I like the TD is worth 7 points idea... I hate the PI reviews and think they should just get rid of it all together, I also think there needs to be a maximum amount of time they are allowed to review a call, let's say 90 seconds for arguments sake cuz man some of those reviews take forever and ever.. that one vs Edmonton, Stoudemire fumble there out of bounds, esks player touched it, they reviewed that for like 5 minutes... Ridiculous.. make it 90 seconds max, if you can't decide by then, the ruling on the field stands.

But personally unless your goalie is a Price,Rinne or Lundqvist or even Quick... Cost of Hutch plus Helle probably equals that 3.9 that pav is making... Just as good if not better too, gonna have to move on from Pav eventually...

Hutch will get a raise but it won't be a massive one, 1.5 2 million per for 3 years would probably work for him, Jets are the team that gave him his chance, he seems like a high character guy... I'd sign him to a 3 year deal at between 1.5 and 2.5 million a year and go with Hutch Helle. Pav can be bought out or traded, think he'd probably bring you more back anyway cuz he's more proven... Your AHL goalies then become Comrie and Phillips i'd imagine.

Disagree there. Talbot is actually better than Scrivens and Fasth by a long shot, He's the reason for a couple wins and McDavid makes a huge difference for sure, he can't do it all by himself but he makes his wingers better, makes a difference, Oilers have had lots of first overall picks but none of them were or are even close to being as good as McDavid. The D still kind of sucks... and will suck for some time.

They won none the less, Jets future goaltending is in good hands.. Helle and Comries numbers are both unreal... it's actually hard to believe that that was their first win last night if you actually look at both Helle and Comries Numbers Ridiculous GAA average and save percentages for both. Begs the question what do you do with Pav and or Hutch? You sign Hutch, you trade or buyout Pav and you promote Helle to the big club, that's an off season thing tho.

Doubt it. The kane trade actually made sense. Toronto trading Rielly and Gardiner doesn't. Leafs are in a rebuild. Rielly was drafted same year trouba was... I'm all for trade proposals but I just don't see how a rebuilding team like the leafs would trade their young D men who fit in with their rebuild. Makes no sense to the leafs. They are competing for a top 5 pick not a Stanley Cup. Babcock loves Toby? That's well and good but Toby doesn't fit in the leafs rebuild age group

Really good game. Empty net goals are irrelevant. 4th line was ok but don't understand dressing both Thor and Peluso. Really good game tho. Jets owned the first 2 periods and went to sleep in the third. Play all 60 minutes and we will win way more than we lose.

Actually Asper is the only constant on the BOD... so if you are looking to blame anyone on the BOD, he's the guy... cuz he's the only guy who has been around for as long as he has, the rest of the BOD members, not all but certainly quite a few of them are pretty brand new to it.
