Comrie will be ahl next season for sure. Makes you wonder if both helle and comrie will be there or if helle Is with the jets -
The Wild Card race aka hockey's Final Four
Goalie replied to FrostyWinnipeg's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
Wild also got healthy tho. They are a good team when healthy -
There is lots more to playing good d then just having good d men. It's a team concept really. Only 2 d men on the ice. The 3 forwards need to help out too. Yesterday forwards had chances to clear the puck lots of times but didn't

Pav and Hutch seems likely unless helle is actually ready and they decide to bring him up. Could see pav traded. Edmonton buffalo are 2 teams but unlikely since they probably want helle to spend another year in the ahl. I highly doubt they buy out pav and bring some 1 year stop gap in. -
Chiarot is average but Myers And Toby are legit. Trouba has struggled. Stu and Chiarot would be a good 3rd pair tho but that's about it.

Guess the jets should trade for price or rinne. Cuz reality is ain't much available in the goaltender market. Could be better than pav. Easily could be worse. Who should the jets sign then? Cuz helle and comrie are the future so what all star goalie should the jets sign for a year or 2 until the young guys are ready -
7-2-1 last 10 or similar. Yup. Dump him. Guess the bashing of the goalie is similar to the QB bashing that's been going on for years here. One simple question tho. What superstar goalie should the jets sign? That's what people don't really get or understand. What elite goalie is available or even average goalie? Name 2 guys really. Just 2.

Pavelec is like 7-2-1 in his last 10 or something like that. The past is just that. The past. He's been good recently tho and if people can't admit that, what can you say really. -

Guess it's easier to blame one guy instead of the other 5 on the ice. -

I think the bombers take Demski 2nd overall and then go o line at 11. Just because, it's Kohlert and then a bunch of unknowns really. Can grab OL later. 11 and later even. -
Good ugly win. Deserved it tho. That last game vs Calgary is gonna decide who gets in tho

This team can't keep 2 goal leads. Twice today so far

Sure, why not. Whatever. WWE Network and Wrestlemania

I don't see many big muscled up guys now a days, you are stuck in the 80's or 90's even but today? Who are the big guys? Ryback? Lesnar? Cena? These guys are just work out fiends really... the other guys they have are all normal sized.. even smaller, heck their champ is seth rollins who probably soaking wet weights 200 pounds, Bryan,Ziggler, Neville, the list goes on and on really of guys who are not jacked at all.. LOL at thinking a talented wrestler in ECW wouldn't have to be juiced, you need to do some research man, the guys might not have been on steroids in ECW but they were on pretty much everything else and it's well known that ECW wrestler had huge massive drug issues, massive, all those guys were high on drugs 99 percent of the time. Talented wrestlers in ECW like who? Eddie Guerrero? RIP but huge drug addict, Benoit? RIP or rot in hell really but huge drug addict, Mysterio? Huge drug addict. Talk about Steroids all you want but the guys in ECW were high on much worse drugs than steroids. That's for damn sure. 90 percent of that ECW roster were drug addicts.. just look at all the drug overdose deaths in ECW's history, it's tons. Way more than what WWE ever had. WWE gets the blame for all these deaths but the reality is, Guerero,Benoit, whoever else, they started in ECW and then went over to WCW... then finally they went to WWE, but by that time, they were all done really physically and mentally due to their years of drug abuse elsewhere. Guerrero tried to clean himself up but because the abuse he did in the past, it was too late. ECW was good but don't kid yourself in to thinking 90 percent of their roster wasn't hugely addicted to every drug on the planet. -

Well from what guys like Chris Jericho and the sorts have said, you find a school, several exist, not sure how many exist in Winnipeg but.. theres Lance Storms School in Calgary i believe, you go there, pay the money and they train you. It's really similar to becoming a lawyer, doctor, architect, whatever really. You go to wrestling school. Just off the top of my head some wrestlers/ former wrestlers who have wrestling schools include Lance Storm, and Bubba Ray Dudley. You gain some experience, work the indy scene, like PCW's and the sorts, ROH, DragonGate USA, PWG, etc, Japan,Europe.. whatever and if you want to make it to the WWE, you probably would have to go to one of their tryouts they have down in Florida. Takes lots of hard work, sacrifice and dedication, Most don't make it really. Couple NXT talents like Tyler Breeze and i believe one of the vaudevillains(pretty sweet tag team actually) were trained by Lance Storm. -
First time i agree with you when you say "MUST WIN". This is a MUST WIN game for sure. Have to win, need too, if not, it's next season time probably and start talking about who we are gonna draft.

Pavelec has league average numbers, that's what he is. He's league average really and that's really all the Jets need to get in to the playoffs, you don't need all star goaltending night in night out, and if you think you do, no team gets that except maybe Montreal and even every now and then Price craps the bed too, I don't get this always blaming one guy that some people do. There are 6 guys on the ice including the goalie, Lets in a weak goal every game? What weak goal did he let in vs NYR or Chicago? the screened ones? the breakaways? the deflections? I mean, not the biggest PAV supporter but the guy has played pretty damn good this entire season really, The team in front of him tho, not so much some nights, Our goalies were standing on their heads for a while, both of them, we were winning games 3-2, 2-1, etc. We weren't exactly lighting the lamp so to speak. This teams major problem is not the goaltending, It's the penalties, they lead the league in penalties and it's not even close, Buff actually leads the team in penalty minutes, To blame one guy tho is insane when there are 5 other guys on the ice always, Up until very recently, we had like one maybe 2 good lines, now we have some depth and what we see happening is the depth players (3rd and 4th lines) are actually stepping up but the top 2 lines have gone MIA for chunks of time. The team, they are pretty good 5 on 5, their possession numbers are like tops in the league with LA and other teams, but they take too many penalties and don't know how to win. You can blame the goalie, guess it's the easy thing to do, but reality is, the goalie is just one guy on the ice, there are 5 other guys out there too.. Put it this way really, we lead the league in penalty minutes by lots, if we took even lets say 1 less penalty a game, we'd probably have clinched a playoff spot by now cuz the PK isn't that good and when we get a chance on a powerplay, what happens? Nothing really, It's special teams that are our biggest weakness, it's not just one player that's for sure. The argument could easily be made that without PAV getting on his recent hot streak, this team wouldn't be fighting for a playoff spot even... Cuz the other guy (hutch) has been rather mediocre since the all star break. -

I was a goalie and I'd love to know this technique Gbill Is speaking of. Whats this technique that will allow you to make a save when the other guy makes one heck of a move in about half a second? -
Fraser I thought along with others played well and might push peach out of a job. Who knows tho. Lots of time till camp starts
-
A bad game or 2 don't change what buff is but what he seems to be based on more than one or 2 games Is a guy who when he feels like it can dominate but doesn't always feel like doing it. Not good defensively either and the money he'd get might be better spent elsewhere. When he's dominating he's an asset. When he's not he's almost a liability

I guess in 140 characters or less he could have said "Kuale was cut".

Meh, Pav was sick for the practice. I doubt that means much, I'm sure if he's healthy, he will play. Hutch did not look good last game vs Vancouver.
