We have 2 good "reporters" in Tait and Penton but.... really what are they reporting on. Seems to be training camp injuries. Not much else tho. Bsuming is good and I think writes for the metro or did but again no real detailed reports just injury or "injury" stuff. Our writers are ok but Def not great or even good. Just ok.

Valid point but at the same time, I'm not convinced Neufeled would be rostered as the 6th olineman if he wasn't starting. Hypothetical here. Bryant,Greaves,Picard,Chung,Daniels. Might make more sense to have Goossen as the 6th as he can play guard and center, Chung could probably swing out to tackle if need be too. I like Neufeld but if he can't stay healthy and well if he isn't healthy, he's as good as gone in my opinion, one way or the other... Personally, i'd prefer to trade him cuz surely we could get something back in return.

I think it's a cool idea but it's got a long long way to go to become relevant in my opinion. I heard maybe bauming say he has something like 20 of 500 players salaries listed? Long long way to go for sure. As a side note, Gonna admit that i really could care less what these guys are making, they aren't making millions like nfl or nhl or nba players or even soccer players, They are making well, some of them are making basically what some of us do for a full year of work for 6 months, It's not as fascinating to me to know that I'm being paid similar to a football player in the CFL.. I'm honestly not to sure why so many people seem to need to know how much somebody else makes.

Neufeld definitely has some value but at the same time, He seems to be injured lots... I think i'd let him go too if he couldn't make the team. Maybe stash him on the IR for a bit and see if you can trade him but... if not, Yeah i'd let him go for sure. I think that value as a tackle diminishes considering it's quite apparent we are going with 2 american tackles... and i'm sure one if not 2 will be kept around as insurance. Let's just say Bryant and Daniels are our tackles, One of Tyler,Dile, whoever else will be kept, if not 2. I find it interesting Oshea hasn't mentioned Bass as apparently he has brought the hammer a few times already. Once on Cotton today even. Guess Linebackers can't really stand out until the games start? Kind of like with Running Backs too.

Petan had a better junior career than Johnson, Stamkos hasn't done much in the playoffs but Ehlers screams sniper for sure.. Bishop? I dunno, he looks lost some games and very good some others. I'm not comparing them cuz that's insanity but Petan,Ehlers and Hellebuyck very well could be our stamkos johnson and bishop.

It's nice that several guys are standing out according to the coaches, the real test for them will be when they get some game action tho.

Not sure it's fair to judge running backs on practice, It truly is night and day between games and practices for running backs. We've seen many a running back look brutal or great in practice and then the opposite happens in the game when the lights are actually on.

Just regarding the RB's. I think it's hard to judge them in Practice mode. I think the real test for these guys will be in the pre-season game(s) and we will see what happens then. Or i guess we will see 1 game and i suppose listen to another to see what happens next or heck listen to both if not going to the game in the peg. haha If that player is legit, I'd imagine it's probably not someone who was in the CFL recently, maybe it's a potential NFL cut, maybe a Mulumba or Bilukidid or even Henoc, wouldn't that be something. I doubt it but... those would be the guys i'd be leaning towards. Maybe a guy who had a shot in the NFL but didn't really get a fair shot.. I dunno. Not many names come to mind, I don't think Tim Brown would be that guy.

So from what i've gathered, Marve has all the tools but perhaps isn't there yet, will he ever get there is the big question. Having a big arm and being able to scramble is great but... if you can't read the D then i don't know, I like Marve but if a guy like Yantz or even Portis looks just as good, you got some interesting decisions to make, the injury concerns with Marve are legit, can he overcome them? Maybe but... one more and he's probably done for good. Honestly, I think Marve is 3rd on the depth chart behind Willy and Brohm right now, i'm not convinced Brohm is a lock to make the team tho but, i'm less convinced that Marve is. I think if any of them are surprise cuts, it's probably marve, Him also going on record saying he wants to try the NFL after this season, well.... who knows if that is a factor in the decisions they make. Personally i think Willy is the best of the bunch by far, then you got Brohm Marve Portis and Yantz fighting it out for the other 2 spots really.. it could go anyway and honestly, I'm fine with that. If Marve gets cut, not saying he will be but if he does, then so be it. Marve is exciting tho for sure but lots of that excitement is due to the fact that it was total chaos back there when he played. Lots of improvising and scrambling going on there, not exactly what i'd consider to be sustainable over the long term.

Just saying but i've read reports from tait and maybe bauming that have said that dan west has also missed day 1 and 2 of camp. So it's not just Richards.

I appreciate the reports as much as the next guy or girl but... when some are so different from each other, it does make you wonder. I mean, for the most part a lot of the reports are very similar, maybe somebody says a guy had a good day and another says he didn't cuz he had a drop or 2 but it seems that for the most part the OPS reports are way way different than everyone elses so it does make you question the legitimacy
