  1. Looks like. I don't know if we could end up in a 3 way tie, but I'm guessing that's not favorable for us either. I just know we just gotta win.
  2. I'd say it was an A+ yesterday. The defense has definitely stepped it up in the last few games.
  3. From the CFL site in the event of a tie: When two or more member Clubs are tied in the final Division standings at the conclusion of the regular season schedule, preferential ranking for playoff purposes shall be determined on the basis of the following descending-order priorities and shall be awarded to the Club that: has won the greater number of games played against all member Clubs of the League, then, has the higher winning percentage in all games played against all of the other tied Club(s), then, has scored the higher net aggregate of points (i.e. points scored for less points scored against) in all games played against all of the other tied Club(s), then, has scored the higher net quotient of points (i.e. points scored for divided by points scored against) in all games played against all of the other tied Club(s), then, has the higher winning percentage in all games played against all member Clubs of the Division, then, has scored the higher net aggregate of points in games played against all member Clubs of the Division, then, has scored the higher quotient of points in games played against all member Clubs of the Division, then, has scored the higher net aggregate of points in games played against all member Clubs of the League, then, has scored the higher net quotient of points in games played against all member Clubs of the League, then, has won a coin toss against the other tied Club. Note: If two Clubs remain tied after other Club(s) are eliminated during any step, tie breaker reverts to step a).
  4. It's far too close. I felt good about the Bomber win, but I didn't expect both B.C. and Edmonton to win too.
  5. Rider offense will be limited to no more than 17 points today...trouble is, can we limit their defense/special teams from scoring?
  6. 620 radio in Regina was just interviewing Tom Clements. Boy, I loved that guy. They asked him who the best QB he ever coached was (Brett Favre or Rodgers). He said Rogers was. I wonder if we could ever see Clements back in Winnipeg in the future - coach/G.M.? I doubt it. Anyways, Bombers by 10 in this one.
  7. This is one game I won't be watching/recording this weekend...it has little effect on the Bombers
  8. We don't really like to see any Rider fans in Winnipeg, anytime, but since there are presently no laws against it, they will come. Seriously, there won't be many drunk Rider fans in the 'Peg this weekend. The Labour Day weekend in Regina, IMO, is the big drunk fest with many Bomber and Rider fans coming to the game already having loaded up. Bombers will win this one. Bombers by 10 (although I did make the same prediction for the Banjo Bowl).
  9. I forgot we play them the last game. Oh well.
  10. On a positive note, with Edmonton losing, I believe our "magic" number to clinch the playoffs is 2. Any combination of Wpg wins and Edmonton losses means we are in. Lots of combinations still at play as to where we end up.
  11. Yes, BLM will stay in Calgary and the only other place I could see Reilly going is B.C. My hope (and maybe best possibility for us) is that Nichols and Shreveler play out their contracts next year and then Nichols backs up Shreveler for a couple of years after that.
  12. Really like Jim Barker on the panel. Stegall, Dunigan, Barker is the best panel I've seen.
  13. Hmmm. Doubt either of them leave their teams, but the thought of having one of them joining the Bombers intrigues me.
  14. I love our lineman being nasty too; however, Im wondering what we would be saying if it was the opposition's lineman being fined? Just a thought...
  15. I guess there's no point to actually going to a live game then...they might actually lose...🙃
  16. Walters has done a great job getting Canadian talent in here. He has also done a good job of getting free agents in here pre-season. Having said that, he has a failing grade when it comes to bringing in talent mid-season, such as NFL players/ex-CFLers. I remember when the Bombers signed talent such as James West and Rod Hill. This regime (and if this is O Shea's decision than the F goes on him) has greatly disappointed me on this Chris Matthews issue.
  17. So ticked at the Bombers. The best team in the CFL looks to upgrade (yes, I know they have injuries), and we stand pat!!!!
  18. Can you elaborate on the 2nd and 3rd overall picks? Is there a trade or two I missed?
  19. Agree that Hall is #1
  20. Huh? Not sure what you mean. Like, maybe we should have held them to zero points?
  21. I was hoping to see the new returner debut for us, but oh well. Hopefully Fogg can break a couple.
  22. Anyone know if we have any lineup changes?
  23. Toronto was an average to below average team last year that won a few games at season's end and got lucky in the Grey Cup (but kudos to them). This year they are a bad team (without Ricky Ray). Right now they might be worse then Montreal.
