If you think Chevy would trade Myers who he just got who is on a darn good contract, who fits the youth and age of the team, you are crazy. It won't happen. Myers isn't being traded, it just won't happen. Of all the guys who would be traded, Myers,Trouba are untouchables to the JETS because they are players they actually got themselves, one via trade, one via draft... 2 young big Right Handed D men, the right side of the D will be solid for many years to come with those 2 plus you got a young Jan Kostalek who is looking damn good in the Q right now and will be with the Moose next season. Stuart, man the guy is pretty untouchable too, it doesn't matter what the fans think about stuart, it matters what the team thinks and they think very highly of him, he's a leader, he's a perfect example of what the young guys should be like in the community and on the ice for that matter, sacrificing himself for the team always. STU is going nowhere. That leaves Buff and Toby really as trade bait on D.. one has a no move clause and is our only legit LHD right now, one has 1 year remaining and will want big money.. it's pretty obvious who gets traded if a trade happens, it's buff, no and if's or buffs about it really. Hall isn't happening, Myers being a d man, his value is much higher than that of a forward. As much as a couple Edmonton fans may want to think, Hall isn't as valuable because quite simply he's a winger, it's pretty easy to draft and find your own wingers, if he was a center, it would be a different story but he's a winger. D men have way more value than Wingers, regardless of how good they are. I don't get this thinking they would trade buff for a guy who makes the same as him, why would they, why not just sign buff instead? Myers,Trouba,Wheeler,Scheif,Lowry, I'm gonna go ahead and put Ladd and Little in there too.. <--- untouchables. The rest are probably fair game unless they are high ranked prospects like Helle,Comrie,Kostalek even,Morrissey,Petan,Ehlers,Copp... These are the untouchables of the team really.... so in my opinion, if you are looking to move out one of the "untouchables", the return would have to be a massive overpayment on the other teams part. The Jets are a draft and develop team, they are young, they will get younger too, They are setting themselves up not just for the now but for the future too, to trade someone who will be around in 5 10 years from now over guys who will be retired in 5 years, it's not happening.

Waggoner is a WIL LB for sure, size speed skill to play there. Leggett is one of the best safetys in the league, he will stay there for sure as he should.

One less Braley team in the league

Yup, could care less too, I think this move is a good thing and i think BMO will be a great place and atmosphere. -

so basically TSN owns The Argos now since Bell owns TSN. -
Fan anger? from who? 20 people on a message board? i mean, i like this place, it's cool but if you think they are doing damage control cuz 20 people on a fan forum are complaining, c'mon man. It was on twitter for like a minute or so, i doubt hundreds of people called in and told them to shove it in a minute.

TL; DR version - The Bombers have their reasons, they have done nothing wrong, now shut up and wait until the Bombers say it's okay to cheer. Not at all actually, just explaining what seems to be a pretty simple reason for a tweet and then a deleted tweet. someone effed up, who knows who it was, the fact that it was deleted so quickly suggests that the person running the twitter effed up.
-
Just for the record, i'm not defending the bombers at all, I'm just saying it seems likely that the person running the twitter effed up and someone in the organization noticed it and told them to delete it immediately. It seems way more likely than TC being closed to the public.

Maybe not a typo but a mistake, quite simply put the twitter person might have made a simple mistake. Maybe the twitter person has no idea what they are talking about even, i mean really. It's not uncommon i don't think for Twitter people to speak out of line, didn't somebody from a NBA team get fired because they posted something they shouldn't have? This isn't a fire worthy offense here tho, it's just a mistake it seems. As for fan experience at training camp, not sure what people expect to be honest. It's training camp, i mean, let's be real here, they have held it at rods field before, airplanes flying over head, not much for seating, they have held parts of TC or rookie camp in Brandon, not much fan seating there, you have people suggesting they hold it at st johns ravenscourt field, or heck ill suggest Kildonan East Collegiate, they got a nice field and a few bleachers. What do you expect? For them to stop practice and come over and shake hands of the 50 to 100 fans and media in attendance? It won't happen and it never will. This isn't about the fans even, it's about evaluating players, peoples jobs are on the line here. Like i've said, i appreciate those who go and that but really, you are there to watch guys try to compete for jobs, it's their asses on the line, not ours. You want to go and watch? I'm sure you will be able too, if if you expect to be treated like your some kind of king or queen because you are going to watch training camp, man, c'mon. I believe a couple weeks back the bombers held their annual fan experience day at IGF... what more do you want really... get to meet the players and coaches and all that stuff, it must have been recent cuz i remember seeing all the pics on twitter. People need to remember that TC and this stuff, peoples jobs are on the line, is it cool for fans to come watch? for sure but if you expect them to roll out the red carpet for you to come watch, it won't happen and never will.

Believe I read his mother is Canadian so there you go. Apparently if one of your parents is Canadian you can become one too. Not exactly that simple tho. Like if my mom or dad were American I could apply to become an American citizen. Whats his name. President candidate but born in Calgary. Ted Cruz? Denounced his Canadian citizenship and is now full on American eventho I believe he was born in Calgary

Derek Jones in there at cb too. If Jones and Morgan look legit Bucknor and his salary may be moved out
-
Here's where you now move an oline for a 2016 1st
-
I dunno. Think they are gonna rebuild. And I think it will be a while. Gotta wait to see how long he signs for to confirm if it's a real rebuild or just a retool
-
You know who just lost his job for sure? Dan west cuz Newman and Morgan can play safety too. Teague Sherman also in danger
-
Morgan I think is more safety and cb depth.
-
Think I read WIL
-
Gonna be a long road ahead for the leafs. That team sucks.
-
They know lots more than we all do. #fact

Who knows about the 2016 draft prospects?
-
How do you go hard after someone in a supplemental draft? Offer a 2nd or 1st rounder?
-
It is possible that the bomber twitter person was wrong tho and the tweet being deleted sort of suggests that the person running the twitter perhaps didn't have all the info. I'll be honest I might go once but work and stuff gets In the way. I consider myself a huge fan but no way would I take vacation time to watch training camp. Appreciate those who do but I think those who do are in the minority. Perhaps vocal minority but still.... if I had a day off or got off early or something yup I'd go. If not, then oh well cuz after all its just training camp to me. I appreciate those who go and share their thoughts but it's just their thoughts really. None of us really know what they truly are looking for in a player. We might think we do but we don't. But I do appreciate those who go and give their 2 cents but in the big picture a random fans thoughts mean very little.

Toronto seems likely. Why? Who knows. Maybe he's tired of making the playoffs or he's gonna be coach and GM.

I think reality is buff gets moved but I also think reality says the jets and oilers don't make good trade partners. I'm thinking Columbus who is dangling Kerby Rychel and possibly their first round pick for a d man is more likely. I don't see the jets trading buff for a player with big salary. It makes no sense really. I think if they trade buff it will be for a prospect who can play now like a Rychel plus a first and that's more than fair value even if buff Is a 1 year rental. This last trade deadline proved that rental d men get a 1st and prospect. Here's my proposal. Buff Burmi to Columbus for Rychel Calvert and their first.

Ladd little Perreault Stafford Scheif Wheeler Ehlers Lowry ??/ARmia/Petan/STemp Stempniak/Petan/Lemieux/Lipon Copp Thorbs Toby Myers Trouba Stuart ?? Morrissey/Chiarot I think they trade buff this off season. Ehlers on the 4th won't happen. What a waste really.

So TC isn't at IGF. It's 50 feet away from IGF. Unless I'm missing something and it's closed to the public, what's the big deal? Bring a lawn chair. Chill. It should be all good no? Is it closed to the public? If it is I get the complaining. If not I really don't.
