RYJO has huge character flaws and is playing 4th line cuz he's out of shape. Jets won't touch him. 6 million to qualify a guy playing 4th line who wants to play in a big market. Think talking about him is totally pointless. Hamonic? Sure. But guys like RYJO who would require a massive overpayment... no thanks. Pass. Too many character issues there. Why is Columbus willing to possibly trade him? Because he's not worth the hastle

Jets are high on Lemieux. They won't trade him. High on Lipon too. Won't be traded. Olsen? Maybe. De Leo? Doubtful. As for Johansen or whatever... RYJO. I think it's over by the 3rd quarter. I think Edmonton wins and it's not close. The only way I see 80 or 90 points is if Edmonton scores 60 plus. 45 20 Edmonton. Ottawa gets a late TD to make it closer than it appears. Edmonton dominates

Someone did ask about Halifax as expansion. Stadium. Owner. Corporate Support. That's what the answer was to the what does Halifax need to do to get an expansion team. You can forget Saskatoon... the riders won't let that happen. Halifax or somewhere on the east coast is the only real expansion possibility. Maybe QC but Laval is so popular there... I'm not sure

Little Wheeler and Scheif can only do so much. When they aren't nobody else is stepping up. Penalties and special teams aren't helping either. PP and PK.

If anyone thought the jets were playoff contenders lol. Making the playoffs once in 5 years or so don't make then playoff contenders. This team is a ways away still. Few holes. Goaltending. LHD and LW are the big ones. Not bad tho for 5 years of drafting and developing. When Cormier and Klingberg were your top 2 prospects when you got here and 4 5 years later aren't in the top 30... you've done good. Lowered expectations. Figured one step back this year just never expected the reason to be lack of good play from Ladd Perreault and the D. Goaltending was bound to go back to normal. It has. We have less than average goalies.

What's Ladd done to deserve to get the 2nd most minutes on the team. It's being accountable for your actions. Buff and Ladd need to be treated like everyone else if they mess up and their penalty minutes vs ice time minutes says they aren't. Why do the 2 guys who take the most penalties get the most ice time? If they don't like it... send them packing.

Buff leads the team in Ice time and penalty minutes. Ladd is second in both categories. Our pp and pk are a joke. If this was the bombers... people would be demanding a firing. We lead the league in penalty minutes. If this was the bombers people would be going on once again about the coaching. Where's the accountability really. Why do buff and Ladd get rewarded with more minutes than guys who aren't taking penalties ?? It's the vets who are really struggling and the coaching whether ppl want to admit it or not... it's not good.

Scheif. 8 goals. 5 assists. He's doing his part but the lack of assists is telling me his linemates really aren't. Perreault has 2 goals all year. Every team has one or 2 rookies on it... Chicago. St Louis. They both do. Isn't an issue there. The issue is Maurice would rather play goons over skilled forwards. Buff leads the team in Ice time... also in penalties. Ladd is 2nd in both categories. Vets get away with things. Why does Ladd get more ice than little and Wheeler. That's poor coaching. Ladd isn't playing good. Apparently has a 6 x 6 offer on the table from the Jets. 6 million a year for Ladd seems outrageous the way he's been playing. People can pretend the issues are the 2 rookies in copp and Ehlers... BTW copp has 2 minutes in penalties and Ehlers has 6. But.... it's not. It's the vets outside of little and Wheeler who are really struggling. 8 goals 5 assists for Scheif playing with a guy who has 2 goals and a guy who had 3... put ehlers with Scheif again. Move Ladd down to the third line. Stafford up with little and wheeler. But Maurice won't do that because he doesn't hold the vets accountable. Never has.

Toby makes more sense for CBJ actually than Ladd does

Copp and Ehlers are the least of the Jets concerns right now. Goaltending and D zone play is the issue. 3 players really. Copp Burmi Ehlers. Those are the "rookies". Ladd isn't a rookie. Perreault isn't. Stafford isn't. Lowry isn't. None of the D men are.

Build around Wheeler Little Scheif Ehlers and Hellebuyck. Lol. Trade Ladd. Buff. Perreault. Burmistrov. Stafford. Toby. Keep Copp and Lowry together on the 4th. Call up Lipon. Bring some goal scoring ability to the 4th. Lowry Copp Lipon. That would be a good 4th line. ?? Little Wheeler. ?? Scheif Ehlers. ?? ?? Armia Lowry Copp Lipon. Ladd Buff Toby should all get a decent to very good return. Teams will give up prospects picks and even a young roster player for these 3. Guaranteed. Hutch isn't good. Helle needs to play next game. Right now I'm not signing Hutch this off season. Semi Tank. Aquire as many 2016 draft picks as you can.

Lol. The gm needs to decide if they want to be a .500 team or if it's time to trade some guys like Toby buff Ladd maybe Perreault and some others and do a semi rebuild. Picking 13 or 14th won't help. If the Jets are not gonna be playoff contenders it's time for some trades. 1 step back to take 2 forward. However this draft is interesting since every non playoff team has a chance to pick first overall. I'd be fine with the jets missing the playoffs... I've stopped pretending they are a playoff contender a few games ago. This team collapses like the bombers do when things don't go there way. It's time or just about time for Chevy to either sign Ladd and Buff specifically or trade them. If they lol if... when they miss the playoffs... I won't be upset. I half expected them to struggle this year... I just didn't think the guys struggling would be Ladd Perreault trouba myers and the D group as a whole. The future looks nice tho. The present tho? Not so much. Outside of last year where pav had his best year in his career.. the Jets haven't been that great. Not sure if people were fooled in to thinking this team was better than they are or what but.... this jets team looks like the one Claude Noel was coaching. It's not the coaching eventho I think some of Maurices decisions have been odd... it's the players... it's time imo to make some on ice changes. Give Wheeler the C. Give Scheif an A. Trade Ladd Buff and a few others.
