Well, wasn't at the game so maybe somebody or those who were could help here.... What i saw on tv were a bunch of 5 6 yard outs, were there actually any deep receivers? Or were they all running the same type of pattern and if there were deep receivers? were they open or covered or what???

Personally i thought the Oline gave Brohm lots of time for the most part last game, guess they fell a part when we needed them the most tho, and that was on the Demski error that we recovered... Didn't give up a sack until that point and 2 players later, we had given up 2... Looked to me like Greaves was the guy that was owned the most on that "drive".

Yeah there was only the one block that lead directly to a TD and that was vs Calgary for sure... cost us the game really in hindsight... But, i guess the whole point is, regardless if it's 3 Punt Return TD's against or 4 total Special teams TD's against us... the rest of the league combined has only given up 4.. and well, we have given up 3 return TD's and one off a blocked punt.. And really, when you look at them, Last game, leading and then Demski returns one for a TD... riders take the momentum really and don't look back Calgary... the blocked TD, we lost by 1 or 2 points, that blocked punt was the difference The Willy got hurt vs Hamilton game and next play, Punt Return TD... kind of snowballed after that didnt it The one vs Toronto, we had the lead, lost by 7 maybe 8, that punt return TD was the difference You eliminate all of those TD's really and you could probably add at least 2 more wins to our total if not 3... Special Teams errors have cost us at least 2 if not 3 games, that's not including missed Fg's or missed converts either.

Maybe Big League Teague at safety or SAM, wasn't terrible there last year. was actually one of the few bright spots on D last season along with Leggett and Randle.

Penton and Bauming i think both tweeted out Leggett at SAM, i like that move and Shell at safety, not sure if i like that one but... what other options are there really Longo in at guard today for Greaves, Greaves has been awful this year, just awful so hopefully Longo takes that job and keeps it. Greaves really sucks and has actually been getting worse. .

Good Riddance to Tracey really, Special teams haven't been good going back to last year even, It's a step in the right direction for sure... Really was hoping for an MB firing tho, it's the O that is the biggest issue really and MB's O has been near the bottom or at the bottom of the league in pretty much all categories since he got here really. Step in the right direction tho, Tracey needed to go, not sure it fixes what ails us exactly but it does put a guy like MB on notice i think, I guess, Let's see what Nichols can do, if he only throws for 185 yards or so, then well, MB is a problem and needs to go... I guess Brohm wasn't awful last game but didn't take any chances, not sure if he was told to not take many chances or if he just didn't take any himself... but regardless, I think MB is next to go and it could very well happen next week if the O still looks like crap with a QB who has actually thrown for TD's in this league. I still think MB is the biggest problem tho. That O is just so predictable and vanilla... 5 6 yard outs and runs up the middle and repeat... very obvious. You watch Hamilton or Calgary or Toronto even, even Ottawa and they run crossing routes, screens, little hitch passes, all sorts of variations of those types of passes, we just run 5 yard outs... it's really easy to defend in my opinion, when is the last time we saw a crossing route really?

So did Heenan but usually it seems that once healed up they get another look.

Only Way to build Canadian talent really... but it's the import talent that is lacking or maybe it's not and on O in particular it's just being used wrong

If Jones actually becomes available I think we might go after him too. Ben Henan too. Where is this myth that you can't have more than a couple players making big money coming from. But I think Jones and heenan are more off season type signings.

O'shea not firing MB is an issue but at the same time keeping and promoting MB to coach is as stupid really. I don't care who the coach is either but if it's MB in any form that's rewarding failure and I'm done with this team then until he's done

The O still sucked with willy too tho. Willy could just complete longer passes. Seriously our O isn't good with whoever. Ray BLM willy Marve Brohm name him... he will fail . Here's one... Calvillo.. they would and have all failed under MB.. BLM and Ray haven't played for him tho.

Don't care really but promoting MB to coach would be the end of a lot of fans. That's the worst thing they can do. Fire MB and promote Howell. However until we have a decent QB... it won't matter.You were wrong before and you are wrong now, about time you started listening to us old farts when we tell you something. Sorry but that's the worst thing they could do by far. MB becomes coach and I personally know about 15 people who will be officially done with this team.
