Riders have lots of issues, yeah they have done a good job with their off field issues, no doubt murphy and jones are an upgrade but... the content on the field isn't really that impressive, they are an old team who lack Canadian depth, you can fix their international problems via scouting and free agency but the Canadian issue? I don't know about that... I'm sure they will be better than they were last year but by how much? I'm not sure... I don't see them making the playoffs... i just think the Canadian content is lacking and... i mean, they have a qb issue too, is durant gonna be the guy? is he gonna stay healthy? he hurt himself the first game of the year this past season, I'm not sure if he's the guy there moving forward or not and if he isn't.. who is? Do they go after Trevor Harris? Is he really a huge upgrade? I'm not sure... they have a few problems at some key spots that I don't think can be really solved in one off-season.

Helle had no chance on 3 maybe all 4. He made several huge saves especially in the third. I'm not sure that the jets deserved to win cuz cbj outplayed them badly after tge first. Not many shots for cbj but the ones they did have were grade A stuff. I'd play helle tomorrow cuz basically if hutch plays tonight we lose. As for helle will be back with the moose when pav is back.... highly doubt it. He's better than both hutch and pav. Positionally and in every other aspect. Pav and Hutch are below average nhl goalies. Helle is better than nhl average. Yup. 4 goals against but like I said had no chance on 3 if not all 4 of them. Hutch or pav play... we lose. Pav has been the biggest problem on this team since they have been here. He has 1 or 2 good stretches during the season but sucks the rest of the time. What might happen is pav is traded or bought out in the off season.

Harris and Marshall would be fine with me. Think you should be able to find a better rb than cotton. Nothing against him but he's probably the 9th best running back in the league

I'll just add this Playing against guys his own age and younger won't help, he needs to play more against the NHL calibre players, are those guys at the WJHC NHL caliber? some are, some aren't. He showed last year that he was too good to play against guys his own age and younger, he needs to learn to play against bigger stronger players... I'm not sure where this Ehlers is sucking stuff is coming from anyway, he's a rookie, he's gonna have ups and downs, probably more downs than ups his first year... but the guy doesn't look out of place or he doesn't seem like he's struggling, the guy has hit more posts than anyone on the team, if 5 of those go in, is this conversation happening even?
