This game just like the other 2 that we have played vs the riders will come down to turnovers, if we don't turn the ball over, we should win. If we do, who knows. That's really whats cost us the last 2 vs the riders, the riders haven't looked that great, they got a little bit lucky really, don't turn the ball over and we probably would have won both the previous meetings. Seems to me there is a poster (or 2, mainly just the one) who has no idea what he's talking about and has apparently watched different games, The reason we lost the last 2 vs them was the turnovers, if not for the turnovers, we win easily really. Messams rushing against the bombers... 25 carries 190 yards... Meaning in his other games he has had 13 carries for 68 yards. He's not as good as you think. Would he have made a difference if he was playing for us? No, he wouldn't have because then he wouldn't be playing against us. He's put up all his numbers vs the bombers. 7.6 yard average vs the bombers. 5.2 vs the rest of the league on way way less carries.. THe guy has had 75 percent of his carries this season vs the bombers. He'd make no difference to us at all. Fun fact though : bombers lead the league in giving up the most rushing yards, don't matter who we play or what running back it is, they all RUN on us. Unless the argument is we should have signed him so then he wouldn't be playing against us. But even if that's the argument, why sign a guy just so he doesn't play against you, guess we should sign john chick and everyone else who gives us problems too, just so they wouldn't play against us. I think the term "healthy scratch" gets over used too much. I doubt he's 100 percent healthy just like i doubt Vega was last week either. Sears hasn't exactly been an iron man in his time with the bombers, he misses significant time every season, for all the "hate" lets say that watson gets, sears seem to get a free press and he's injured just as much if not more. Well, first of all, and i'll just say this because that's really all you need to know, Ehlers can't be sent down to the AHL this season, it's NHL or Junior for him. He's too young to play in the AHL.. it's junior or NHL for him, no St Johns for him cuz he's not eligible to go to St Johns.

The other thing is, those under 30's, heck let's say under 40's even, 35 to be fair crowd, they will have families of their own and kids of their own and just like what happened to most of us, our parents were fans so in a way it made us fans too, our kids will become fans too. It's a never ending cycle really lol.

I'm not sure how accurate that CFL News twitter feed is but... just based on nothing but rumours or a gut feeling, i feel that it's only a matter of time before the argos move in to BMO field, probably not until it's upgraded so not next season but the season after but I truly feel it's just a matter of time. You won't see Morrissey at the world Juniors because he will be on the JETS. He's the one guy i think this year who is guarateed to make the Jets. I think He's ready and if you follow his twitter account, he's been training and busting his ass this whole off season, really expect him to make the team out of camp and stick.. He's very very good. Nate Mckinnon was asked a while ago, if he was the GM of a team and he could pick any player in his draft year other than himself, who would he pick and he said Josh Morrissey. Morrissey i bet was close last year and didn't look out of place, I'll say this too, there is a reason the Jets called him up to st johns for the ice caps playoff run and didn't call up guys like petan and comrie. Because Josh is ready now to step in. He didn't look out of place at all. I'm gonna go as far to say that he could be rookie of the year this season.

Don't think any other team would trade for watson, even when he was healthy...Cuz he can't stay healthy so trading him for a NI oline, which teams trades good NI olinemen during the season? Especially for chronically injured receivers? NONE. Watson for SJ Green and a Pick, probably have to be Watson plus and a pick for SJ Green.

@MorningBigBlue Not quite that simple, unfortunately! My guess, it means the league needs to approve them and probably won't. I don't think this is purely a bombers choice at all, i think the league tells them they can't always wear them. The unfortunately part at the end suggests they would definitely like to wear them more, it leads me to believe that their hands are a bit tied up though by the league.

Interesting to see some of the other choices... McCallum seems to get the NOD from most of them for the kicker spot. Guess that's just based on ??reputation?? Never mind, according to the bc lions stats section on their website, McCallum is 24/25. Only missed one all year.

Also agree with the earlier comment about Johnson being jobbed a bit too, He's been pretty darn shut down back there. If i were to rank the DB's right now, Johnson may be ahead of Randle as he is a CFL rookie playing a spot that CFL rookies normally don't play.

Messam isn't even on the field all the time, he's not even their number 1 back, ford or allen is, i think it's ford but who really knows. Went No because, really, just make the tackle, execute the play, be in the right spot and it doesn't really matter who is back there. Funny thing is, Sask didn't really have much yards running against us last game up until that final drive, we actually did pretty well vs the run last game. That last drive was where sask gained all there rushing yards though not all but... Sask had 160 yards rushing, 4 of those yards were when sunseri was in the game Durant had 3 for 28.. all those were on the last drive Allen had 7 for 38, 15 of that 38 was on the last drive when he scored Ford had 7 for 26, wasn't really used on that last drive was he? Messam had 6 runs for 64 yards.. Probably 20 on the last drive You take away the riders last drive and the bombers actually did pretty well vs the run.

Gonna say it, may not be popular but #randleisland has been invaded more than once this season for sure. Leggett is definitely not getting much love, dude is a beast out there. Agree that Lirim is being jobbed, has 2 misses all year and both have hit the goal post.
