Scheif will get long term. Trouba might also. Lowry will get nothing close to that money. Guy was sent to the moose for God's sake lol. Why are we adding to myers to get Hamonic? Who wants to be traded and his preferred destination is here.
-
Kind of a fun interesting fact. Very rare to see this. Blake Wheeler has scored both game winning goals the last 2 games and he's done it in 3 minutes and 7 seconds.
-
Boring to watch but that's what you want on road games. Helle strong. Really liked ehlers Perreault Armia line. Trouba and buff with a good game. Really like Halischuk. All effort out there. He should have a perm spot on the 4th line. Minny is last years Chicago for the Jets.

Interesting trade. Lol
-
There was some speculation when they traded for Myers that they might eventually flip him. I wouldn't be surprised if they do. I don't think having buff myers and trouba is likely. I think one will have to go. I dunno who. What if they trade buff buy sign him as a free agent lol.

Bob Mckenzie is an insider but I'd agree that he might be guessing. Why couldn't they afford both. Honestly if it does mean moving Enstrom and Myers and even Ladd.... sign buff. Sign Trouba. Besides they are playing together now so gotta think they are somewhat experimenting with the possibility of a buff trouba pairing moving forward. Unless you get an offer that you can't refuse for Buff... cuz this team showed they can play and win without buff. Don't forget he was suspended for the final 3 4 5 games last year and the only loss was in a shootout to Colorado
-
All things considered. Lowry Stafford Scheif out... played last night.... the Jets are playing really good through 2.
-
Just a matter of time until hutch is on the Moose. Yeah that PCP line is a bad thing
-
Apparently they have had no discussions with Moore at all. They are moving on
-
It's just pointless to even talk about this stuff. Some of you obviously think these guys are perfect little angels who are totally committed. Blake Wheeler just called out a bunch of people the other day question among other things their commitment to the team and game for that matter but what does he know. Yeah, not everything on the internet is true, no kidding but... when guys like McKenzie or Lebrun or guys of that nature say or suggest it, it's more than likely true.
-
Why would he say NO? Asking him to waive his no trade clause is a polite way of saying "we don't want you here anymore". Why would anyone say NO.
-
By many people. It was a knock on him when he was drafted. The Jets asked him to go join Scheif with Gary Roberts during the summers and Trouba passed on it. Seriously, look this stuff up, you are on the internet, it shouldn't be hard to find these things. People wonder why Trouba struggled so much to start this season and their excuse was he was playing with Stuart, Well, that's a pretty good excuse but playing with stuart doesn't mean you are noticeably slower and out of shape. Trouba has off ice issues, People can believe what they want but... this stuff isn't made up at all. It's widely known by many people that Trouba has his off ice issues, some seem to think as much as some want him to be that #1 franchise D guy, he never will be because his off ice commitment is lacking. Doughty and true Franchise D men don't have that issue, Trouba does, it might just be a phase and perhaps one day he takes his off ice stuff seriously but he hasn't yet. The guy looked like he was skating in quicksand to start the year, that's a sign that you are out of shape, that you didn't take your off-season as seriously as you could have. I like the guy, but there are some red flags with him there for sure. He has potential, will he ever truly reach it? I'm not exactly sure if he will, i hope he does but... something tells me he will never be a legit #1 d man but he will be a good number 2. Ever since his buddy Zach got traded, Trouba hasn't looked the same.

That's not true at all, I'll say this much, There have been quite a few rumors out there that Enstrom is indeed available this season, That the Jets would and probably will move him. He might have a no trade clause, he does but that means very little in the big picture. Enstrom ain't getting any younger and if a team comes calling and asking about him, rumors had Pitt kicking the tires on him, then Chevy and The Jets can ask him if he would agree to go there, he can say yes or he can say no. He'd probably say yes, why? because why would you want to stay somewhere where you aren't really wanted. Enstrom probably will be moved either this season or in the off-season. I'd almost bet on it actually and if they sign both buff and trouba, you can bet your butt that Enstrom is gone the second those deals are signed. And when Enstrom is traded, people might be surprised at the return he gets, I see Toby going to an Eastern team tho, I think because of his size he's more suited to an Eastern Conference team, Why would he care which one it is really, he's still gonna be getting paid. He's the highest paid Jet right now, paid more than everyone on the team currently... He's being shopped for sure and will be moved sooner than some think.

Bob McKenzie on twitter yesterday. Look it up.
-
Buff is good to go. Hutch to start?
-
Because Floyd... that is what people with actual inside info are saying. It's trouba or buff and they get the sense it's one or the other.
-
Just more rider fans are like that tho.
-
Man. Guess only 1 guy got the part about buff or Trouba. It's not about trading enstrom or Myers. It's who do you keep between buff and trouba
-
Most of the nhl insiders seem to be suggesting that the Jets can't keep both Buff and Trouba. Makes kind of sense when you think about it so simple question.....who do you keep and why? It's not Buff vs Enstrom or Myers. It's Buff vs Trouba. Trouba will get paid this off season also.... by the Jets. This might be what some are forgetting. Trouba is RFA. Scheif. Lowry. Is Helle? Don't think so but would be next year .... So Do you keep 30 year old Buff or 20 something Trouba? Sounds like keeping both isn't a legit option
-
Buff is a possibility for tomorrow according to Maurice so he's probably not as hurt as it looked
-
Jets owned in third big time. Problems still exist with this team but hell of a game. Ladd with a quiet 3 points. Wheeler and little were solid. Ehlers stepping up big time. 4 points now in last 7 games. Kids been playing well the last while . Basically since he got put with Perreault. Thorburn is an anchor out there. Just so slow and no vision at all. 4th line really solid. Helle was peppered in the 3rd.
-
I'd sign buff. There's an if with that tho. Can't be more than 5 years. Also you'd have to trade Myers and probably Enstrom then cuz you can't invest that much money in to just the D. Sign buff but that probably means moving enstrom for sure and probably myers. Id be fine with that. If it's Ladd or Buff. .. it's Buff. But I'm not sure it is. We will see what they do.
-
Great start. Moron Maurice Stu Chiarot Thorburn Lowry Burmi Ridiculous
-
Short term pain for long term gain. This team when it is a playoff contender... it's gonna be with scheif ehlers Connor helle trouba... the kids. The Ladds and buffs will be long gone. Draft and develop not overpay for 30 year Olds who really won't make that much of a difference. With buff and Ladd we are a playoff bubble team who is 26th overall in the league. Change is coming and it's about time. Should have done this 5 years ago really.

It's all about managing your money. You can't spend that much on your d and expect to have any forwards unless they are all on ELC deals. It doesn't work and with the Canadian dollar the way it is. .. Jets won't be a cap team or even close to it. Outside of Montreal and Toronto none of the cdn teams will be. It's easy to say give buff this or that but reality is there is a cap and in 2 years let's say when a guy like ehlers or even helle or maybe a kyle Connor or Mathews even needs to get paid and buff and your d is making like 40 percent of your budget... you are gonna lose them. Paying your d that much just doesn't work. People aka fans think short term. Management at least good ones think long term. Sure would suck to lose scheif or Trouba or Ehlers helle or Connor cuz buff is making 7 million a year.
