I think when breaking down the special teams film, they probably saw that simmons was dogging it out there, I think his release has nothing to do with wild coming and everything to do with his lackluster play. What did he have? 1 tackle? Not sure that's exactly what they were expecting from him. I think if anything this kind of proves that Calgary wasn't playing him for a reason and that reason was he wasn't good enough.

It's weird and yeah I get Murphy has been around for a while but basically to me he sounds like Joe mack ish... he's a good scout but not sure he's a guy I'd want with the final say on everything. Don't get me wrong Murphy would be my guy too or McEvoy in BC but... he's as unproven at the GM level as Walters and mack. No to Taman. Been there done that. I don't think he's lost the room. Only people in the room would know that and despite what a few people say on here... the team didn't quit yesterday. They just weren't very good. There's a difference between quitting on the coach and just not executing. Yesterday the O really struggled. That's not quitting. It's just not being very good. Dropped balls and over throws is not quitting on the coach and I really don't get what people were watching yesterday if they think otherwise. The O sucked. Didn't execute. That's not on the coaches it's on the players. The talent just isn't there at the moment.

I figured when willy got hurt.. our season was done.
