role. Guy is 21. His ceiling is high. The only thing i'd be concerned about with Trouba is his off ice conditioning and issues.
  15. Well, Right now, Ehlers is playing with Little and Wheeler.
  16. I see these teams as a possible destination for Ladd IMO, it will come down to basically, as simple as it gets... Which offer the Jets prefer the most Chicago, Anaheim,Florida, Washington i think is there... Dallas is a possibility... I could even see Tampa kicking the tires And it will come down 2... who do the Jets feel has the best offer, they will all include 1st round picks, So... which of these teams do you feel will 1. have the higher first round pick and 2. if let's say it's washington and washington wins the cup and picks 30th, what prospect or 2 for that matter are they offering and is that offer, eventho the 1st would be the 30th overall pick, is it better than say Anaheim or Dallas who might be picking higher but perhaps doesn't offer as much as say Washington does. Dallas shopping Nichuskin and Honka (Honka is a RHD guy so maybe not much interest to us) But if they offer the 1st and Nichuskin for Ladd cuz they are going for it right now, Can you turn that down? Even tho, their pick might be the last pick of the draft if they win it all. I dunno.
  17. And is also, what 4 years younger than Ladd? You give Perreault let's just say a 4 year extension this off-season, he's around 5 more years then... at the end of that contract he is 31 ish.. Ladd, he's 30 right now, at the end of his he'd be 36... It just makes 2 much sense to trade Ladd. Jets are not gonna budge with Ladd, their offer is probably the final offer, moving on to and signing Buff suggests that Ladd is a goner... read between the lines with what Chevy says and you can pretty much tell he feels the same way. Ladd will be traded.
  18. No. But he's putting up 30 assists probably and that's just as important. He's also good in his own zone, likes it here. Basically, my point is... he won't be looking for Ladd money. That's what it comes down 2 IMO. It's all about how you spend your money... This is partly the reason i think Enstrom is traded, regardless of LHD depth. He's being paid 2 much. It plays a role, he's being paid 2 much for what he brings. Perreault is also younger than Ladd and is also more versatile, he can play wing and center. That plays a role. He's a good guy, a guy mentor to the younger guys, all heart, plays the right way every game, game in game out... 4 4.5 million for a 3rd liner vs 6.5 or more for Ladd. It's obvious. Chevy alluded to all this last night, saying you need to spend your money wisely and it's all based on projections. Those projections include the Cap... it also includes, guys like Connor and to a lesser extent Lemieux. If these 2 are ready to jump in to the lineup next year... why do you need Ladd, or even if one of them is, Ladd would be nice to have and honestly if he was willing to sign for 4 4.5 million a year, i'd take him over Perreault every day of the week and twice on Sundays but.. reality, he's not. Bottom line, Perreault is the better value signing.
  19. I dunno. I'm not sure there is a real need for Hurl anymore or Bucknor for that matter.
  20. Yup. Right now tho, It's just Cotton and Catalon listed on the roster. Anderson is another option too. I don't see Cotton sticking around.
  21. If you check out the roster on the bb.com site. It lists 2 american RB's right now... Cotton and Catalon. Cotton is 26 and coming off an injury, Catalon is 21. I'm not sure how much Cotton is being paid but you can bet that Catalon is on the rookie contract, league minimum. That probably plays a role. Actually, looking at the roster, I see a bunch of guys who could be let go. In no particular order... here are the guys who i think won't be around much longer Cotton. B Turner. Peach. Veltung. Bucknor or Hurl (not sure which one). Hurl, for how much he's being paid, and the depth at the linebacker position, i could see him going. I'm torn on Zach Anderson, I think he should be kept around as i think rotating him and Cummings would be a nice thing but... again, comes down to cash. I'm also not sold on Darvin Adams.
  22. Cotton will probably have to compete at camp with the other american RB's. I don't think he's a lock to make this team.
  23. Perreault really enjoys it here and has said that on multiple occasions. He actually loves it here. I could easily see him signing here and for reasonable money. probably around 4 y ears at 4 4.5 a year max. He won't get 5 million a year anywere i don't think.
  24. Good for Marshall.
  25. Don't forget that SJ Green apparently makes close to 300,000 a year also.
