I think they will offer Laurent money but someone will pay him way more. Laurent is good but if he wants 300 K.... Capicotti is the better value signing.

Oilers aren't a good example tho. Look at LA. Look at Chicago. Pittsburgh. Oilers are actually an example of what not to do. They ignored the D and took every forward available. Jets have a nice D group and seem to have 2 good goalies in helle and Comrie. Building from the net out is how you win. Jets are lacking some top end forward talent Tho. Matthews makes a difference. Kyle Connor will make a difference. Put those 2 on the roster and maybe a guy like Lemieux and jets turn around quick. Figure out the pp and pk issues and this team is competitive

I'd take Brock Nelson also instead of Strome. From Warroad. Pretty much minny border town. Actually when younger we played a tournament there. I'd trade trouba for sure. If he don't want to be here... move his ass out. That's what it comes down 2 for me. Who knows what he wants tho.

Isles would probably have to add to Hamonic. Maybe Strome... maybe a 1st. Maybe both. Hard to say exactly. But I think trouba for Hamonic is a bad trade unless the isles are adding a 1st at the very least. I'm starting to think Trouba will never be as good as some people want him to be. I think his off ice issues are very real. I think he is over valuing himself big time. Buff Myers Hamonic is fine with me.

I wouldn't be surprised if Trouba is traded but I think Enstrom is more than likely going to be traded instead. Why? Simple Math. He's the highest paid player on the team. He's gonna be traded.

I think they'd take an LHD at 4. Julo is probably the best bet. I think he has more overall potential than chych and Sergachev. Chych seems to not be progressing this year. Probably be nicer to pick first next year and pick local boy 6 3 center Nolan Patrick first overall. Think he will be better than Matthews. Winnipeg born and bred playing for the Wheat Kings. Tkachuk is a LW. Not reallya big need with Connor Ehlers Perreault

Finish last and you are guaranteed to be picking no worse than 4th. Finishing last don't guarantee you Matthews. Gotta think top 3 is Matthews and the 2 Finnish kids. 4th you'd get your choice of Chychrun Julojevi Sergachev all LHD... all a big need for the Jets. Think I'd go Julo there.

I think if buff signs trouba will be the one going. He'd get more than myers but I also think that they WILL trade Enstrom instead and keep Buff Trouba and Myers

Technically the jackets are still last cuz they have played more games but 6 way tie for last. Bottom 5 have the best shot at Matthews but there are some very nice consolation prizes there 2.
