Maybe Scott instead of Randle
-
How was Darvin Adams tonight? Not many stats there.
-
His cap hit is too high. Rather give the younger guys a chance.
-
Didn't yantz sign 3 year deal? He will be kept around one way or another

Name to keep an eye on at the draft. Brock Boeser -
Adams. Both of them. Richardson S Brown D Johnson and Bastien be interesting. No Gordon is interesting too.
-
Brohmance should be the word. There's always the possibility he is actually better tho
-
so Adams and Gordon probably giving the coaches thoughts on going with just 1 CDN receiver? Gonna be an interesting decision there, Adams sounds like he's very good but the wheels on Gordon and just his age and upside makes you think he's gotta stick around.

Banks looking to cash in. It's crazy tho. We will see what comes of this if anything.

Why Jets fans have more patience than Bomber Fans
Goalie replied to iHeart's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
I think it's as simple as the Jets have been around for only 4 years. People can talk about the OLD JETS all they want but... the fact is this isn't the OLD JETS. Those guys are in Arizona maybe going elsewhere lol, who knows. But... the JETS are still new to WINNIPEG. In a lot of peoples minds, the NHL is big leagues, it is actually, the CFL while big in Canada, not as big of a deal as the USA but growing i suppose but still.. Canadian Football League, National Hockey League... part of the lure of the NHL to begin with is it's actually pro sports, and even tho i consider the BOMBERS to be pro sports and the CFL in general to be just that, I'm guessing maybe some don't. Maybe some see the CFL like they see the AHL.. it's not the big leagues really, even tho here in Canada, it is. I think those are some of the reasons why the JETS get more Patience with people. Let me clarify tho, Bomber fans are also very patient, Regardless we draw big crowds, our season tix numbers are good, we support the bombers too. It's been 20 ++ years without a cup, I'm old enough too but i don't really remember the last time the bombers won the CUP. I don't recall the celebration cuz maybe i was a little too young lol. -
No need for Malkin. Would have to gut our team for him. If it's 5 years ago sure but not now. Costs way too much to get him. Jets aren't one of the teams who would gut their roster for him. Hypothetical tho Ladd buff Burmi plus little. No way I move any of our younger guys who we have drafted and or developed

JHomo gonna be a stud. 21 and one of the best out there all the time. Dudes a lock to make it in some capacity
-
Thought I heard them say 500 at the least but maybe not.

I'd look for a forward aka winger not named bittner. Dude played with petan and Bjorkstrand so ya quality there. Merkley or Svechnikov with the early one or Jansen Harkins who screams Jets player to me. And a d man prefer left handed with the late pick makes sense or you could always look at trading 17 and 25 for a higher pick. Might get you a top 10 pick. Should say would only trade those 2 picks for a top 10. -
Gordon screams huge potential with his young age. Gotta keep him around
-
Sure, why not. Whatever. WWE Network and Wrestlemania

Gfw and lucha underground too. ROH is repeats on the channel 90 percent of people don't get -
Hall might be traded but I highly doubt it will be the jets trading for him.

I wouldn't. -
Goossen is the future center. I think even next season. Picard seems like a stop gap and mentor type of signing
-
Ya I think it will raise capacity by maybe 500 to 1000

Stanley Cup : Blackhawks vs Lightning
Goalie replied to FrostyWinnipeg's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
Sawchuk was Def one of the best. Very good goalie. Belfour probably not as good as Terry was but I think Toews may be the best hockey player from manitoba and I'm not sure it's that close even. Billy Mosienko is another. Bob Clarke too. Sawchuk was good but Toews is just a beast. Good in both ends. Mr Clutch really. The guys a Damn good player. Here's where it gets tricky for me. Theoren Fleury.. manitoban or not? If so. I think pound for pound he's the best -
I think it's too big for the community arenas but who knows maybe a new rink going up somewhere might have use for it. I would suspect it might go in the garbage tho or Chipmans house
-
Green is very good but without much support I dunno. I think Lewis is done but stamps might have something left to prove. He may not be the stamps of a few years ago but he's still a threat out there
-
Tait and Irving have been around so long that they are bound to slip a wee bit. We need the younger guys. Penton, Bauming to step up their game. It's sad when those 2 are the only "younger" guys I can think of and even Penton has been around for a long long time now

I figure it's going to come down to Willy and the performance he puts out. If he hasn't progressed beyond last year you can mark it up as 0-1.I thought Willy played well in last years LDC. Bombers lost all 3 games to the R.R. so he didn't play well enough to beat them. We also couldn't stop the run. Did realize Drew played on the DL. Glad someone has a memory. Sask ran all over us last year. We owned them tho but couldn't stop the run if our life depended on it. That etch a sketch d really was awful
