Interesting predictions by tait... Thinks the Jets will fall off a bit the next while, think they will trade both Buff and Ladd for picks and prospects... Think they will take Matthew Tkachuk with their high pick in the draft and think on July 1st, the Jets will actually sign Buff as a UFA. The other guy was talking about Scheif and the RFA's... Thinks Scheif signs 8 years 40 million,Think Trouba goes the PK Subban route and goes bridge deal and puts up big points with more minutes and then cashes in on his next deal with the Jets, not sure if it will be a 1 or 2 year bridge deal... not sure i agree with Trouba ever being as good as PK but interesting none the less, Thinks all the other RFA's will be easy to sign... Hutch Lowry Armia.

I agree with all of that but... Normally when a guy comes out and requests a trade, it doesn't really end all that well. Think Drouins time is up.

Those are actually good lines. Wouldn't hate to see Armia with Ladd and Lowry but... pretty good lines there.

Totally different scenario. Drouin went public with his trade request. That's the part that lowers his value. TBH I don't even want Drouin. He's another small guy... Jets don't really need him even. Someone will overpay for him. I hope it's not Chevy

And I wouldn't trade Ladd or Buff straight up for Drouin. His value is very low. Sorry but publicly announcing you want a trade = zero to no value at all. He's a prospect with 6 goals in 89 games.... attitude issues apparently. I don't give up much. Maybe Stuart and a 3rd at most. Drouin won't get much back

Win tonight and Tuesday in Nashville and I'll start to believe again. This team is very good 5 on 5. Dominating at times 5 on 5. Their biggest problem is the penalties and if those can stop.... they have a shot for sure. Draft is a funny thing this year. Jets could wind up 14th but could easily pick 1st 2nd or 3rd

Yup. No way Thor should be playing above the 4th line. Perfect 4th liner. But when he's in your top 9.. You got problems. Either depth or coaching ones. Watch Thor in the d zone. Just lost completely. WILL ice the puck instead of chipping it out. Happened last night twice in the final minutes. He got the puck and iced it. Thorburn Perreault Ehlers stuck on the ice for 2 or 3 minutes cuz of Thorburn. Not just because of him but he played a huge role cuz he kept icing it.

From all accounts he's the guy they are working on signing. From all accounts they haven't even talkedto Buff. Ladd will sign. Buff will be traded and in the long run.. Due to the rhd depth and lack of lw depth.... probably the right move. Personally I'd move them both but that's just me. I feel that its time to shake things up a bit so I'd look to mmove Ladd Buff Toby Even. I think Chevy and the Jets tho will sign Ladd and move the other 2.

Need to come to the conclusion that Ladd will sign a new deal with the Jets.

I don't because he's not the one taking penalties. Not sure why it's such a difficult concept to grasp. Yeah he's important but we have lost games with helle playing where the other team has scored multiple pp goalie against us. Saying helle makes a difference is just making excuses for the guys taking the dumb penalties. Worst pk in the league. You can have the best goalie in the league but if you are short handed 4 5 6 times a game... you aren't winning many. I mean really this team leads the league in penalties. I hope Chevy don't think that cuz this team has issues and it's discipline related. The goalie can only stop so many. 30 coaches wouldn't agree... 30 coaches would say the players in front of the goalie needs to stop taking penalties. Funny. Personally could care less if Jets draft Canadian American Russian Swedish Finnish Danish... irrelevant really. Take the BPA and that's what they have done. As for Canada. No McDavid or guys like that makes a huge difference

Jets also have drafted Americans more than Canadians. Seriously. Scheif Petan Morrissey and Comrie are the only jets Canadian drafted guys who played juniors and Lipon I suppose but none are eligible anymore. Last year... Connor an American and Roslovic an American were drafted
