I really like Maher, he's been making it looks easy. I'd hate to lose him because of a lack of CDN depth now. Hijarhulu basically shanked one of his makes. He didn't call bank like Deangelis did against the bombers at the 2012 LDC.

What difference does it make? If we're playing decent defence it doesn't matter. Sure sack totals look nice but is rather have a defence that turns the ball over than tally sacks like the 3-15 bombers.

If etch can turn the BB into an average defence who can turn the ball over I'd say that puts us in a good position. Every defence has it's holes.

I wish, you'll have your usual bomber supporters who will blindly give excuses and support whoever is on staff bash you and say its way to early, but reality is Etchevary's not a good DC. It was simply a bad hire.With who we have where, I don't see our run game getting any better. I used to think our pass defence would be good, but I'm starting to doubt that to. With Anderson sitting, we only have one, maybe two effective pass rushers on the DLine. It's not blind support. And if it is, then your discontent is blind as well. Maybe he's not a good DC, it's not unlikely by any stretch. But when you're unconventional, preseason isn't going to be where the determination is made His body of work in this league is more than large enough for us to form an opinion on his work. Just because it's only pre season doesn't mean we can't know what we're in for this year. What was Sask's record during his three year tenure as DC? It did include three winning seasons and two grey cup trips.If he can get his defence to buy in then it will be enough to put us in a position to win. That's a pretty decent step in the right direction for a franchise at an all time low if you ask me.

I always thought Collaros was more of a smoke and mirrors kind of QB last year... Time will tell.

Bottom line is that Knapp has been better than Jones this year so far. Last year is pretty irrelevant at this point. Except he hasn't... everyone just went nuts when Knapp ran as fast as Drew Willy. For me, I still don't see the benefit of an 'international' RG... especially if a 3 import OL means sitting Anderson and Kuale on certain plays. The only competition I see is Neufeld v. Jones... and if Neufeld can steal that spot then there is really almost no reason to have a 3 import line. He said - He said Time, and a larger sample size will tell us more.

He actually was a tight end in college then converted to guard on the line. I'm pretty sure he converted to tackle, not guard. Tackle is where I'd like to see him too. Knapp did not show well at RT last year... It was only what? Two games? It's tough to judge anybody on that team last year especially going on such a small sample size.

Pencer has looked rock solid thus far in his career? I thought this camp and his limited time last season all looked like they were progressions in where he was before.. Not leaps and bounds but not a wasted endeavour yet.. Swiston looks like he'll be on the 9 game IR as soon as the Bombers are allowed to put him on it, so Pencer isn't going anywhere in the short term. Not unless Quinn Everett looks absolutely amazing. Eight NI Olinemen on a CFL roster is pretty much the minimum. Some teams carry ten. He won't put together a 12 year career based on potential though. It's lookin' like he's got another 12 months left.

I'd say I'm definitely concerned about his injury issues. Of course the degree of concern is relative to how probable it is that he ever becomes our starter. As for his off field issues, I guess he was just a misunderstood college kid who had a little too much fun. We know about the small stuff that he got caught doing, it makes me wonder what he got away with. He's got a fresh start with a clean slate up here with us, however if anything should ever come up his history would make it tough to ever give him the benefit of the doubt.

How would this be possible? We traded him.
