Yes. With Bowman gone I had wondered who the next object of hate on this forum would be...for now it looks like Lankford...but since he likely won't see the field it will be someone else. (Some love to hate, put down others constantly; it takes the focus off of our own deficiencies).

I think he meant that Nichols is better than Shreveler at going deep. Another plus of having Nichols back is that our best receiver - Adams - has been busier

Montreal had a real need. We didn't seem to be using or didn't seem to need Bowman...so...good move for both teams

A lot of the angst over Bowman's lack of production is just the result of him not being targeted. Adams is Nichols favorite receiver. That is not going to change. He is even being thrown to when other receivers are open. The last couple of years there was a lot of hate on this board against Denmark -"He's invisible"... "He can't get open" was a common refrain. Well, many times the issue was that he was not targetted. Bowman, by my count, had 2 balls thrown his way on Saturday. One he should have caught. The other was 2 feet in front of him. Let's relax and give him a few more games. If Dressler or Adams gets injured, we might see Bowmans value increase.

Yes that is the way things are done today. I am going to generalize here, but it seems that in the past, too often, these kinds of things were swept under the rug. But in today's world you are often guilty before a trial. I suspect that the Redblacks do not want the PR nightmare that keeping this guy on the roster till his conviction or acquittal would bring. So it is just easier to cut him now. (Just to give some context to my comments I do work with guys who have come out of the prison system.)

If we were 4-1 or 5-0 we wouldn't be talking about whether Adarius Bowman caught one pass or 10, but at 2-3 the coaching staff needs to take a long look at some changes. Bowman needs to show production soon...whether he is part of the problem or not.

Maybe Macadoo is Bombers version of Ritchie Hall, but I think Riders just don't have enough talent on offense - QBs, O-line, Canadian depth. Big mistake was not going hard after James Franklin (although Edmonton may have preferred to keep him out of the west). Riders coach may be a genius with the defense...but some of his other decisions border on the bizarre.

I wouldn't say Hamilton is a bad team anymore. I wouldn't be surprised to see them make the playoffs...they could even finish 1st in the East.
