  1. Or perhaps both are talented...
  2. Honestly, the Commish should award the two points to Hamilton based on how lucky we were to squeak out that win. There must have been soooooo much awkward silence in the Bomber locker room after that game...
  3. What are you trying to do, get Castillo to retire?
  4. That was the actual penalty. A second with one hand gripping the forearm.
  5. Did the salary cap change when Nichols became the starter? Seems like a strange way to do it, but the CFL has always been quirky.
  6. My understanding is that is monitored by a sideline official from the CFL, not the actual refs. They have enough trouble figuring out what pass interference is. We'd have to put red maple leafs on the jerseys for them to have a shot at keeping track. And then Canadinns gets all that promotion that they didn't pay for, so Winnipeg Moving gets upset...
  7. People seem to hang on to the memory of what Popp did a decade ago and not pay attention to what he's done in the last five years. When it comes to head-scratching decisions, Montreal leads the league by a mile. Can you imagine the outcry here if we had traded a first round pick for Vernon Adams?
  8. After the way things went down, I'm glad both parties were able to cheque their egos at the door.
  9. And that's the one... For the amount of time people spend talking about him, no mention of Cauchy? Cauchy sad now.
  10. I'll give you one of my strikes for having an optimistic outlook. *sticks neck back in noose*
  11. Okay then. You have the benefit of a full year of hindsight. Who are you taking instead?
  12. I'm only counting mine as 3 strikes since I missed a week. That way I can delay the elimination until week 6. McDaniel.
  13. Jones' ability to trade away assets for players who immediately retire is unparalleled. And his handling of draft picks is a master class. I can see why people admire his GMmanship so much. oops, I just lost control of my bowels...
  14. We are a nation of hosiers. Take off, eh!
  15. It's easy to sit back and laugh because it was funny. It's a CFL fan site. No one needs to take this very seriously. Fringe players swapping teams. No one is striking oil here. ps - Riders suck. Happy Monday.
  16. Based on recent track record of success...Phil Kessel.
  17. The horse is super flexible. Does tons of yoga.
  18. I'd guess he's saying we don't want to risk losing him for nothing until we have a better sense of what he can be. A 50/50 chance of that is too much. If you were told to go saddle a horse, but that there was only a 50/50 chance it would ram it's hoof into your junk, you'd probably say 50/50 is too much.
  19. To some extent that is true (he's a pocket passer and I can count on one hand the number of times he had an actual pocket to pass from last night), but the nature of the CFL allows for a QB to create something out of nothing. It even allows for the spectacular to be created out of disaster. Willy isn't doing that. Reilly did it about 4 times last night. Those plays are the daggers Bomber fans are so used to feeling. I don't think Willy could ever be that kind of QB - that usually goes hand in hand with enhanced mobility powers - but he is expected to compensate by being absolutely clinical in his execution. Last night was very rookie-like for long stretches, and he's not a rookie. As for how long his leash is, that's an awfully personal question.
  20. I think last night the Argos used up the entire weeks quota of missed tackles for the CFL. And Ellingson and Jackson thank them for it.
  21. Exactly. This is a slow uphill journey that will have to involve winning, good press and good experiences. First you have to give them a reason to show up, then you have your one shot to give them a reason to return.
