Anyone expecting the Jets to go out and overpay for free agents on long term deals will always be disappointed on July 1st. Isles will regret the Ladd signing in 4 years. Buffalo will regret the Okposo signing in 4 or 5 years. Wonder if they are done now or if they are still looking at some LHD. Mathias is a very good value signing. I kinda feel jet will be shopping around Lowry Copp stafford. Interesting to note when Chevy was asked about do you sew Mathias as a 3rd line center he mentioned he sees him as a guy who can play wing also and specifically mentioned perrault and Burmi as potential centers in the organization. Lowry And Copp not mentioned

Mathias is a great signing. I'm surprised actually. Howden is depth and ahl but could push Thor to the press box and Peluso to waivers. Strait sucks but is probably ahl bound or plays the Pardy role. Depth for the depth Arctic Ice Hockey is always so negative now. It's almost like they expected the jets to sign someone to a ridiculous over payment but then they would complain also. I actually agree with this. I think once it's realized that shane isn't on, the fans start to tune it out. I also think tho that people shouldn't really read in to ratings week to week... ratings go up, ratings go down, they go up, they go down... You can't be worried about what the rating is gonna be one week and then if it's not as good the next week change things completely... It's about having a plan and sticking to that plan. You wanna know what will fix ratings? Have a good show, be consistent, week to week... that will fix the ratings... i also think ratings are somewhat overrated now a days... but that's a whole other story. But yup, do agree that Stephanie is a ratings killer for sure. It's interesting to me that the shows with just shane draw higher ratings than the shows with just stephanie.

Lots of people do community work, doesn't make them good people. Evander Kane was big in to the charity work also. It just seems odd to me, there has to be behind the scenes stuff to both of these deals (PK and Hall) that, as fans we don't get to see. PK in particular, he's a larger than life type of personality and i could see how that could rub some of his team mates and management the wrong way.... I mean, has to be more to it than just trading him for Weber right. They traded him for a reason, What that reason is? Your guess is as good as mine but there has to be some sort of underlying factor involved. Who knows what tho but theres something for sure. You don't just trade these guys for no reason. You don't trade PK for an older Weber for no reason, unless it's as simple as Montreal feeling PK just isn't worth the money he's being paid, but Weber is being paid more so..that kind of kills that theory doesn't it. Behind the scenes stuff at play here for sure.

Heres how to figure it out if it's worth fighting.. 1. Go find out if that 530 sign is up.. if it's not, you got a chance, if it is... you are pretty much wasting your time 2. Figure out how much money you'd actually lose if you took a day off work, trust me, it would be a fully day off for sure.. 8 hours guaranteed. Is it more or less than your ticket is? If it's more, then it's not really worth it.. less? It might be but at the same time, because of the whole 530 timezone thing... You still would be just wasting your time in my opinion. Unless you have some pretty solid proof that sign wasn't posted, then... you seriously are wasting your time.

Yeah well if the sign until 530 isn't posted, you have a chance. If it is, you are honestly just wasting your time trying to fight it. Seriously, It sometimes ends up costing you more money than you would have to pay just to fight it. How much is the ticket? if you don't mind me asking.
