Well. We have forward depth. We have no LHD depth so I'd suspect we'd pick Juolevi or Sergachev or maybe Chychrun. The plus is all 3 are expansion exempt. We also have buff trouba on the right side. Not much after Morrissey on the left. We would then only have to protect the minimum 3 D in the possible expansion draft instead of all 4 of buff trouba myers enstrom. No move clauses and such force us to do that

McDavid Eichel Hanifin are the only guys in the top 10 who played in the nhl the entire year.Rantanen played like 3 games with Colorado and got sent to the ahl cuz he was eligible. This year... the top 3 are nhl ready... the rest aren't close Provorov and Werenski are way better than Chychrun Sergachev Juolevi and even they didn't play a nhl game this past season.

Chychrun gonna drop to 12 13 14 probably. Juolevi and Sergachev will go before he does. He's not ready. Nobody after the top 3 picks are. Guys picked after the top 3 are at least 2 3 years away from being nhl ready. Massive drop after the top 3 in terms of being nhl ready.

Myers plus Dano/Armia/Burmi type of thing would be fair probably for 4.

No. Stu is the worst d man in the league. Toughness? Cmon. Morrissey is way better than stu and it's not close. Toughness? You mean those big hits that lead to 2 on 1 and goals in the back of our net. Stu is not better than anyone. He is awful. Toughness is over rated. He's slow and can't keep up plus can't make a breakout pass. He's done as a nhl d man. No doubt about it. Jets could put him on waivers and he'd clear. Easily.

RNH and Eberle make 6 million a year. The 4th overall is cost controlled and exempt to an expansion draft. They will trade it.

I don't think buff gets any letter. He's the dressing room leader but probably doesn't need an A. Wheeler and Scheif are obvious. Not sure who the other A will be. Maybe a younger guy like Trouba. With Stu.. I really feel like, despite his contract, he's probably Moose bound and I think that's a good spot for him. He can show the kids what it takes to be a pro.

Connor is a LW. For some odd reason some sites have him listed as C but he's not .. he's a natural Left shooting LW. Connor Compher Motte LW C RW Morrissey is already better than Stu. Stu should probably be in the AHL and even then I think he struggles because he just lacks speed to keep up. Stuart has regressed lots and quite rapidly. Intangibles don't mean much when you struggle that bad. Lots of people thought Ladd was regressing also and perhaps he has but Stu, it's a really rapid decline. He's wasting a spot basically and he shouldn't be on a NHL team.

Laine or Puljujarvi is a win. You can't go wrong with either.

Why is Ehlers Scheif Wheeler a better line combo over Connor Scheif Wheeler or Petan Scheif Wheeler Scheif and Wheeler are the dominant players. It don't matter who you put with them it seems. I think it make sense to put guys in positions they like. Connor is a legit LW. Prefers LW. He's a fit. Ehlers is a left shooter but prefers to play the right side. RW with Little is a good spot. Laine. If we take him is a right shooter who likes the lw spot. It makes lots of sense to have Laine little ehlers and Connor Scheif Wheeler

Maybe the Jets make a trade for Hamonic and then trade Myers or Enstrom for a pick. Then they protect Buff Trouba Hamonic. Myers plus Burmi to Edmonton for pick 4 would be nice. Take PLD. Hard to say but Edmonton looking to move that pick for RHD and I'm not sure that they would get a better one than myers

That's exactly it. It's to distribute the scoring among the lines. Connor is a goal scorer, putting him with Lowry is ridiculous and hurts his development, LOWRY couldn't keep up with Connor, Connor actually might be a faster skater than Ehlers. So you put him with Scheif and Wheeler since Connor is a natural LW Ehlers likes to play the right side, You take advantage of that and put him on the right side of Little, Laine likes to play left side, so you put him on Littles Left. It's not about which player is better or any of this, it's about having 2 strong lines who could come out there and dominate... It wasn't Ehlers and I liked the kid but you can put anyone with Scheif and Wheeler and they will dominate, Petan played with them and they dominated. The only time they didn't look good was when Stafford played with them. It's about distributing the scoring, it's about not putting all your eggs in one basket, It's about... Putting a goal scorer with speed to burn with 2 guys who got speed to burn. It's about using your talent to the best of their abilities.. Connor -Scheif - Wheeler would be legit Laine, Little, Ehlers would be legit too. Your bottom 6 becomes better because you put Perreault down there on the third line... Perreault - Petan - Armia. Lowry is on the 4th line cuz he's a big kid who really, besides being big and hitting, he doesn't bring much else, he doesn't score goals.. he doesn't set them up... Ideal 4th line that can go out there bang and grind and maybe pop a few... Lemieux,Lowry,Dano. Connor with Lowry? C'mon lol, that's just not even funny, Lowry is not the quickest guy in the world, Connor might be the quickest JET now. Why sandbag him with Lowry when you can let him excel with Scheif and Wheeler.
