Following Leggett on twitter, it's pretty obvious the guy has some crazy love for winnipeg. All he talks about, ok not all but quite a few of his tweets he does send out relates to winnipeg and how much he loves it here and even how he wishes he would have stayed here during the off-season. As for Teague, for a guy that wasn't supposed to start or really wasn't supposed to do much, the guy exceeded expectations big time, anyone who thinks otherwise about Teague is just being argumentative for the sake of it.

The only way you trade Buff is if he doesn't want to be here and from all accounts, that is not the case. From what i've heard, he enjoys playing here, he likes being 3 or 4 hours from home, he enjoys playing in this market, he's having a good time out there, ever been to a practice? if not, should go, the guy having the best time is buff, the guy loves it here... big fisherman too, enjoys the ice fishing too, the guy is a good player and a difference maker, i wouldn't trade him and the only way i do is if he wants to be traded which i don't really think he does. Want to talk about trading guys? I'd honestly, probably not now but in the off-season, i'd look at moving Kane and Enstrom. As for picking up brunner, nobody did so what does that tell you.

Hutch makes the big save. I think its time to give him more starts. Hutch is pretty much an NHL rookie. I like how they have handled him but right now he is hot and pav who was hot earlier is not.

Not surprised. Hasn't done much at all. -4 too on the season. Not good for a 4th liner to be minus 4. As for Thorburn,not a fan but fact is he's a locker room leader and very good with the young guys. Last few games the 4th line has looked good. Not a fan but constantly going on about thorburn and his 5 minutes of ice time is ridiculous.

Just a couple bad plays by enstrom lead to 2 detroit goals, the give away and the penalty he took lead directly to 2 goals for detroit.

Should be a good one. Wings giving the start to back-up goalie making his first start of the season, Mrazek or whatever his name is. Get on him early and the Jets stand a chance. Hopefully PAV plays well too, without PAV we have no chance.

They've already promised to try real hard next year. What more can you ask? reality is, NOT MUCH else they could do. I mean, what do you want them to do? FORCE guys to sign here? kidnap their families? put a gun to their heads? all they really can do is try. That's reality. Then as fans, what do we do, oh wow they signed that guy we wanted, then that guy struggles or sucks? UH OH, better fire the GM right... It's a never ending cycle really... all they can really do is try, There is no magic formula, can sign this guy and that guy and all these guys but what does it mean? That we will win? Nope cuz the games still need to be played on the field. I mean hey sask is sitting at home right now meanwhile 1-6 or whatever they started montreal is one game away from the grey cup playing 1-6 or whatever they started hamilton tiger cats.

I just find the timing of his "tweet" interesting, benevides gets fired, there is a topic on this site related to his firing with people going, hmm what about him as DC, then penton tweets that? I don't know, penton might be credible but the timing is rather odd.

The fact is, this team is having a hard time scoring 2 goals a game and are what? 8-3-3 in their last 14 games? Goalies gonna let in bad goals every now and then, even HUTCH let in a bad one VS NJ... but the fact that we have a hard time scoring 2 a game and have such a solid record over the past 14 or so games, Well, i think honestly, if not for PAV really in 90 percent of those games in the last 14, we don't win any so i mean if he lets in a weak one every now and then, I'm willing to cut him some slack, considering if not for him really, we wouldn't be where we are in the standings right now. People can blame the goalie all they want but reality is, if not for pav and his strong play, we'd be fighting buffalo for dead last in the league.
