Flordia sort of reminds of the Jets last year, good young team but seems to be lacking the experience right now. Yeah you can say Jagr but i could say Ladd, yeah you can say Luongo but i could say Buff, It's the same thing really. Florida is a good young team who isn't quite there yet. NYI have been down to the playoffs many times and knows what it takes to get the job done. NYI will definitely win the series, wouldn't be surprised if it was in 4 or 5 games either.

Unlikely that 2 of WASH Dallas Flordia or Pitt lose in round 1, having them all lose in round 1 would really improve that Chicago pick... Flordia could lose.. the other 3 seem pretty unlikely to lose tho. I think NYI takes out Flordia for sure.

Ladd isn't coming back. Chevy made that clear pretty much in his year end press conference. Said they would only be interested in guys in their 20s. Actually used Perreault when he signed here as an example of the type of player and age they would look at. Perreault is highly regarded by jets management and Loves it here. He will sign if the jets want him.

Also did anybody listen to the year end interviews? Perreault specifically said he will be playing wing next season.

Matthews would probably have to start on the 3rd line as a center and work his way up. I highly doubt he'd be ready for 2nd line center duties off the bat. He'd be eaten alive defensively like Eichel and to an extent mcdavid was this year.

No. Part of the reason guys play in Europe is because when drafted they could play in the nhl or ahl. A guy like dubois or Tkachuk can only play in the nhl or go back to junior. It's obviously not a huge part of the reason but let's pretend that the jets draft Laine Puljujarvi or Matthews. They could play for the moose next year.

Points aren't the only way to judge a d man. Trouba put up the same amount of points as Hamonic and everyone wants him here badly.

I think if you put stu on waivers he clears and can go play on the moose. The nhl has passed Stuart by. He would be a good vet tho on the moose. Same with thorburn for that matter. These "good in the lockerrom" guys shouldn't be holding any younger players back. They should be in the A showing them the way. Wouldn'tbe surprised if stu or Thor or both are in the A with the moose soon. Don't see any team in the league claiming them. If they do. Great. If not. You get some much needed vet leadership for the moose. The Jets don't need those 2 when they have buff Wheeler Perreault Little Stafford even as vets.
