  1. Dissappointing that it is most likely his career; an injury where they can return is a lot different than a career ending injury. What happened that he required the off season injury? I still didn't believe he was ready to be back and playing and that it was too soon when BC started him. Though I also felt that way because I felt that Kevin Glenn was not playing horrible for his team either.
  2. I am not sure why all the fan fair over Moore; he has made some okay catches but has fumbled the ball almost every game he played. I would much rather have Aaron Kelly, Kohlert, Denmark, Watson, Fulio and if we had to replace someone I would have Moore in for Romby but I'd rather have neither. Moore fumbles the ball a lot and is 180k/year whilst Romby although has speed doesn't fight for the ball on errant throws. Yes that's the quarterbacks fault for making those throws; but we have a rookie in Drew who is playing like he's a vet which makes many forget he's a rook. We need our receivers to fight for those balls or at least try to be in it if the ball is anywhere close. Hell that interception this last game; even if Romby took a PI call and we got penalized because of it at least it would still be Winnipeg football.
  3. 17to85 can you ever have a discussion without being negative towards someone? Yesterday you and goalie were both terrible towards everyone, now if I go through your threads and replies you truly do think you are Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory, you have the same type of attitude but most likely not the same IQ (not saying you are incompetent, just saying Sheldon's fictional character is a genius which I do not believe any of us posting here most likely qualify as, including myself). It's okay those around you are not always going to agree with your assessment or judgement. On another note; who has two birds and how do they help you navigate?
  4. **** that attitude. Take care of your own business and you can make the playoffs without needing help from anyone. I'm thinkin in a more realistic attitude, we already had most of our easier games. We have Calgary a couple of times coming up. BC and Sask. I see three to four more wins for our team. Maybe 5 though I predict more likely three. With three wins that puts us at 9. We are already a game behind since we have more losses with more games played; we needed more wins with more games played. I see Sask easily get's 2 more wins I would expect more to be honest so I don't see us keeping up to Sask. BC is the team we need to beat, they are the ones we need to see lose a couple games.
  5. All of a sudden the Montreal team has life! Some great plays all in a row and now it's a ball game. Great kick off return for a touch down as well!
  6. If hamilton can beat some Western teams for us during the next few weeks it would go a long way to helping us get a play off spot, as long as that western team is not us
  7. Milo is going to miss the game winning FG and we end up winning the game, to the dissappointment of all the Sask fans at IGF
  8. Maybe they just want his brother and they figure it would help them to have Cauchy on their roster
  9. I thought a lot of reports started the same; that time Cotton was starting.
  10. I would agree with ISO it does not seem like it is worth the time nor money, the effort put in to give him a shot again would be better spent on those we know have better potential and have already proven they have that potential.
  11. His highlight video from college had him playing multiple different positions; I think that is where some of this comes from. He seems to be able to spot holes but definitely different as an RB than a Returner since there is a lot more time as a returner to plan the path. He seemed to be an all around utility guy in college and it would be great if he could fill those shoes with our team. Obviously CFL play though is not college play so it may not succeed but it definitely is worth giving it a shot.
  12. O'Shea is seldom negative to the public on any players; I would take much what he says about the players with a grain of salt. I am sure he is not saying things he does not mean, but at the same point he is not going to tell you that he feels someone isn't putting the effort in, or that he feels they are going to hit the bench soon. He is positive about the players to the media and takes care of the personnel issue's between himself, his coaches and his players. The way that it should be done. It's a team effort when they win, and a team effort when they lose.
  13. I would think we can keep both Cotton and Grigsby; we aren't really hurt by any SMS cap that either player would take and not playing really means even less pay for a rook. You always need a back-up RB as well and want to have depth so I don't know if it makes sense to cut him we have a lot of vets that aren't performing at all that would free up more cap space and could then be replaced in much more needed areas. I think we have room to keep three RB's on the pay roll maybe even four if they are decent utility guys even though Cotton hasn't proven to be a great utility guy yet.
  14. Could be interesting to see Stoudimier become the starting RB and Returner and than have Grigsby do a WR/RB split role because I agree I believe Grigsby would be great at the WR/RB split.
  15. When watching highlights on Stoudimier looks like in college he played some running back as well as did some receiving. Actually it seemed like he played many positions on both sides of the ball
  16. Here's hoping that Chad Anderson will work out for us and show up on the team sometime next year, preferably at the beginning. As a rookie I do not see him being a positive influence on the team this year in retrospect unless injuries occur and he needs to be put in. But then again Goosen has been put in and he hasn't done terrible considering he is of rookie status as well.
  17. That was a great return for a TD
  18. What happened on the last punt from saskatchewan? Seemed like montreal should have it at their fifty with an illegal kick and instead it was at the 30
  19. Saskatchewan got lucky on the No PI call on the interception after the review that showed up as a PI. Definitely sj green was interfered with on that ball. Was a silly play call to go after sj green though for brink
  20. January seems to be the one doing worse out of the group; I am not sure why everyone is a fan he seems to often be the one who makes the mistake and misses his man. At least from the games I re-watched.
  21. You have had one the entire time!!!!! How`s the quality I`m going to watch that one tonight see if it`s better than my usual
  22. Dissarono is my drink of choice; either that or amazing ceasars
  23. I also agree more with the CFL.CA version at this moment in time
  24. Rich he was referring to the guy who said Ignorant; not to you
  25. We should be part of the WEST anyways; it's easier for us to go to games in the WEST. We are a more Western team with more fans in the western provinces then the eastern provinces. We are just the central team that means we get swapped around every time the east loses a team. Hopefully when we get 10 teams again we will always have at minimum 9 teams after that point. I also believe we should leave the ratio; Winnipeg is now about the be able to start 8 Canadians. There are multiple teams starting 8 or 9 Canadians now. We are starting to show that Canadians can play in multiple positions and actually take over the starting spots of internationals. The ratio and the new team is forcing this to happen and allowing those rookie Canadians to get chances. They prove themselves get the experience and many of them are now holding their own.
