Marve is not being punished, he is hurt, several media guys have reported he is hurt.. he has a huge thing on his leg.. he's legit hurt and really after last game, I dunno how anyone could possibly defend Marve anyways, He's been here a year and a half and showed absolutely nothing. The real people who were being punished were people like you and me who watched that damn game from start to finish. Talk about Elliot and all this, well at least Joey showed that he could pass the ball with accuracy more than 5 yards.

Willy. Nicholls and Davis will be our 3 QB's going forward soon enough with Russell on the PR. Marve and Brohm will both be sent packing.

Honestly start Brohm. If he struggles go to Davis and then release Brohm after the game. I'd tell brohm this is his last chance to prove he can be a QB in this league. He hadn't started this year yet so...

Actually I agree with you MOS may just go with Brohm they are probably practicing scooping the ball off the turf as we speak. Whole new meaning to hit the turf! Can you say rug burn? Brohm was decent vs Calgary last year until he got hurt. I'm not sticking up for him but really give him the reps and see what he does with it.

I'm wondering if the scouts did bring in some talent to camp but maybe our OC and DC who I'd imagine would have a large say In who sticks and doesn't just didn't give any of them a real chance.

Murphy was here with Mike Kelly... I have a feeling if his last name wasn't Murphy that people wouldn't be so high on him. I dunno man, when he was here lots of pretty ridiculous things happened thanks to him, the whole pacman jones fiasco could be put on him, he didn't really find that much talent for us either.. I'm not sure about John Murphy to be honest, He's a good scout but guess what, so was Joe Mack. People who are wrestling fans will get this one here and i think it's a pretty good comparison Back in the day, lots of people were giving Vince Russo (head writer for WWE at the time) tons of credit for the success of RAW and WWE, well, Vince Russo went over to WCW and people thought he's gonna turn it around there but what happened was he failed miserably.. Turns out he didn't have his filter, in this case it would be Vince Mcmahon, Russo didn't have McMahon in WCW and failed miserable. I have a feeling John Murphy is similar to Vince Russo, Only real difference is Vince Mcmahon in this case is John Hufnagel.

Honestly, Hurl wasn't good for the first game or 2 but he's been better recently, I think peoples expectations for him are too high, he's not the bighill or elomimian type, he's not the henoc type, If you actually watch him on the field, he's generally rushing the QB, It's how Hall is using him, he's not using him as what people would think of as your protypial MLB, he's using him more as a cowboy i suppose, a rover really, he's being used differently than how other MLB's are used, It's more scheme there, I don't think he's been that bad the last couple weeks. I'm honestly finding it hard to criticize the D when the O is last in the league in basically every category. I don't think using tackles is fair here... it's just a stat really. I'm not saying HURL is all world or anything but he's definitely not as bad as some people are making him out to be. He has a role and his role is different than that of your average MLB'r.

Yeah honestly, when your QB can't pass the ball, you are pretty screwed. BIG TIME. You can't really run the ball until you at least have some threat of a passing game... really, if i was opposing D's and Marve is playing... I do what Calgary did, I basically just sit back, send very little pressure, make him throw the ball, i take away the run game, just like Calgary did early on and i make Marve try to beat me with his arm... It won't happen. Not sure how anyone can honestly defend a qb who can't throw accurately more than 5 or 6 yards. Not sure to be honest how anyone thinks thats acceptable even... glossing over the issue really, Marve isn't good. Yeah he's a rookie but... he's a rookie who can't even throw the ball. Walker is a big meh to me, i'm willing to give him a chance... i mean, who really cares. But... it's not really addressing the real issues at all. That's my problem right now. Bring in Walker, that's fine, i'm not sure how it makes a difference when our OC doesn't even use the RB's we do have but so be it..

It's not the one signing i think that is resulting in the "im done" posts, it's the not doing anything at all to fix the actual problems that are resulting in the "im done" thread. Why hasn't Bellefeuille been fired yet? Why is Brohm still employed? Why are we picking up some retread running back when we don't even use the guys we do have, I mean really.. what are we gonna do? dress 3 running backs and give them what? 10 total carries? It's just a joke, they are doing nothing to get better, that's the problem... I have as much faith in the bombers as anyone but... Honestly, it's at the point where i'm not sure i'd go to a game if someone gave me tickets for free. My girlfriend went to the last game with 2 of her friends who have never been to bomber games before... she told me they told her that they would never go to a game ever again, those were potentially new fans but... they said they wouldn't go again. Those people booing left right and center, they are the ones who the bombers need to convince to buy grey cup tickets... They are hosting the grey cup, not that that really matters but... they are hosting the cup and doing absolutely nothing to actually address the problems. Why aren't QB's being brought in? Why is MB still employed, why are guys like Greg Peach and the sorts still on the roster, I don't get it, i really don't.... tickets aren't cheap and we all have TV's at our homes, why would anyone pay 68 bucks for a ticket to watch this crap when they can watch it for free at home. I mean really, they are doing nothing to show the fans that they actually realize there are problems, they are seemingly blind to the issues... that's a problem. This regime came in and people believed, they spoke a good game really but..so far the on field results show that they really have no clue at all. All i'd like from them is for them to actually show me that they realize problems do exist, but what i've gotten the last couple days is a whole lot of nothing... That shows me that they either 1. don't care 2. are obvlious to the fact that the team sucks or 3. Are just stupid really How can you ignore your fan base like this really... it's ridiculous. No to Taman for sure, The riders Canadian Content is lacking big time, they actually might have worse Canadian depth than we do. No to Taman indeed. Why so he can trade picks for aging veterans, i don't get people wanting Taman to come back here, Tillman i understand but Taman? Been there done that, Think we lack Canadian talent now? Hire taman and it will get worse.
