Bet you can't do it, There aren't many.. That's what some need to redneckonize... Seriously just 3, but if you do name those 3, you have to explain why they are such superstars and if they are better than Denmark Kelly and Moore and what makes them better than those 3 i mentioned who are our starters. You do realize Romby is just depth right... Whats the issue there? Cuz he had a bad game where you think a fumble cost us oh so dearly? LOL, would you have changed your mind about him a bit if Howard didn't get the penalty cuz guess what, that was Bryant who scored that TD that didn't count. Just out of curiosity is it possible for you to reply to a post without doing it in a condescending tone? Every time I read one of your replies, you sound mad. That's not really my problem on how you decide to read other peoples posts. Maybe what i'd suggest is just read in a normal tone.

The only real question at this time I'd have for Walters is, Why don't the blue bombers ban these hacks like Friesen from asking questions at these press conferences or better yet, completely from the building? Kyle, do you find it embarrassing listening to the press conferences and hearing the same stupid dumb questions day after day? Do you think Friesen is a massive troll? Did Paul Friesen expect us to win 5 out of our first 8 games? Did anybody?

Hindsight makes things seem so much worse than they actually were at the time. That's all i will say.

Been following the league for about 25 years now and lots of these names some of you are mentioning, NO CLUE. Guess I'm one of the younger ones on the forum?? I dunno but honestly no clue, In my time, i'd have to say the Gliebermans were the worst owners... I've heard some of the names (skalbania is one), Not sure why that name seems familiar though, Maybe from some of you guys mentioning it before? I dunno, Did he do something else also? But yeah Gliebermans in Ottawa by far... Just a gong show there with them from what i remember, Very very young at that time though, Don't really consider having on field success (their only .500 season in 15 years) because of the owners, the owners are the reason that team went under from my recollection... Can't put Braley up there for that reason, Dude saved a couple teams from going under so for that and that alone, he's not one of the worst, He might be one of the best actually, from all accounts he's very hands off... Can i nominate the Bombers BOD from about 10 years ago to about 1 year ago? LOL, they were pretty much a joke for a long time, seemed to have turned the corner a bit though this season but it's still early but they seemed very very hands on for a long time.

The name bar looks like a really bad photoshop of some kind.. Just brutal, don't mind the Jersey there itself though. Actually, i wonder if you can peel the name bar apart and inside is a band-aid cuz that's what it actually looks like.

I disagree with the notion that bomber fans are bi-polar, never mind the fact that bi-polar is actually a legit disease and isn't a good disease either, yup let's make fun of mental illness, awesome, but regardless of that... It's not bomber fans, it's band wagon "fans" and Winnipeg has lots of those, when the team is doing well, you still have the naysayers around, when the team is sucking, there is just more of them, It is what it is, this isn't a Winnipeg exclusive thing, Sports fans in general, name the city and sport jump on and off the bandwagon so much it's insane, breaking ankles week to week jumping back on and off... It is what it is. Just so happens when we win, these forums seems less active, when we lose, man, everybody and their mothers comment on everything... I'm pretty convinced that we have a few bandwagon fans on this forum too and it's pretty apparent after losses who they are.. It's the same guy (s) every time, not calling anyone out, i'm sure we could all guess who they are rather easily but once again, it is what it is... Our media are pretty bandwagon ish too, One week it's the bombers are the best, next week, the whole "bumbling" blue bombers thing is back again... The one thing i will keep saying this season until i'm blue in the face is how many of us actually predicted they would be 5-3 right now.. Hell the worst we can be 1/2 way through the season is 5-4.. Good chance we are actually 6-3 even.. Who honestly thought that? I consider this season year 1 of a re-build of sorts, we have some pieces, we need some more... and unfortunately, one of those pieces we need is an OLINE, we have a couple good ones (i'll call them the Canadians), we have some bad ones too, need help, it's gonna take patience and drafting.. One more thing, anyone who is going on about the teams effort last night or any game so far this season (minus the edmonton game and even then i thought they competed, they just really couldn't catch a ball or a break really that game) is obviously just a troll of some kind... The effort is there, that's the one thing i've definitely noticed, this team tries and it tries hard and really it never gives up, did they give up last night? I don't think so, i just think the short week caught up to them a bit later in the game, 4th quarter in particular, there is no lack of effort, this team definitely has heart and definitely shows effort week in week out, anyone who disagrees, you should watch the montreal and hamilton games again and tell me this team doesn't bring it until the end... I think what is annoying is all the bs that people claim after losses, the lack of effort stuff, it's all just BS really... the "should have signed that guy" stuff, the "should cut this guy" stuff... It's just crazy... Sometimes i wonder if some people have had a few too many adult beverages while watching some games cuz quite honestly, Reading a few comments, I really am not sure what games some people have been watching.. 5-3.. Who would have thought it.... Not a damn person. They lose a couple in a row and the sky is falling? BS. Guess the one thing everyone needs to remember is fan is short for "fanatic". The "fanatics" all come out, especially after a loss.

That was the first game of the year really where the D actually didn't play very good and even then, they were still in it until the 4th really.. IMO though the wheels fell off in the last minute or so of the first, the time count penalty and then shank by lirim and touchdown by the argos was when i started saying, well.. crap, 5-3 it is... We got some holes, for sure, every team does... OL, Run game (go hand in hand i'm sure), lack of run D (that's an etch issue) but up until this past week really, didn't really hurt us, i know some people have gone on and on about Messam but bombers lost to sask because they turned the ball over 6 times, not cuz messam was able to run, 17 or 20 points off turnovers vs sask and we lost by 6... yeah we beat ourselves vs sask. Last night though, it was pretty obvious by the 4th quarter, late third, Our D was gassed... Like i said, Last night was what i'd consider the first really bad game the D has played all year, as a whole... prior to last night, they have been pretty damn solid actually, sure they give up yards but its the old bend but don't break d, up until last night, they bent but never broke, last night they broke. It is what it is. 5-3 is still better than everyone on this forum thought prior to the season, is the sky falling? I don't think so, do we have some issues? you bet. are those issues fixable? I think some are and some aren't right now.. the Oline issue is something that will take time to fix.

D got 2 turnovers directly due to stripping the ball, believe teague sherman had both of them, there does seem to be an emphasis on trying to strip the ball from the player and at times it does seem to work, The D has been pretty damn good so far this year, yeah they had a rough game last night but really, the argument could be made that it was indeed their first bad game of the season, ray shredded them and the run game shredded them, Prior to this game, the D gave up something like what? 2 touchdowns in like 3 or 4 games? Can't really complain too much, Not giving the D an excuse but the Offence had a fair amount of 2 and outs, the last minute of the first there, the delay of game/ time count penalty, did the clock not seem to go extra fast there? but regardless, that right there and the Lirim shank was the begining of the downfall last night. I can't blame the D really when they aren't the problem.. The OL is a problem, the lack of run game is a problem, the brain camps are a problem.. the short week might have been a problem too.

1. Stoudermire was a beast 2. Romby had some issues last night and I don't see what he really brings as a veteran presence, at least it seems that this time around, he cares though 3. Howard sucked, January sucked too. January seems to get a free pass at times on this forum but he has not been good the last 2 games either, I'm starting to think our worst Olinemen are our Imports 4. Why was Willy still playing near the end? 5. Our Run D needs help, we are munchkins out there 6. Teague Sherman has really stepped up his game this year 7. Would like to see Bolton or McDuffie instead of Grigsby and Cotton... 8. Really need to figure out how to stop the run and to get the run game going more 9. Willy is gonna get hurt one of these games 10. With all that being said, on a short week, it was pretty obvious or D was gassed by the 4th quarter, Even Randle Island got invaded last night a few times, Bruce Johnson continues to impress though One last thought, The PI call, man oh man... like others have said, the floodgates are going to open now.. Glenn Johnson on pre-game said to have patience and give them some time and went on to explain some of the problems they have with some of the penalties, said there are 19 different things to tell a guy coming in to the league, needs to be simplified.. Have to agree with him there.

The coaches have actually dressed Cotton the last few games, but rarely used him, tells me the coaches do realize there is a problem with the running back, hell, walters even mentioned in an article they talked about the running back issue. I just think it's easy to sit on this forum and say Grigsby is the problem, no and's if's or but's but... since we really have no idea what play is supposed to be called and who is supposed to be where and all that stuff, i trust the coaches. If grigsby was as big of an issue as people think, He wouldn't play. It's that simple, they got cotton, they got bolton, they even got mcduffie now or whatever his name is, They have obviously made not of Grigsby and the issues he's having, i think it's pretty naive to think the coaches don't realize this and i think it's even more naive to just blame one guy for the running problem, Grigsby takes the heat on this forum quite a lot but... it's not just grigsby back there, if it was, he would be benched.

Yeah those 3 points given up on demonds fumble really killed us and not the fumble by Willy that lead directly to a touchdown or the pick 6 he threw.

TSN showed this last week prior to the game, this isn't anything new, it was on the pre-game show last week. Grigsby is a great athlete, there is no denying that. Right now, he's having a hard time as a running back but... I'm gonna cut him some slack and say I think most running backs would be struggling behind our oline right now, Not very good at run blocking it seems.. Other guys have holes to run through, Grigsby, the last 2 games in particular, hasn't.

Shocking but with that gongshow in Montreal this year, not really. Marsh isn't very good, prone to interceptions, it's either a big play or interception with Marsh at the helm and maybe they don't want to rush Marsh, Yeah he looked good at times but he looked awful at other times, I dunno, i thought smith looked ok last week, in the first half, he did have lots of drops by his receivers but some were cuz of high throws... Brink? Seriously? Good luck with that, that's all i will say.

Any team with Ricky Ray has a chance, always do no matter how "banged up" they are. Ray has and always will scare me, but that Toronto D certainly doesn't.

Unless the Jets trade Wheeler Little Ladd and Kane, there is no way they get a top 2 pick... Not a chance. I'd suspect we pick around 7-9 once again. I still feel with a league average goalie, this team can make the play-off. Tanking for McDavid just seems very very very unlikely, however with that being said, If we struggle badly and are in contention for a high pick (i personally like the 2 americans ,eichel and hanifin) but.. if we are in contention for a top 3 pick, I think the team might sell some players at the deadline to ensure they get it, i doubt they can be as bad as Buffalo or other teams like that though. Unless the NHL is gonna throw us a bone like they did to Pittsburgh with Crosby and give us the number 1 pick It's possible i suppose but how possible? probably 1 in 1 million, yes i'm saying theres a chance.

I watched the piece on Grigsby, was a little confusing but i guess it's pretty hard to argue against him being one of the best athletes in the CFL, they guy last year was playing baseball for the twins organization, this year he's playing football.. Can say what you want about the guy but... to be able to play 2 different sports like he has done tells you he is a damned good athlete. 4.34 40 time too, The guy is a damn good athlete, is he the best? That's hard to say actually.. but if that piece did anything, it showed that he is a damn good athlete... Not sure about the best but probably right up there with the best in the league.
