I'm not a fan of the scouting either, but let's be honest - they also got Cotton, Marshall, Daniels, Bruce Johnson. Yeah. Thought I missed some. Wasn't sure if a couple were mack guys. How about Leggett?

The scouting needs to step up. Walters himself has done a good job. It's the scouts that really haven't. Active in free agency? Check. Signing guys to extensions? Check. Trades to help the team? Check. The scouting tho has really only produced bass and j adams. Not good enough Spencer Davis looked good last game of the season but he wasn't being used as a receiver. Jury out on him but looks to have potential but still 3 maybe 4 guys if you include Justin Cole... not good enough.

Well. The negative posts don't really bother me. I guess I just don't see the point in being negative at this time. It's one thing to criticize the team but when you do it all the time... it gets old and makes you wonder if some people truly are bomber fans or if they are just here to constantly complain about everything

Just check HFBOARDS for what Leafs fans think JVR's value is... It's not even close. Try Trouba plus Ehlers probably in their minds plus JVR is not very reliable defensively.. It's one of his big knocks for sure. Good contract but no thanks to guys on the leafs, it would take a long while to get that Leaf stench off them.
