Apparently they been talking to Ladd for 2 3 months now. He wants either too much money or too much term.. if he didn't they'd have agreed on a new deal by now. It's at the point where you either sign him or trade him. Probably wants 6 7 years at 6 7 million a year. Sorry but that's just too much for a guy like Ladd. Good player but not a star and totally hinders your future. Ppl talk about losing Ladd and Buff for nothing will do damage.. disagree. Signing them to big money long term deals will do more damage in the long run.

You're too busy thinking of the now when you should be thinking 5 years from now. Is 35 year old Ladd worth 6 6.5 million bucks a year? Buff is the bigger impact player tho. He can dominate when he wants too. Ladd can't. Don't get me wrong I want Ladd to sign but if he doesn't soon... see if buff can and move on. Going in to the season with both Ladd and Buff as UFAS to be Is not good.

Agree but disagree a bit. Bischoff Is smart but... when his budget got scaled back... he didn't do anything to fix it. You give me an unlimited budget and a TV show and I could probably make it work too.

The rookies actually don't look that bad. Petan Ehlers are rookies. They look ok. It's the scrubs and bums like peluso Hali Fraser and the ahl guys who played ahl last year who look awful.

Don't see how you can really evaluate the kids today tho. Minny is icing their nhl roster. We aren't at all. Will say peluso Hali Cormier kichton Kostalek should all be ahl bound. Maybe Pardy too. I think it does make a difference, As much as Vince and WWE may not think that most people check out the internet, most people do. I read the spoilers, if something interesting happens, i'll probably check it out, if not, i don't. It definitely plays a role for sure.

It's a taped show, unless they go live... SPOILERS will always be there. I'll admit, i don't watch Smackdown but i certainly read the spoilers.

We have a bye week the second last week of the season... MB could be fired then and probably should be and wouldn't be surprised if he is, if not, so be it... lots of time still to fire people... Generally in the CFL, you don't see many major moves until after the Grey Cup anyways cuz the League doesn't want anything to overshadow the cup game and rightfully so.

man, Some people just don't get it. A bad call, is a bad call regardless... even if we were winning by 30... it's still a bad call, it's a call that the CFL said they shouldn't have made.. the score is irrelevant in situations like this, nobody is saying we lost this game because of that call.... none of the bombers even said it, they said it was a bogus call, which it was which cost us a chance to win or tie the game.. Nobody is saying it cost us the game tho. I don't get this, you know you are pushing agendas when you completely ignore the fact that the CFL came out and said that the REF ****** up.. Who cares what the score was, this time it happened to be close... but even if you are winning by 30 or losing by 30... that call they made... IT WAS THE WRONG CALL. Man, just makes no sense really... a game of football is 60 minutes, it's not over until it's over.

If both want more than 5 or 6 years for big money, they can move on. Ladd is ok, but he's not one of the best players in the league, sure he might pop 30 and get 30 assists, he's a 60 point player now but what about in 2 or 3 years from now when guys like Petan,Ehlers,Armia,Connor etc are around... The worst thing we could do is sign ladd and buff to long term big money deals... That's the worst thing, cuz whether people want to admit or not, when this team is actually competitive on a regular basis and not a bubble team like we were last year or probably be this year, Ladd and Buff won't be around and if they are.. ladd will be on the third line and buff will be on the third D pair... Lets say ladd wants 6 years and 36 million, it's probably more tho... that's great now but in 3 or 4 years, is it worth it to pay a 3rd liner 6 million a year? Nope. The cap isn't going to go up anytime soon, the loonie is falling. It's not worth it. You build around the Scheifs,Troubas,Lowrys,Myers,Morrisseys,Ehlers and Petans... Not around the Ladd and Buffs. Would really suck if we lost a young player because we over paid ladd and buff just because...

Suitor is only annoying when the Riders are playing, otherwise he's pretty good actually. Black is just awful tho and basically kills every game he is a part of. Suitor is only awful when the riders are playing because it's obvious he's a rider prider... If not tho, he's ok. Black is the worst announcer TSN has by a mile... it's not even close.

Nope. Smackdown ratings are holding steady and or rising by a tiny amount each week... They aren't getting huge ratings cuz it's on Sci Fi but.. 2.1's is pretty big ratings for a station like Sci-Fi. It's holding steady around that 2.1 mark it seems, last week, got a 2.1 rating as did this past week but 100,000 more people watched the show than last week. Pretty good considering it's taped on a tuesday. Smackdown is moving to USA soon tho.

Buff won't get 8 years, no chance, Seabrook is actually a better d man than Buff is, I honestly could see Buff signing like a 4 year deal worth 24-28 million so between 6 and 7 a year really.. If not, I think he probably gets traded. The UFA market is changing it seems, teams seem to be not willing to give out long term big money contracts to guys who are older... Chicago and Seabrook is irrelevant because Seabrook is chicagos property.. I honestly wouldn't be shocked if Both Buff and Ladd are traded and honestly, depending on what we get back in return, I don't think i'd be opposed to it. The way i see this, it's time to **** or get off the pot with these 2... Offer Ladd your best deal, take it or leave it really, if he says thank but no thanks.. move him. Do the same to buff, thanks but no thanks, you move him too.
