Definitely American. I'll say that much. If it is who i think it is. I'm not sure it is who i think it is anymore tho, a few weeks back i heard a couple different names and only 1 was american, perhaps its them, I won't say who they are but... the other names i heard were Three Days Grace and The Arkells.

Investors Group Field repairs to cost more than $35M
Goalie replied to FrostyWinnipeg's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
You need to go back in time to the start of all this... Heres just a off the top of my head time line of events Asper says he will build a stadium at U of M i believe and to fund it, he will build something around Polo Park called the Elms... He's so confident of this that he actually hires someone to start excavating the spot where IGF currently sits (before he had any money or approval) Some time goes by... Asper doesn't have the money cuz Aspers never spend their own money, they always spend somebody elses... The bombers and more so the province are kind of put between a rock and a hard place on this, do you say screw it and just pump money in to a falling apart Canad Inns stadium that probably needs basically 100 plus million or so to actually be upgraded to todays standards or do you just build a new one... They decide to build a new one.. I wasn't involved in any of this LOL obviously but... this is where we all guess what happens next..... lots of back and forth i'd imagine, lots of changed designs, IGF looks nothing like Aspers drawing looked like.. AT ALL actually... Lets see if I can find the original drawing here. -
The last thing I'll say about this topic in general... a few weeks back, the riders were very rumored to be interested in Hufnagel, so much so that he had to come out and basically say those rumors are bs.... sure they might not have "talked" to him but... it was widely reported that they were interested in him, Now their goof pederson is saying Jim Popp is another guy that they might have interest in, Popp is under contract just like Hufnagel... yet no big outcry that they might be interested in them. Miller talks to people or who even knows what he did or didn't do and it's a big deal? Yet hufnagel had to come out and say the rider rumor is BS? I don't get it Riders do it, it's ok... Bombers do it, and we don't even know to what extent Miller did it, and it's not ok? Messed up man, right messed up.

I've heard a little more Rock than Pop.

Wan was Aspers guy... and still is to this day, every time Creswin builds a property, Wan is the architect. -
Some talk that While Hall is considered to be a GOOD DC, the bombers may want an DC who is a bit more agressive and less conservative, Halls big knock is he isn't aggressive enough as a coach, I could see him being replaced actually. I'm fine if he stays and I'm fine if he goes, Personally, I'd love to see a DC who is a little more aggressive on the field, Think Chris Jones, Noel Thorpe,Orlando Steinhauer types, Hall is good but, a little too bend but don't break. Just saying but if you could get a guy like Benevides or Steinhaur or even Noel Thorpe to come here as DC, wouldn't you almost have to do it? Also some talk that Benevides was actually the guy they wanted last year but he decided to take time away from Football, if you could get him this year, you'd almost have to wouldn't you? CFL seems to be going the way of the more aggressive in your face type of D, That's not exactly what Hall is known for, Hall is like Greg Marshall, Bend but don't break.

Lawless has said both Walters and O'shea will be back... He didn't say anything about anybody else tho, including Hall. Who is to say Miller hasn't talk to Benevides to replace Hall, Maybe Noel Thorpe in Montreal, Lots of names out there actually As for the OC position, Khari,Lapo, Dyce, Jarious Jackson, Marcus Brady... who really knows... I don't see the issue in any of this really, I don't believe Miller would do this without both Walters and O'shea signing off on it... and that was my big concern at first... After some thought and seeing as how they all seem to be on the same page so far, It wouldn't surprise me if Walters and O'shea both gave Miller a list of names they are interested in and asked him to reach out and gauge their interest, nothing wrong with that. If he talked to a guy on another team, big deal, cuz obviously he got permission to talk to him, if not, oh well, teams do it all the time.

Nope. They wanted Bo Horvat.

The way I see it Asper is a guy to blame, he basically started building or at least started excavating the site before it was even approved Wan is to blame, he's the architect because he's known to be a bit of an ass and if someone actually did question his design, he would defend it to the death even if he was and in this case IS wrong BBB gets blame for sure but not sure how much blame they get, they really aren't the experts in this, they are probably just going on what people tell them Stuart Olsen should probably get the most blame, along with Wan... I mean, yeah might be a bad design but... they built it right... crappy concrete isn't an architects issue, it's the contractors issue... Gonna say it, I honestly Feel that Stuart Olsen is probably the most at blame here... Yup the architect takes some blame for a bad design, or maybe not a bad design, it's a pretty cool looking place, but more so... the design flaws i guess you can say, The little things really, that's Wans fault but... concrete and stuff like that... not backfilling, other things, man that's on the contractor and the contractor alone. -
Some Rumors suggested the Jets did have interest in a London Knight Forward for sure and would have taken him if he was still available, Apparently they really liked this guy lots but it wasn't Max Domi they were interested in, It was Bo Horvat.. I don't think the Jets would have taken Domi if he was still there, Horvat? Yup but Domi, nope. I think after Horvat was picked, Morrissey was the next guy they wanted... Someone writing Morrissey off already? Hope that's not the case, lots of D men spend time in the AHL before coming to the NHL... if you need some examples, go check out the Predators roster.

Sometimes everyone is at fault. Contractors need to build things to code... they didn't. -

They ****** up. They should pay. Still 235 250 for a pretty good stadium is nothing -
What made me a fan? The players coming to my school when I was younger. They are local celebrities and having them come to my school was super cool. Chris Walby was actually a substitute gym teacher for a week. I didn't really care if they won or lost really.... I just cared that holy crap that dude talked to me a month or so ago. Picture on twitter of mo Leggett and a little girl. .. think that girl cares if they win or lose? Hell no. That's her friend now

I've heard a rumor and if true.... good surprised.

Burmi fined just over 4000 bucks for his elbow. Maximum amount allowed
-
Young. Learning a new system. Talent Is there tho.
-
Bogo has an upper body injury....
-
Maurice called Burmi out twice after the game yesterday. One for his penalty and then he said Lowry and stafford had a good game but didn't mention Burmi
-
The moose suck. Petan would not help. If anything he needs to move up the lineup and get more minutes with more talented players. Lots of players better than Postma have cleared waivers already
-
If Miller hands MOS a sheet of paper with a list of three candidates but accidently the short stubby finger lingers over his preferred candidate, is that meddling? Yes. What I meant was that lets say O'Shea is interested in a guy to be an assistant next year. In order to maintain good relationships with his peers, Wade might make the call, instead of O'Shea. That's what I hope is happening and this isn't Wade going off on his own. Hope so too. But... who knows
