Honestly I don't think many people watch pre season hockey. I don't think it's a ratings draw at all.

Sounds good to me.. Like you, also a WWE/WWF fan... but... 1. Wrestler- Bret Hart - If we are actually talking wrestling, i'm not sure any were better than the Hitman 2. Character - There have been so many, Papa Shango was really cool for sure (hard to believe that's the godfather) but... i'll go with The Ultimate Warrior (side note: one of the coolest things i remember was papa shango making warrior sick lol). I'll also give some props to Gangrel, very cool character for sure 3. Face - Stone Cold by far 4. Heel - Tough One here, so many good ones but I'll go with the Macho Man when he was heel. 5. Finisher - Ron Simmons as FAROOQ, the dominator. That was one of the coolest moves i remember seeing. 6. Tag Team - already mentioned them but it's the road warriors again by far also liked Edge and Christian too. 7. Moment - Mick Foley at Hell in a Cell was insanity for sure 8. Talker - is there any doubt? It was the rock but props to macho man, piper and even hulk hogan 9. Foreign Object - Flaming Tables or Thumbtacks 10. Catchphrase - Tough one again, couple good ones, the Rock's "it doesn't matter" was always funny, Stone Colds whole "austin 316" thing about beating Jake the Snake at King of the ring was pretty great and i'll throw in Taz from ECW... Beat me if you can, survive if i let you.

Arizona wants cost controlled younger guys, yeah i get the whole gotta reach the floor thing but trading for Buff really makes no sense for Arizona at all, It's likely he would bolt in a year anyway cuz honestly NOBODY wants to go to that situation there, reality is in a year, maybe less, who knows Arizona could be moving elsewhere. I saw something on one of the sites that said agents of players are contacting the yotes and asking them if it's even worth their clients time to go sign there. It's a bad situation there, players don't like those situations at all... it's not healthy for them or the family really. Gotta stop thinking Buff to arizona, it just won't happen, if it does, color me surprised for sure but i'd be willing to bet that it doesn't happen ever. Toby? I doubt it also, who would be our #1 LHD.. why would these guys waive to go from a possible playoff team to a team who has absolutely no chance in hell of even competing really. Heres how i see it... Colorado trades O'reilly plus their first round pick (10th overall) to Arizona for pick 3 and maybe Brandon Gormley. Something like that. It would be nice if the Jets traded up to 3 but... they could maybe save the assets it would take to trade up that high and trade up with SJ at 9 or again even Colorado at 10 and grab another one of the d men... Theres a d man in this draft that goes to Michigan, Jets have huge connections to that team (Trouba,Copp) etc... His name is Zach Werenski, he's a LHD and he has gone on record saying he tries to model his game after Jacob Trouba from the Jets and Jack Johnson of Columbus. If they want a LHD man (Hanifin,Provorov,Werenski) They don't need to trade up to 3, they could probably trade up to 9 or 10 and one will still be there cuz some of those teams picking in the top 10 (NJ,PHILLY) they don't need any more D prospects.

It will either be on TSN or not at all, it's pre-season, most pre-season NHL games aren't shown on Sportsnet unless it's the leafs really. I'd be highly surprised if Sportsnet showed any Jets pre-season game to be honest, it's either TSN for pre-season or not at all for sure.

Totally agree that this is more about who has the most recognizable names. You look at the bombers list of Canadians and most aren't really highly known around the league but as a group, i think they are pretty solid actually.

There were strong rumours in the past that the coyotes had interest in Morrissey. So i could see them strongly thinking about it, They don't need Buff or Toby and if the deal involves Buff or Toby they better be adding something other than the 3rd overall pick. Does anyone honestly believe buff or toby would waive their no trade clauses and limited no trade clause in buffs case to go to Arizona? I don't think so. These guys want to win and Arizona has no chance of doing that. With that mess there also, i bet arizona is on most peoples no trade lists.

Well. I'm sure cfl gms will probably now think twice about giving Yantz another shot. Dude did more harm than good for his career not that he would have had one. Reality. Plenty of better Canadian QB s have been to cfl training camps and all of them get let go. The realities of being a cis trained QB. I liked yantz. Good QB for the bisons but others have been better and not even invited to camp at all. Sour grapes with some truth but mostly sour grapes That truth being he wasn't given many reps however like others have said maybe film study And that stuff played a role too. Maybe yantz was given less reps cuz he didn't put the time in the video room or other areas Gbill and others don't have access 2

They won't trade Larsson and if that was the Deal I'd say hell no. Buff by himself should get a first and prospect so would Toby.

...a big thing people are forgetting is that we always see him in garbage time, and even then, it's such a limited sample size. Nobody has any clue where this guy fits in the depth chart except the coaches who've gone over every single snap in practice and games... What do you consider garbage time? The only appearance of his that you could possibly consider being in "garbage time" would have been his last.. Well, maybe week 17 against Calgary last year, but even then, could you still consider it garbage time when he made it a 10-point deficit? Besides, if it's that easy to perform in garbage time, why did Brohm fail to do so against Edmonton last year? Cuz Edmonton D is very good. They would have ate Marve up too

Being drafted by the oilers outside of the first round was the real death sentence. Someone don't like it when ppl pretty much say the truth about the oilers. Always some excuse or coach to blame.
