Lirim is the reason we lost. Anyone else is a far second with Stoudemire in second and that's about it. Blaming willy for this loss even a little bit is just plain wrong. 1 for 3 fgs. 1 missed convert. Lost by 1. Lirim left 7 points slip away. He's the reason we lost. Not sure if he got a single on the one miss but regardless he didn't on the last one and he missed a convert. If we lost by more than a missed convert sure blame everyone but reality is that missed convert cost us the game or OT at least. Not sure why some make it about everything else when we Calgary had their 11 play drive for a td. Take the 7 point lead. We respond with a td but miss the extra point. It's pretty black and white there

Lol arrogance. Stoudemire is a great return man. One of the best in the league. What it tells me is they need a bunch of yards in 30 seconds for a decent fg try. But then again a TD would have guaranteed the win cuz the way our kicker played tonight I'm not sure he makes a 30 yard fg even. What it says Is Stoudemire is a game breaker and got the green light. Wow. Harping on willy? Really. The guy was better than BLM tonight. We lost by 1 frigging point and our kicker missed a convert and people are on willy cuz he threw a pick. Jesus Christ. Mind boggling stuff from ppl who get too high after wins and suicidal and just stupid after a 1 point loss. Fact is special teams cost us this game. 16 points directly pretty much off special teams errors. Blocked punt. Stoudemire fumble. Lirim having his worst game as a bomber didn't help. 1 point loss. here's the way I see it. That 52 yard fg miss doesn't happen cuz we punt instead if our kicker could actually consistently hit a convert this year. People can crap on willy or whatever else but it was special teams and more specifically it was our kicker who cost us tonight. Crap on O'shea or willy for the time count but again it's irrelevant if our kicker actually makes the convert when we scored the TD to "tie" it. When he missed I said to myself. That's gonna cost us the game and ultimately it did.

The game should have been tied 26 26 and in OT really. How bout our D giving up an 11 play 107 yard basically all Cornish drive but beside that the d played well. Special teams cost us tonight. Last week u could say our blocked punt was why we won. This week name a special teams error really and it cost us. 16 Calgary points off special teams errors

Because when he was let go he wasn't very good. He's put in the work for sure but last year he only had a few big games and they were all against us. Cotton also wasn't the starting rb at the time. Props to messam for putting in the work but the guy this season is not the same one who was available

But the riders are also an old team. Lots of vets. Aren't they 2-13 or something in their last 15 games. They aren't good

In Canada there used to be something called "THE LORDS DAY" aka it was sunday and back then, no sports were allowed to be played on that day. Times change i suppose... banning or not banning, perhaps it's time for some change down there... but, my main thing is who the heck am i, a canadian at that to tell southern americans what they can and can not do. Times change for sure but sometimes not all places or people change with it, some people don't like change, winnipegers should know that all too well with councillors trying their hardest to save decrepid old buildings around town that serve no purpose, heritage buildings i believe they are called... The south is a strange place, it's a little bit behind the times in some of those places.

Gordon is pretty darn young, might take him some time to learn the nuances of the game, might be better to let him develop a bit longer... but then again, good point about running with the 1's and 2's.

I think it's a combo of several things.. it's never just one really.. I think the 6pm start time played a role... big time.. i think folk fest played a role, big time... i think it being plus 42 with the humidity played a role and i think people going to the lake on friday played a role (hottest weekend of the summer so far by far).. i also think last weeks loss played a role but... i would suggest it might have played a lesser role than the other things i mentioned did, i think folk fest and the 6pm start and the hottest week-end of the summer were the main reasons. People under estimating how many "young people' actually go to folk fest it seems. To ignore folk fest is silly... it's like ignoring dauphin country fest when it happens too.. it makes a huge impact for sure. More than people realize.. people can pretend to hate country music all they want but... thousands upon thousands upon thousands going to country fest every year says lots don't hate it and thousands upon thousands heading out to folk fest plays a role too. I guess, it's like this... country fest and folk fest only happen once per year... there are 9 bomber home games, if you miss one, who cares really cuz theres 8 more you can go too. I don't go to folk fest but in the past, when i had season tix for the bombers, i did go to country fest once or twice and yup the bombers game.. i was like oh well, theres always next week.
