  1. willy just had a sprained ankle apparently, those things are day to day. I've had a couple from playing hockey, one day it's fine, the next day you can't walk, i'm sure if the hockey i played was in the pros and i was being paid to do it, i could have taped it up too and played but it wasn't right.
  2. Got an interesting response back when i asked about the PI call, i could honestly care less about the offsides, that's getting too ridiculous but the tweet back from the PI call @Thewpgboy I agree. That was pass interference. Command centre has set NO standard whatsoever on challengeable DPI though. #CFL
  3. CFL News @CFL_News A few missed illegal blocks on a punt return TD in the Labour Day Classic? https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=ILqfryIfx_4 … via @YouTube #CFL #Riders #Bombers Yet no mention about all the holds, offsides and all the stuff the riders got away with.
  4. says one of the guys who just cant admit he was wrong wrong about what exactly? that we shouldn't have signed messam? If you think for one second that Messam does the same behind our oline as he has done behind sask oline, you are kidding me, he's not even their number 1 running back, THe guy sat unsigned for 2 3 weeks. Should we have signed him? I don't think so cuz i don't think he'd make that much of a difference behind our oline. Messams stats for this season 38 rushing attempts for 258 yards. Messams rushing against the bombers... 25 carries 190 yards... Meaning in his other games he has had 13 carries for 68 yards. He's not as good as you think. Would he have made a difference if he was playing for us? No, he wouldn't have because then he wouldn't be playing against us. He's put up all his numbers vs the bombers. 7.6 yard average vs the bombers. 5.2 vs the rest of the league on way way less carries.. THe guy has had 75 percent of his carries this season vs the bombers. He'd make no difference to us at all. Fun fact though : bombers lead the league in giving up the most rushing yards, don't matter who we play or what running back it is, they all RUN on us. Unless the argument is we should have signed him so then he wouldn't be playing against us. But even if that's the argument, why sign a guy just so he doesn't play against you, guess we should sign john chick and everyone else who gives us problems too, just so they wouldn't play against us.
  5. If you can sit through it, just received confirmation that the coaches show is indeed tonight from 7-8 pm on CJOB so i'd imagine that would be an interesting one to listen too.
  6. wow 2 needles and a metal spoon too? Dude is crazy, he's shooting that stuff, man that's pretty hardcore. Smoking it is apparently bad enough as is sniffing it but shooting it in to his veins directly? Damn, probably lucky he got caught cuz he could have easily been killed doing that.
  7. Did a little research and found this Bob Irving September 02, 2014 03:58 pm Winnipeg Blue Bomber head coach Mike O’Shea tells CJOB that quarterback Drew Willy was in for treatment on his injured ankle Monday and should be good to go for Sunday’s rematch with the Sask. Roughriders at Investors Group Field. Willy sprained his ankle during Sunday’s 35-30 loss in Regina. But O’Shea says middle-linebacker Ian Wild is being examined by club doctors and is unlikely to play in the Banjo Bowl.
  8. Just thought i'd point this out, The esks are 5-0 vs the east, they are 2-2 vs the west.. Much like the bombers, they are kind of a smoke and mirrors team too, not as good as some think but on the right track to be a good team in the future Bombers record is no better though, 1-3 vs the west, 5-1 vs the east. Every team has had 1 bye week already though, the bombers have not.
  9. Even #randleisland has been invaded a few times this season, no db is perfect, they will all get beat at times. We have a very good defensive backfield. It's not just one guy, it's all of them, if there was one player that could be upgraded back there, its bucknor and even he has played pretty well all things considered. Teams aren't exactly lighting it up passing against us. Tells you our DB'S are pretty darn good.
  10. In all seriousness, I wonder how long he has been doing this for? Wonder if it just started? Does he have problems in his life? Is he having a hard time accepting his football career is over? Marriage issues? It's an unfortunate situation here, hopefully more facts come out as to why he felt the need to be doing this and for how long. If it's been going on a while and he played up here last season, that won't look good on the CFL.
  11. Get the strong feeling that we are going to hear the phrase "not enough evidence to over turn the call" quite a bit from now on. It's the CFL's way of not making the refs look like total morons.
  12. Makes sense. I heard a rumour that Max Hall joined Instagram, Apparently he thought it was instantly going to give him a gram.
  13. Dude was benched and lost his starting job after the first game of the season where Hamilton gave up like 10 or 11 sacks to SASK... how does he help again?
  14. If we had this guy, If we had that guy... IF IF IF,
  15. the east had to win, they were playing each other, this was a crap game and a western team would have destroyed both those teams today. The east ain't getting better, they are the same, they are just playing themselves now. 13-12 crap game.
  16. 1-0 at TIM HORTONS FIELD... what an observation by black.
  17. When someone equates me being a bandwagon fan for calling out our coach for a bad call I don't give said person much credit.why was it a bad call? What would you be saying if we went for it on 3rd and a long 1 and got stuffed? that it was a bad call to go for it and we should have kicked the fg? I would have said we deserve to lose. If you can't make a yard in the CFL it's time to make changes. The defence has to line up 1 yard away for Christ sake. yeah so damned if we do, damned if we don't.

  19. wow nice black, AND 50 K FOR RICKY RAY Must have thought of that all by himself... THis is definitely not a labour day classic that's for sure.
  20. Just saying dude, you have 25 posts and those 25 posts are all crapping all over the team and O'shea. What do you expect people to think? The thread title is a joke and immature and just flat out wrong and uninformed. .
  21. Ray has had i'd say about 5 pretty blatant drops... Also the hamilton D showed up to play in the first quarter more specifically but RAY has not been getting any help at all with the drops.
  22. and we should care what you say because........? lol. i dunno, its as if we all signed up for a discussion forum or something. weird hey? for sure but... how many times are you gonna say the same thing? People said in chat that you were going on and on too, i wasn't there and the reason i don't go on chat during a game is because of posters like yourself or roadgriller who try to take over, but there comes a time where it's enough really, discussions are nice, repeating things constantly gets old, the thread title? it's a joke, it has to be, I'll bet you are taking a lot of heat for being a bandwagon jumper.
  23. I'm not sure actually but, the point was, it doesn't matter who the running back or team is, they all run on us, we can't stop the run, teams know this, teams with power running backs like sask and Toronto and Edmonton for that matter have run all game on us and we couldn't stop them.. The book is out on our d, They are actually half decent against the pass, actually a pretty good D but we can't do anything to stop the run, This is a problem and it's an ETCH scheme problem.. Don't matter which players we have out there, it's all about the scheme and the scheme we run, we are vulnerable to the run. Isn't that the book on Etch though? Decent against the pass, terrible against the run? Pretty sure this was the biggest fear some people had when ETCH was hired, he pretty much doesn't care about the run, sets the team up to fail versus the run, the schemes are not designed to stop the run, too much over thinking "mad scientist" stuff, Don't get me wrong though, i think the D has kept us in a few games this year and even won a few games for us too but they are very very very vulnerable vs teams who have bigger running backs. We contained Ford pretty good, we contain running backs like ford pretty good but you put in a guy like Messam or Allen (really just had one run yesterday that went for yards though) or Slaton or a guy like Steele or Thomas in Edmonton and we can't stop them. We are too small and I'm not gonna blame the players for that, It's the D coordinator who puts them in those positions where they are destined to fail.
  24. ray pretty much picked up 90 yards there on that last drive Berman and Saunders were much better than black and forde.
